To the world, the Alfin saga has come to an end. The enemies won and now it was time for revenge. This is how most of the players treated his story.

Because at the end of the day, this was a game and had an ongoing storyline created by devs. And Alfin's abduction was always going to happen after his purpose was accomplished.
