That escalated...
"So what do you guys want to do?" Chris asks.
"You're asking the wrong Girl," Mine says.
"We can go back to our base and prepare for another battle. Like we always do, or-" She pauses, hesitating. "I mean, we can go after the Evil Prime minister Honest. It's not like anyone can stop us now."
Tatsumi grins at the thought of killing the person responsible for the deaths of his friends. Then he sighs, "This is probably a bad idea. Even if we just killed Zenk the executioner in a matter of seconds without him noticing," he trails off, scratching his chin.
"Yeah. Well, I Think we should just pop Prime minister honest's head off from a few miles away." Mine says, Propping pumpkin up on the back of her shoulder.
"We should go back and wait for orders," najenda says. "General esdeath Might actually be stronger than we think." she finishes.
"But we can't let that asshole get away with the state of the country! We're powerful now! we have the strength of thousands of men and women!" Lubbock exclaims.
"I mean, we could easily march right up to the castle, and just," Sheele motions a clipping with her massive Teigu scissors. "Even if we need to report this to the leaders. I don't think they'd mind us just. I don't know. Ending this once and for all?"
Everyone nods at the prospect of ending this war.

We had been walking for about 10 minutes when we heard a scream from behind us.
Akame immediately dropped the body of Zenk, turning to face the direction of the scream.
"Oh fuck. What the hell is that?"

-Eris POV-
Damn it.
I had just finished making sure that the new reality wall was working properly only to notice that the entire place was being invaded by a bunch of demons. They were attacking everything in sight and breaking through the walls.
*Crash.*
"Oh fuck this!" I exclaim. "This realm can go fuck itself with a spoon!" I tore through the void and left. for good.

-Zachary POV-
We had arrived at the castle and found it completely empty. No guards, no servants, nothing.
I heard a loud noise and turned to see that a demon had gotten past the wall. It was chewing on the child emperors head, which was still attached to his body, and I just realized that this is going to suck.
Akame was running towards the kid, screaming "Hey, hey, what are you doing?!"
The demon looked up at her, then at the child emperor waved at her, completely oblivious to his situation. He continued waving his hand around as Akame rushed in to try to save him."
It looks like Prime minister Honest, the evil bastard, is dead, and The royal guard is completely gone, the only remaining leadership is the useless child Emperor.
I look over to Mine and Sheele, who are both staring at the scene in shock.
"I've never seen a real monster before. This is so cool." The Child emperor who literally nobody knows the name of says,
Mine smiles at the child emperor, "And this is why I love you guys. This is the most rediculous shit i've ever seen."
I grin at her, "I agree. I'm glad we came here. I just wish that we weren't too late to help."
Akame is kneeling next to the child emperor, who just bled out, when the demon spat him on the ground.
"I think it's time to get out of here," Mine says.
"Agreed." I say.
We turn to go when suddenly the air begins to shimmer.
Akame is knocked backwards onto her ass, her eyes wide with fear. A pressure descends on the area and the world shudders as a bunch of demons enter through the void.
They all look identical except for their weapons. Each one carries a scimitar.
"Shit. How many are there?" Lubbock asks.
"I think it's more than 1000." Tatsumi Exclaims.
"We need to get out of here!" Bulat shouts, brandishing his spear, as Incursio forms upon his body.
"I agree," I say, grabbing Akame and carrying her away.
"No! Stop!" Akame screams, struggling against me.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because I don't want Bulat to die!" I stare back and notice Bulat is trying to hold them off as we retreat.
I frown, "FUCK!"
I turn around, place Murasame back into Akame's hands and then brandish my war-scythe.
"we're in for the long haul guys!" I shout.
"Let's go!" Mine yells, charging forward and firing shots from Pumpkin into the group of demons.

-Akame POV-
I hear something and turn to see a large shadow racing towards me.
I react instinctively jumping back with speed I didn't have before I learned how to cultivate.
Then I see the blade coming straight at me.
Murasame cuts through the air and into flesh I am sent backwards in rebound, hitting the castle walls.
I fall to the ground and roll down the stairs, getting tangled up in the banister and falling again.
I land on a stone floor and lay there stunned.
My vision starts to clear and I realize that I'm lying on top of a pile of bodies. I shudder, and remember my training, I move as fast as I can, crawling across the ground and climbing up the pile of corpses.
I find a spot near the center and sit up, coughing.
"Are you ok?" Mine asks.
"Yes." I answer. But wasn't mine on the other side of the city? I look to see where the voice of mine was coming from, but I only see a demon.
I stand up and look around Cautiously brandishing my Murasame.
I see the demon looking at me, then at the pile of bodies. Then it picks up a body and tosses it at me.
I jump out of the way, avoiding the body. and charge forward with a flash step.
The demon blocks the attack with its sword and I use a kick to knock it back.
It tries to block the kick with its own weapon and I slip inside the swing, slicing it across the chest.
Blood spurts everywhere.
The demon slashes at me with a scimitar but I dodge it and slice at the demon's arm, it looks like One Hit kill Murasame isn't working! It should be dying!
The demon laughs at me and moves back.
Then it points at me and pulls back an arm, throwing a fireball at me.
I duck, dodging the blast, but the heat radiates through me, good thing I picked fire resistance earlier or the heat would have charbroiled me!
I see the demon preparing another attack, then I see a blur moving towards it.
I gasp, seeing that it's Zachary.
He swings his war-scythe at the demon and slices it cleanly in half.
"You alright Akame?" Zachary asks,
-Zachary Kimihara POV-
I look through the battlefeild. Hearing the explosions coming from Pumpkin in the distance,
"What happened?" I ask.
"This guy just appeared out of nowhere. Must have been summoned by the demons. We killed some of them but the demons kept coming." Akame says.
"They're pretty strong. Got a lot of health and resisted the damage from our weapons. Even murasame's curse doesn't kill them as fast as it should." Akame Continues, showing a rare expression of fear.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you." I say, "Let's get out of here."
I grab Akame and run back the way we came.
I see that Mine is still fighting off the demons. I signal to her and she breaks off quickly, I notice Bulat is running on fumes, I signal to him again and he grabs tatsumi by the scruff of his shirt, He seems to be barely standing. Mine eyes widen but she refocuses and then Darkness rushes towards us, trying to escape as best she can.
We follow her, back through the streets and past the burning buildings.
I look back, seeing that Mine is surrounded by demons. Firing Pumpkin like crazy, she clearly has an idea, and stands on top of Pumpkin, grasps it with her Chi, and then fires it like a make-shift jet. as soon as the energy blast subsides, she grabs it and falls down inbetween us.
She then jumps down and runs to join us.
I notice that Bulat is barely holding on to Tatsumi.
"Hey, Bulat. You okay? You're looking pretty rough."
He frowns, and then sighs. "I'll never make it at this rate."
Oh fuck no.
"Go on without.-"
I knock him uncoscious before he can suggest we leave him behind. I grab him and shove him over my shoulders, Najenda grabs tasumi and tries to fireman carry him. She successfully puts him over her shoulders, as Lubbock catches up. Chris seems to have disappeared at some point, but my cultivation sense says she's alive. somewhere. Leone in her Lionel transformation rushes outside the city and we follow behind her.
