"Aren't those just legends?" asked Elizabeth with a questioning gaze.

"No, those are real."

"This medallion is one of the 882 gold coins of the lost treasure of Hernán Cortés"

"Then what is the speciality of this?" asked Elizabeth as she was interested in the story of the lost treasure.

"Do you want to know ?" asked Alex

"yes, it is interesting "

"Then you have to know about Cortés"

"Cortés had accepted the treasure as payment to prevent the Fall of Tenochtitlan, but did not fulfil his part of the bargain"

"This caused the anger of the Aztec gods"

"Then who found this treasure?" asked Elizabeth, as she saw the medallion in her hand.

"I don't know, but whoever took this treasure was cursed, wandering around the sea to find a way to lift the curse," said Alex.

"Do you think those cursed people exist?" asked Elizabeth as she remembered the mysterious ship she saw before.

"Yes, they exist," said Alex

"There are many mysteries in the seas, many treasures."

"So mister, have you seen any of those treasures?" asked Elizabeth.

"No"

"Then why do you believe in them?"

"It doesn't mean they don't exist just because we didn't see them."

"you will also understand it in the future, and take care of this medallion "

"Because someone will come for it in the future," said Alex with a mysterious expression.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Elizabeth.

"You will know it, let's meet in the future," said Alex as he saw the ship approaching the harbour.

"Goodbye little Elizabeth," said Alex and disappeared with a blue flash leaving Elizabeth stunned.

"What happened? How did that person disappear?" she thought as she watched Alex disappear and left a deep impression on her.

In Port Royal,

"So there are still eight years before the plot starts. What do I do?"

"Shall I meet Jack?" he thought as he looked around the port.

Port Royal was bustling with sailors, merchants, traders and adventurers, each with their own tales of the sea. He watched them with interest, wondering if any of them could provide a clue as to what he should do next.

Then he approached a small ship which was ready to sail.

"I would like to meet the captain of the ship," said Alex to the sailor of the ship who was loading supplies.

"Why do you think I would do something like that?" asked the worker, not responding to Alex.

"If you call him I will give you this," said Alex showing a gold coin in his hand.

Seeing the gold coin the worker stopped what he was doing and ran to call their captain

"Sure enough no one can resist the temptation of gold," said Alex as he saw the sailor.

After some time a person came with the sailor

"Sir, this is our captain," said the sailor

"Here take it," said Alex as he threw the gold coin.

"Thank you, sir."

"So you are the captain of the ship?"

"Yes,what do you want to talk about?" asked the captain

"I want to go to Tortuga," said Alex

"What?"

"Why do you want to go there?" asked the captain, not understanding why someone would want to go to the pirate lair.

"To meet someone"

"We don't go there," said the captain rejecting Alex

"I can pay you," said Alex showing a pouch of gold coins

"Do you still refuse?"

"No, just board the ship, we'll take you there," the captain hastily replied upon seeing the gold in Alex's pouch.

Even though he is afraid to go there, he can't miss this golden opportunity

After some days

Near Tortuga.

After setting sail, the weather was pleasant and the crew made steady progress. The captain navigated the ship skillfully and eventually, they spotted the coastline of Tortuga. Alex disembarked at the port while the crew continued their journey.

Tortuga was a notorious port for pirates in the Caribbean, and Alex was eager to explore it. He wandered the streets, meeting people and learning about the local culture. As the sun set, it was clear that Alex had found a strange and exciting new world.

In the bar

Alex found himself in a smoke-filled tavern. The air was thick with the smell of rum and the sounds of laughter and music. He saw a variety of people, from sailors and merchants to rogues and rascals.

Alex inquired about Jack Sparrow and found that his whereabouts were unknown.

Seeing that he was not getting any useful information about Jack Alex decided to visit some places in search of Jack and also have some fun.
