Selene then opened the door and walked towards the Hall, But the scene in the hall made her speechless.

Because Michael was tied to the chair if he was normally tied she would not be surprised, but the way Michael was tied is weird. He looked like a mummy attached to the chair, with his hands and legs tightly and his whole body wrapped in duct tape apart from his eyes and nose.
