I understand what you mean. This story is my first attempt at writing anything, and I've been trying to improve as I go. When I read the starting chapters back, I too, feel like they're missing a lot of stuff, like world-building(which I've gotten comments on multiple times), and the System interference seeming forced. I'll probably rewrite the chapters after I'm finished with my exams, and hopefully you find them better, if you do decide to revisit this story. I understand what you mean. While re-reading the earlier chapters, it's clear where I went wrong. As for world-building, I'm still learning how to do that xD. I see what you mean. What I was trying to do was to show that our MC cares about no one but a few people, a twisted sense of love, one might call it. However, it seems that the way I presented it was... bad. Well, all I can do now is try to fix it when I rewrite the chapters, and I'll try my best for that.
