CH14: History Lesson, new faces

he sighed and nodded looking back at his sons and daughters "As you all know I left the Volturi because I don't approve of their way of ruling, but there is more to that too."

sighing again he start to recount "Not long after the order, I don't know maybe a month or so, one night as the council where in a meeting, a man holding a katana throw the door open before anyone could notice or react he cut the arms and legs of everyone inside leaving one sentence before heading out"

this made the whole room silent as he continue "he said 'dont poke a sleeping lion and expected no reaction, this is the first and last warning' After we could move, we head out finding that most of the people inside the base were burned alive, leaving a handful of them with broken bodies around"

this made them feel a shiver passing through their body, from what they heard the Volturi was almost destroyed, and that was probably the work of one man.

Edward said in a shaking voice "Is it a good thing to keep in contact with them? we should keep our distance from that house, I suggest we leave this town immediately "

as he said that booming voice come from the side, looking he found Rosalie cracking the table under her punch while glaring at him "How about shutting up? what the hell even your thinking suggesting something like that if you don't remember that my mate House your talking about, and this the town me and you will be meeting our other halves"

"Both of you calm down! and rose your fixing that table" Esme said in a strict voice while looking at the duo "Leave the talk until we finch the story"

Carlisle nodded "After I left the Volturi, the accident still bugged me, so after I meet James, I asked him about it, and guess what he answer?"

Esme continued "James said "my family don't just hunt, they hunt on a Creed"."

Carlisle nodded "And after he explain, I know that as long as you don't commit a sin, they won't bother with you, but if you do that or touch a family member, then you won't survive their hunt"

after finishing Emmeth ask with a rising hand "You said something about protection along with treaty, what was that about" All of them look at him in shock "What" he asks in confusion.

they chuckle before Carlisle takes a fang nickles with some symbol engraved in it from around his neck, and Esme also takes a nickles but it had a white snow feather instead of a fang.

they show it around as Carlisle explains "Before James and Emma left Fork, he gives us these two necklaces, saying that as long as we have them no hunter will bother us."

esme continued "and the only thing all the supernatural know about the family of old is any member will never lie or back in their world, so we take it and chose to believe them"

They all sighed and look at each other before looking at Rosalie who asked "What do you think my ma... Leo's connection to the two of them?"

Carlisle shook his head in denial "I don't know, but probably their son?"

Esme bump his shoulder "it not probably, Hi is there son, didn't notice the smell in the house is very similar."

Carlisle smiled "I hope so" he look back at Rosalie "At least I can be at ease for you, but what do you think?"

Rosalie smiled back at him "That doesn't matter, as long as I can be with him nothing else mater" Smiling at her comment they end the talk and everyone heads back to ther room, while Rosalie followed by Alice, Jasper, and Esme head to Leo house.

back in time right after the Cullens hunt and entered their house, 3 shadows land in the forest, specifically the area where Leonard first awakens his heritage before.

looking at the land that was still frozen even after a long time passed since the accident.

the 3 people start to investigate the place around them before the female with the blond hair speak "The residual element are far strong than some attacks input of some family member, this amazing"

an old man with black hair nodded "And not only ice element, looking at the trees around having more life force than normal, probably light element too"

that last person who looks in his teens with the same blond hair as the lady asks with an irritated face "Then why are we still here gramps? gramps?"

looking at the old man zoning out he call him back but got a question instead "Sorry, what you were saying?"

noticing this the lady asked "Something wrong Father?" he shook her head "No, is just the feeling the element around is familiar and I kind of just picked a smell familiar but strange smell to me"

the woman stops for a second before screaming "James!?"
