Chapter 58 : Annabeth

In the camp

While Alex was walking in the trees , he heard some sounds

" What are those sounds ? , who is making them at this time ? "

"Let's go see it "

As Alex walked towards the place where the sounds are coming .

Alex came to near the place a hid behind a tree and saw a girl practicing with her sword

She has dark brown and blond hair which are mixed and blue eyes and beautiful face which was reflected by the moon light

" Wow , what a beautiful girl , as I thought the ladies in this camp must be beautiful "

" Then what , is she doing here at night "

Then the girl put down the sword and took the bow and started shooting arrows

" This girl is quite talented both proficient in sword and bow "

While Alex was admiring the beauty a arrow came and pierced the tree he was hiding behind

" Whoa who attacked me show yourself ? " shouted Alex who came out of hiding , and came near the girl

" I attacked you " said the girl

" Why did you attack me ? " asked Alex feeling confused

" Do i need a reason that , you were watching me secretly, So i attacked you "

" What is with your reasoning, I'm just admiring the nature view at night "

" You just happened to be middle of it " said Alex

Hearing that the girl thought

where did these shameless fellow come from ?

He is obviously observing me ?

" Who are you ? I didn't see you in the camp before ? "

" I'm a newcomer to this camp " as soon as Alex said these words a sword was slashed at his shoulder

But Alex dodged it by moving to the side

" What the hell are you doing ? are you nuts ? " shouted Alex at the girl

" No , I just wanted to test you , but seeing you dodge like that "

" I know you were strong "

What is wrong with this girl ?

" I would have died , If I was a normal person "

" You didn't die , so you are not a normal person "

Then she took the bow from her back and shot a arrow towards Alex head , Alex moved his head to dodge and at the same time a sword was coming towards him

Alex stretched his hand a sword appeared in his hand , which he took from the table where sword are arranged in a row

Alex deflected the sword with his sword and said

" Girl , did I do something wrong , why are you trying to kill me "

But the girl did not respond and slashed toward Alex neck Alex stopped it with his sword

Then the girl kicked on the Alex stomach, But Alex caught her leg with his other hand seeing this , the girl jumped backwards and again came towards Alex with sword in her hand

Seeing this Alex also ran towards the girl but tripped because of the stone and fell on the girl who was in front of him

Alex felt that his lips were touching something smooth

Wait If i fall on the ground shouldn't it be hard ?

Why is it smooth ?

Alex opened his eyes and saw he was kissing the girl and the girl also opened her both made eye contact

They both was struck like that for 10 sec and the girl pushed Alex away

After that both of them stood up and the girl took the sword

" Girl , I'm sorry, it was an accident "

" There is no need to be sorry "

" Thank --------- " but Alex didn't continue talking as he heard the girl words

" Because you are going to die " said the girl with angry expression

" It looks like you are not in a good mood "

" I will meet you tomorrow " said Alex and immediately turned and ran with his full speed without looking back and disappeared in a blink of an eye

While running Alex thought

' Dealing with girl's, who are angry is not easy , so it's better to run '

Seeing Alex dissappeared the girl became angry and said

" I will find you , and deal with you "

At the same time she became embarrassed remembering the scene

Outside the Infirmary

Grover saw Alex running from the trees , and soon Alex came to Grover

" Alex , why are you running like that ? "

" Nothing just escaping from a crazy girl ? "

" What did you do ? "

" Nothing "

Alex explained all happened in the woods

" You are very brave to kiss a girl you just met ?"

" It is an accident "

" Can you show me the place to sleep "

" Okay , follow me "

Grover showed a small wood cabin and said

" You can sleep here , I will come morning and pick you up "

" Okay "

Alex came inside the cabin and slept on the bed

Morning

Alex woke up and took a bath and changed his clothes and Grover came and said

" Alex let me give you a tour of camp "

" Where is Percy ? "

" He is still sleeping, he may wake up tomorrow "

" Okay "

Grover showed around the camp and came to a place where the people were practicing with swords and Alex saw the girl he met last night and the girl also saw him

" Grover, who is she ? " asked Qlex while pointing towards the girl

" Annabeth .Daughter of Athena , the goddess of wisdom "

" Why are you asking about her ? "

" Why is she coming towards us ? "

" No time to explain, time to run " said Alex and ran away
