Chapter 28: Saving Angela Part 1

"Think about it for a second."

"Do you think Umbrella doesn't know that there are survivors and they will try to escape from this city? There will be security at escape routes."

"We more than likely can't escape using the normal route, so we can only follow Dr. Ashford's plan."

"Although I can take all of you, I cannot ignore Dr. Ashford and his daughter. I've got to save him so he can create an antivirus."

"I agree with him," said Jill.

"I also agree with him," Terry Morais added.

"It seems like everyone agrees," said Alice.

"Now we need to find a vehicle for travel."

"There is no need for that. This bus will do the work."

As the bus moved, Alex controlled it with telekinesis.

"How many things can you do?" asked Jill.

"Yes, who are you?"

"Didn't I already say; a dragon from a fairy tale?"

"Stop joking."

"Do I look like I'm joking?" said Alex with a smile.

"Yes," they all said.

"Okay, I have many abilities. I lost count of them."

"So, how much power do you have?" asked Jill curiously.

"Strong enough to crush this city."

"Then why can't you escape with your power?"

"I can't control it well. If it gets out of control, you can say goodbye to your country."

"Is it that serious?"

"Yes, you can think of it like a dam. I am suppressing my powers and if I lose control, and the dam breaks, there will be destruction."

What Alex is saying is true. He is new to his powers, and he blocked telepathy because of its power, which made him lose his mind. Don't compare Alex to Charles Xavier from X-Men. Charles' rank of telepathy is A, while Alex's telepathy rank is S, which is a whole level higher than Charles's. Also, Charles trained for many years to control his abilities, and Alex did not have that much time, so he cannot use his abilities to their full potential.

"So, Alex, what is your age?"

"Yes, Alex, you look so young," said Alice, suddenly becoming interested.

"You may not believe me."

"I am 36 years old."

"What? Then how can you look 21?" asked Terry.

"Well, it is a secret."

"I am jealous of your face that did not age," said Jill.

At the same time...

A shout came from in front of the bus.

"Hey, stop, please."

A black, slim man with curly hair started waving his two hands in front of the bus. Seeing this, Alex thought, "I changed the plot, but it didn't change the group's encounter with him. It seems like we cannot change some things, like the virus outbreak."

Alex opened the door.

"Hey, can you please give me a lift? I assure you I haven't got bitten anywhere," said the man.

"You can get in."

After he got in, the door closed by itself, and the bus started moving.

"Hello, my name is Lloyd Jefferson. You can call me LJ or anything you want."

"Why is this bus moving without any start of the engine?"

And he continued asking questions. Hearing this, everyone became annoyed and said, "Shut up, or we will throw you out."

"Relax. Why is everyone so angry?"

Along the journey, he didn't say anything, and soon they arrived at Angela's school.

"So, this is her school?" asked Jill.

"Yes, apparently, according to Dr. Ashford, she's trapped here too," said Alice.

"Let's go and save her and get out of here," said Payton.

"Can anyone tell me why we are here?" asked LJ, not understanding the situation.

"We are here to rescue someone's daughter who can help us leave this city in return," said Alex. Soon, all of them entered the school.

"We will all divide and search across the school," said Jill.

"I have a better plan," said Alex, wanting to use telepathy since there are fewer people here.

"What is your plan?"

"Nothing, just wait and see."

"System, unblock the telepathy."

[Ding, telepathy unlocked.]

As the notification sound came to his mind, various thoughts of others entered Alex's mind. His forehead became covered with sweat, and his breathing became rapid. Because of his bloodline, which enhances his talents, Alex soon began to feel all the people and zombies. He also saw Carlos and his partner, and he saw Angela hiding in the classroom. With a command, all the zombies in the school died.

[Killed 89 zombies and earned 80 shop points.]

Opening his eyes, Alex felt weak and said, "Alice, can you come here for a moment?"

Alice came to Alex's side, and Alex put one hand on her shoulder for support.

"All the zombies in the school are dead, and Angela is on the first floor in the classroom, hiding. There are also two guys in the kitchen," he said as he took out the antivirus he obtained from the Hive.

"I will take a nap as I overused my power," saying that, Alex lost consciousness. The use of telepathy had put a great strain on Alex's brain.

"What happened to him?" asked Jill, seeing Alex losing consciousness.

"Nothing, he used his power too much and needs some sleep," said Alice, hugging Alex with a smile while rubbing his face.

"You love him, don't you?" asked Terry.

"Yes, from the moment I met him," said Alice with a smile.

"He said Angela is on the first floor, and all the zombies in the school are now dead. Bring her, and I will take care of him," said Alice with a smile while looking at Alex, who was sleeping comfortably in her hands.
