Chapter 10 Shinobu`s Training Last Part

On the floor of the training place throwing knives can be seen everywhere.

At the moment, Noah is explaining to Shinobu how their training will work.

The normal knife throwing consists of 3 different parts.

1. the knife stance

2. the body posture/angle

3. the throw

The first one is self-explanatory how to handle the knife.

"Shinobu take one of the smaller ones and hold it between your fingers."

Shinobu followed his instruction and took a knife which had a about 3inch double edge, between her fingers.

"Good, turn your hand and aim against the tree."

Shinobu followed his instruction again.

"Now make a swing like movement with your hand and time it with your body by bending it slightly forward transferring your power to your hand."

Shinobu followed this instruction however her throw did not hit.

This however didn't let her down.

She took the next knife and tried again and again and again and so the hours passed.

5 hours later

Shinobu could now hit the tree with relative accuracy, so Noah decided to continue with the training.

In the next few days she will be able to practice throwing knives on her own.

The next training was still with the knife.

This time with a 5in blade.

"Shinobu the knife fight is fundamentally different from the sword fight you are used to." said Noah as he gave her a knife in her hand."

"You hold it first." he said as he grabbed one for himself.

Even though Noah himself rarely used a knife, it doesn't mean he's a beginner, the reason for that is that he was a knife freak in his last life.

Even though he never trained himself, he collected knives and watched tutorial after tutorial.

First he showed her a normal stabbing technique.

Then came a slice technique.

In the next few hours he showed her everything he knew about knives.

Strangely enough, he succeeded in every technique at the first attempt.

Noah suspects that it might be related to his sword mastery, since he didn't get a new skill for knife mastery.

He thinks that Sword Mastery is more like Blade Mastery.

Shinobu had slight difficulties at the beginning however she can now perform all the techniques to the minimum.

Noah, has let her learn all of them, so that she can practice them without him, after all he had other plans for the next few weeks.

Since it was now already dark, he decided to stop for today.

Until the next day, he cultivated in his room, breaking through once.

Also worth to mention is that Noah, during the training in Martial Art yesterday, has unlocked a skill.

[Martial Arts Beginner(E) : Knowledge of all Martial Arts]

He got this skill after he was able to perform 5 different martial arts.

The system doesn't seem to split the different martial arts, but made a general skill out of it.

Noah also found out that the system does not give him a skill for every techique he knows.

A good example of this is the use of Qi. If he uses his Qi as a Qi ball, there is no Qi ball skill or anything like that.

His theory is that the system only gives general skills.

An example of this would be when he unlocks an element.

In the description of the bloodlines he could already see that for an Element the strength depends on the mastery of the element itself, and for the techniques on the mastery of the manipulation of the element.

An example would be with the element Fire

With 12% Fire manipulation he can create 24 swords from fire and with 24% Masrery 48.

The strength of the swords, however, depends on the mastery of the element.

In short, the element is the fuel and manipulation the car.

Back to the training.

What Naoh first tried to teach Shinobu was to cultivate.

However, this turned out to be different than he thought.

There were several problems.

One of them was that Noah was not using the Qi naturally produced by the Earth, but was using a better Qi produced by the system.

A different one was that Noah didn't know how to open Shiniobu's meridians.

What are Meridians?

Every human has Meridians and they are like Blood Vessels.

The reason most people can't cultivate is because they are not opened. Everyone has different amounts, however the maximum is 10.

In Noah's case, all of them were open from the beginning.

The purpose of the Meridians is to absorb qi and allow it to flow through the body.

In the Foundation stage, you can only strengthen the body with it, but the qi cannot be stored.

Only in the qi Gathering Stages where the Dantian is formed can the qi be stored.

A different problem was that Noah didn't know how to open Shiniobu's Medirians.

In the end, Noah only thought of a method that he can test himself.

This method is one that is quite normal in Xinxia Novel.

Namely, a strong person lets his Qi flow through the person who wants to unlock his Medirians.

Even though Noah is not that strong, his Qi quality is extremely high.

If it were not for this fact, he wouldn't even try it, as the risk would be too high.

Next, Noah placed Shinobu in a lotus position.

Then he stood behind her, and guided his Qi through her medirians.

Shinobu had 6 of them and all of them were closed.

Seconds later, Shinobu began to scream.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhhhh

Yup, opening Medirians is absolutely painful, after all it's like getting new vessels in your body.

A few seconds later Shinobu was lying on the floor with bubbles coming out of her mouth.

Noah was relieved that his method succeeded.

The next problem is that Shinobu needs time.

After all, she can't break through in such a short time like Noah.

But at least she can strengthen her body now.

Shinobu's skills were never really weaker than the other pillars, her problem was only her lack of strength.

This problem is now fixed.

As Noah waited for Shinobu to wake up, he sat down next to her and cultivated during this time.

2 hours later

When Noah felt movement next to him, he opened his eyes and saw Shinobu slowly regaining consciousness.

When she regained consciousness, she bombarded Noah with questions.

Understandable, since she was a Doctor, but never knew that Meridians existed.

This gave her a lot to think about.

`What else don't i know about this body,` she asked herself.

However, Moah's voice brought her out of her thoughts.

Next, he taught her to meditate.

When Shinobu succeeded after a few tries, she was surprised to feel an energy flowing through her body.

"What is that?" she asked excitedly.

"It is called Qi and is produced by the earth."

"Your meridians allow you to absorb it and strengthen your body with it." Noah explained

Shinobu could not believe what she was hearing.

However, it all made sense now. Why Noah is so strong and so on.

In the next few minutes, Noah explained the stages that lead to the golden core and she listened with interest.

"What realm are you Noah?" she asked.

At this question, Noah raised his hand, made a finger pistol and fired.

"I don't have an element yet." he replied.

Shinobu could put 1 and 1 together and immediately knew what level he was in.

"Shinobu, now that I've kept my part of the deal, I'll be leaving tomorrow morning."

Shinobu already expected this when she noticed that Noah wanted to teach her everything as quickly as possible, so she didn't bother to comment.

In the next lesson, Noah showed her how she can strengthen her body with the Qi.

Since the qi in this world was relatively thin, she was not able to break through to the first stage.

`But now that she knows how it works, it is only a matter of time.` Noah thought satisfied

The rest of the day was spent in Shinobu's lab as she showed him her latest poisons.

Some of these poisons were quite useful, so Noah took some of them with him in his inventory.

When Noah arrived back in his room, he thought about his next steps.

He had one problem.

Even though Noah had enough strength now, that strength would be useless if he couldn't find muzan.

Besides, he was worried that if Muzan realized that all his Uppermoons were dying, he might decide to disappear.

The first thing he wanted to do was to visit Daki, after all Muzan visited her from time to time.

After that he would like to visit Muzan near his little family.

The problem is that in the anime/manga they never mention where the family is located.

But before Noah went crazy, he decided to continue cultivating.

Now the first goal is determined.

From next chapter is Muzan/Uppermoons hunting time.

In this chapter I have explained cultivation in general, since I haven't done this before.
