After some time they arrived at Port Royal.

They docked the boat.

There were some soldiers patrolling Port Royal, and they quickly spotted the incoming governor.

Seeing him, they quickly came towards him and saluted him politely. There are a few confused expressions as they do not understand how the kidnapped governor is here.

"Sir how are you here ? " asked a soldier.

"I was saved by this gentleman." said the governor as he pointed at Alex.

"Get a carriage to take us to the mansion." said The over as he ordered the soldiers

" Yes sir, " the soldier saluted and left.

"Notify that Governor was saved and miss Elizabeth also returned "

Observing Alex, he said, "Also, tell him that the pirate has returned.".

" Okay," said the soldier and left

Then the soldier arranged a carriage for the governor and escorted them to the mansion.

"Sir, please enjoy your stay. I have some work to attend to," said the governor, who had a lot of work to do due to his absence.

In Norrington's office which is filled with Rich mahogany furnishings, a heavy oak desk, and a large bookcase full of leather-bound volumes surrounded the room. Gleaming brass fixtures and an antique carpet completed the regal atmosphere.

Norrington was sitting in his chair behind the desk, reviving some documents, signing them with a fountain pen, before placing them in a pile on the side of his desk.

He had a depressed expression on his face as he went through the documents, slowly signing them one by one.

It has been a week since Governor and Elizabeth were kidnapped, he tried to find the leads in search of the pirate who kidnapped Elizabeth.

But he found nothing, which left him to a dead end in his search.

Then there was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Then a soldier came in and saluted.

"Sir, I have a message," he said.

"What is it?"

" Sir, the Governor has returned "

" What did you say ? " asked Norrington as he stood up from his seat with a shocked expression.

"sir it seems Governor was rescued by the pirate who kidnapped Miss Elizabeth "

"Did Elizabeth also return?" asked Norrington

" Yes sir, the pirate was also with her "

" What the pirate came back ? " roared Norrington with an angry expression

"It's true sir, I heard he's going to stay in the governor's mansion"

With a confused expression, Norrington asked, "What in the governor's mansion?". What kind of governor would allow a pirate to stay in the mansion?

" Yes sir I saw him leaving with Governor Swann "

"Then summon soldiers. We are heading to the governor's mansion " ordered Norrinton with a serious face.

"This time I will kill you myself," said Norrington with an angry expression on his face

The governor arranged a lavish lunch to celebrate the occasion of his return and Alex was invited.

However, the Governor was not aware of the tension inside the garrison. and the soldiers who were coming towards the mansion with Norrington as their lead.

The table was filled with a variety of food items, including roasted beef, sweet potatoes, and freshly baked bread. There was also a selection of wines and spirits, as well as other drinks and desserts.

"Please eat to your heart's content," said Governor Swann as he looked at Alex.

Even though Alex is a pirate, he can't show disrespect to the benefactor who saved his life.

"Thank you," said Alex and he also started eating.

"Is the food to your liking?" asked Elizabeth who was sitting next to Alex

"Yes it's delicious "

As Alex was eating he heard many footsteps coming from outside the door. He also saw soldiers coming with guns, and he could tell that they were coming for him.

Suddenly, soldiers surrounded the table with guns and pointed them at Alex. Elizabeth and the governor were utterly stunned by the sudden appearance of soldiers.

Governor stood up with an angry expression and said

"How dare you point your guns at my guests?"

"Who allowed you to come here?" asked the governor with an angry expression

"I allowed it, Governor," said Norrington as he slowly walked towards the table.

"Commodore, what is this?"

"We are catching a dangerous pirate, who is deceiving the governer and Elizabeth," said Norrington with an angry expression as he looked at Alex who was eating calmy even surrounded by soldiers.

"He is my guest, and he is also my saviour"

"You can't do this?"

"Governor, how can you get deceived by this pirate?"

"He may be the one who ordered the pirates to do it and saved you from it. It may be the entire plan of him "

"Commodore he is not that type of person," said Elizabeth who didn't like Norrington badmouthing Alex.

"Elizabeth you should not trust a pirate," said Norrington as he looked at Elizabeth.

"He is not like other pirates," said Elizabeth

"Commodore, you should get out even though he is a pirate," said the governor with an angry expression. Even though the other part is a pirate, he cannot disrespect the invited guest.

"He is my guest now, you can't arrest him."

"Governor harbouring a pirate is a crime. Do you want to be punished for this?" Norrington threw a threat at the governor without fearing the governor's authority.

"Commodore you can't do this," said Elizabeth defending Alex.

"Elizabeth why are you defending a pirate?"

"It is none of your business."

Seeing Elizabeth defend Alex, Norrington's eyes were filled with jealousy as he saw that Elizabeth had feelings for Alex.

Seeing that the woman he loved was showing affection to someone else, Norrington was filled with jealousy and anger.

Due to anger, Norrington lost his composure, and his face flushed red with rage. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, and he was unable to control his emotions.

In anger, he ordered his men to fire.

"Soldiers shot him."

"Noooooo " shouted Elizabeth.
