CH11: History Lesson

------3rd Pov------

couple Km away from the shores of La Push, a small hidden island with dozens of filled and small but not Log houses in the middle.

in the library inside, which looks like copy from a Harry Potter Book, a young man sitting in front of a robotic owl.

the owl, Emma looks at the young man and first guest in years, Leonard Rageheart saying "Are you ready for a history lesson?" Leo nodded waiting for her to start.

"Now where, should I start?" asked Ema, Leo pondering for a moment "From the world creation I guess?"

Emma nodded "Well we have a saying for a description of the world it says {Four anchors, Four chains, 3 directions, as the sun on the horizon, the truth hides but never despises.} it like an old description of the world"

Leo looks star at her "And what does that mean?" the owl just rise her wings "I don't know" This almost cause Leo to fall from the chair "Excuse me?"

she laughed "Well it's a saying before the Veil Rise, so hardly anyone knows the true meaning, we have a couple of theories, and that's all" Leo asks in confusion "Then way you telling me that?"

"It's cool so why not start an explanation with it?" Leo know that the owl just trolling him and sighed and decide to let it go "So, the veil is?"

ema laughs "Veil, or the 'viel of protection', is a spell cast on the whole world, it's meant to hide the supernatural away from normal humans and the reverse."

she stops for seconds to decide what to start the talk with "You see in the far past, there was a time when the world as we know it right now was a dream for some. The only thing you will find close to law or order is the jungle law where the weak is prey for the strong"

looking from a window "Every day was 'do or die', death was in every corner." she look back at Leo and start to fly "Follow me" Leading the way she took him to a room on the side look like an office, with 4 pictures behind a desk set, for 2 men and women.

standing on the couch arm "Thous times were really terrible until these 4 brats decided it was enough" She looks at Leo who was looking fixedly at the picture of a man with golden hair and blue eyes.

waiting until he looks at her "You two look alike right? Except for the hair and eye color of course."

Leo nodded "Is he my ancestor or something?"

she chuckle "You named after him. the founder of the Rageheart and the first leader of the Order Creed, Leonard RageHeart the first, your great grandfather"

looking back at the picture and hearing the word coming from the owl he sighed "That makes me 'the second', So what they did ?"

the owl looks back at the picture "As the name of their creed, they brought Order to the world. in the beginning, they start to assemble personnel from all over the world, witches, supernatural races, fighters, and for one reason: to protect the mortals"

Looking back at Leo and starting to laugh "You think that they are stupid? right?" he nodded, if we talk about normal humans then sure, law and little force at some times will make it possible.

but we're talking about the SUPERNATURAL here, some of them need to feed on humans, Leo knows off ones that need at least blood, and let's not talk about the ones that need MORE than blood and are unknown to him.

nodding at him, Ema chuckled "Well yea that's what they figure out later."

he nodded as she continue "Well at the start, they were known as hunters, any supernatural that commit evil will be their target no matter its specie and they keep on it for the year to come. As time flowed on, their fame and organization grow to what is known later 'Order Creed."

she sighed and look back to Leo "And as they age and grow wiser, they sow that even the world becomes a little better with chances for 'normies' to live better lives. and people around to inherit their creed, that never changes the painful fact that the weak will always fall as the ultimate victim and will still be so in the future"

stopping as she saw Leo having an ugly expression for some reason "What?" Ema asked in confusion.

Leo sighed answering "It doesn't need a genius to guess what they are thinking."

she sighed "Well, as you guess probably, they start to search for a way to separate the sides of natural and supernatural."

before she could continue Leo said "And let me guess, they made one, but the result was batshit crazy?"

she sighed tiredly "Not my choice of words, but yeah they almost rip apart our reality"

this made Leo freeze thinking "I know I said Batshit, but not on this level.' he look at her as if saying 'seriously' and she nodded.

he stands up leaving Ema in confuse, looking back at her with a tired look "I need to eat something if we going to continue this 'lesson'."

leaving the office under her surprised eyes heading to the kitchen to cook.
