CHAPTER 23:RUDE AND ARROGANT

Alicia didn't get why the car was following her,was this the modern way of looking for trouble? she was just about to move again when her phone rang,she looked up at the number to see that it was the same restricted number.

Alicia picked up the phone thinking maybe he wanted to apologise that he wouldn't be able to make it, but as she placed the phone over her ears,the first thing she heard was.

"Get in"

"Huh". Alicia was confused as she looked around,what did he mean by ' ohhhhhh ' her mind exclaimed as soon as her eyes settled on the car again,' could it be that this was his car as well?.no wonder it was after her.

Anyways, without hanging up,she moved and opened the car a little to peep inside first and the cool breeze that hugged and welcomed her skin the moment she opened the door sent shivers down her spine, ' was it snowing in here' she thought.

Inhaling that familiar masculine scent, Alicia therefore had no doubt that it was really him so she climbed in, treating the car like it were a stairway because it was quite high.

As soon as she was seated,she glanced at him but he was gulping down a bottle of water so she turned to lock the door and upon locking it,that was when she noticed the luxury she was in,her eyes sparkled in intrigue as she took in the luxurious interior,the soft leather seats,the state of the art entertainment system,the sleek dashboard filled with buttons and screens,and finally the refreshing air conditioner,they all spoke of a world Alicia never ever dreamed of.

Alicia after wandering her eyes round the luxurious car finally remembered that she had not yet taken a look at him,she turned towards him to first of all say good day before anything else but as her eyes met with his,her words got stuck In her throat.

Alicia's lips slightly parted as she gazed at him already looking dazed in only a matter of seconds,she thought that she already had an idea of how handsome he was but then it wasn't true,it was all a lie,she hadn't been informed at all as the dark hadn't done Justice to his looks at all, infact it had downgraded and insulted his looks.

His face was a masterful blend of classic beauty and fierce masculinity,his delicate features offsetting the deep intelligence that shone in his gray eyes,he wasn't that bulky but he looked strong,he exuded an air of quiet confidence and suitable wealth

Dressed in a big black T-shirt and baggy jeans,his slender frame was accented by the sinous lines of the intricate tattoos that adorned his hand,the inked artistry snaking it's way across his left arm,telling a story of his inner world which seemed to lend a rugged edge to his already striking appearance.

Alicia was smitten damn bad but the boy was smitten even more despite him comfortably sitting back there with a poker face.

Somehow, Alicia forcefully snapped out of her dazed state and managed to greet,she used to think that handsome boys like this only existed in stories but then she actually saw one in real life and his beauty even beat the ones from stories.

"G-good afternoon" she greeted the moment she found her voice back,she looked quite embarrassed at the way she was shamelessly gawking at him a while back.

Alicia heard him let out a small sigh before he started the car with the words. " Seat belt" and gladly, Alicia heard that.

She quickly pulled out the complicated looking seatbelt and after a lot of efforts, finally strapped it around herself,all the while she was busy thinking. ' what was she doing,and where were they going' she didn't even know him fully yet and she just got into his car without him telling her their destination.

Alicia somehow found him rude and arrogant in the fact that she had greeted him a while ago but he didn't respond, Alicia bit her lips as he drove, trying to restrain herself from asking. ' where are we going' but too soon, Alicia was forced to open her mouth when she saw that they were heading for the main campus gate.

"W-where are we going" she stuttered looking at him confused

"Somewhere" he replied without taking his eyes off the road

"W-won't they look for us" she blurted out looking back at the campus.

The boy glanced at her looking amused as hell,he could tell once that she had never stepped out of the gate since she got here,'was she perhaps a mummy's girl'.

He let out a small snorty chuckle before he replied. " Maybe they might look for you but certainly not me" he said still looking amused,he then glanced at her and when he saw the nervousness about leaving the campus on her beautiful face he added in a soft voice " Relax we'll just go out for lunch"

At that time,they had just exited the campus gate fully and were now on the highway.

Alicia was thinking, there were so many cafeterias in the school,why outside,but anyways,she took a deep breath as soon as she remembered that last night, despite being in a vulnerable condition,he didn't take advantage of her in the dark so why in the day?

"Okay" she finally replied in a small voice " but my roommates might get worried about me so who should I tell them I'm with" she asked bringing out her phone.

The boy let out a small mischievous smile before he said. " Just tell them you're with Jaden" he replied before he focused his gaze back on the road.

Alicia paused upon hearing that name,it sounded so familiar and popular too,she was about to ask for a surname as there might be many other Jadens in the school but just as she opened her mouth,the car smoothly swerved right entering into the parking lot of MacDonald's.

'it wasn't even far' she thought as they had only been on the road for about five minutes and she literally could still see the flyover in front of Montgomery.
