Chapter 63 (I'm watching Doctor House RN; too lazy to make a title)

The bubbling and sparkling girl from before didn't look like Dante remembered; her presence was both familiar and unsettling. He couldn't help but say her name out loud to confirm that it was really her, "Katley?"

Katley's response carried a hint of irritation, her voice mixed with concern and confusion. "Dante, what on earth happened to you?"

Dante's attention shifted from the bustling place surrounding him to his arms, his gaze narrowing as he scrutinized them. His fingers delicately traced over his skin. "Oh? This? I had to do it, too, you know... blend with humans!"

Katley, in a rush to find the answer to her last question, the girl leaned in closer to touch Dante, presenting an abnormally strong grip that quite surprised him, "Does it run by a time??? Is it a skill??? Is it reversible???!!!" for some unexplainable reason she seemed extremely panicked about this turn of events.

Dante's response was casual, almost dismissive, as he took a leisurely sip of the wine he had recently bought, "I think so."

Meanwhile, the woman's demeanor underwent a subtle shift, her expression softened with a heavy sigh of relief coupled with a graceful inclination of her head, "That's all I need to know. Have a nice day, Dante. I need to prepare for the next event, and I'm extremely busy."

Before leaving, she turned back, her facial features lightening with a touch of playful curiosity. She inquired, her gaze descending upon Dante with a spark of anticipation, "Ah! Are you perhaps going to the event?"

Dante, not knowing much because he recently came back from the world, asked with confusion, "What event?"

Observing his obliviousness with mild amusement, she couldn't help but chuckle softly at his reply, "A pity, but don't worry, just don't die, and I hope to see you soon."

Perplexed by her cryptic remarks, Dante watched as she disappeared into the crowd again with her indescribable motion; while watching her fade in the distance, he couldn't help but say, "Is almost as if she didn't walk..."

As Dante approached the restaurant, the captivating aroma of sizzling spices and savory dishes floated through the air. Was not for the Heavenly Restriction, then he would have never perceived this entire hidden-in-plain-sight world.

Standing just outside the restaurant entrance, Dante leaned casually against the warm, pristine wall, where he wasn't blocking the passage, his gaze drifting over the bustling street before him; he murmured to himself, his voice barely audible above the din of the city. "That interaction was extremely weird."

He was still an hour earlier than they accorded to; in the meantime, to kill boredom, he continued exploring possible transformations till he found an interesting one that caught his attention.

"Sunset Shimmer"

The character was reasonably good, coupled with the vibrant portrayal that caught his eye, but what called upon him was her fiery orange hair, reminding him about the weird encounter of minutes ago with Katley. Sunset Shimmer's abilities seemed really good, and her stats, while they weren't the great thing, were an incredibly helpful boost.

"I-" A sudden realization struck him like a bolt of lightning, causing Dante to pause mid-thought. He mused aloud, "Wait a minute... I never told her my name!!!" A sense of unease crept over him, mingling with the remnants of his half-drunk state. "I think...?"

After pondering it, he convinced himself with a faint smirk playing at the corners of his lips, dismissing the notion with a nonchalant wave of his hand. "Nah, probably I did; if not, how could she know it."

Dante, with that finished, went for the main dish; he hadn't been here for a while to the point where there would be a lot of scraps to sell. Dante said, "System, open my inventory."

The blue page unfurled, illuminating his face, and Dante's view was full of cheap and common objects, "Sell everything that won't be useful, and it's "easy" to get in drops."

90% of the stuff in his inventory suddenly disappeared, leaving only items worthy of consideration and usage. Dante began to sift through the remaining items one by one, each one at least being worth a ton of gold.

Among the spoils of his arduous work appeared a costly and hard-worked reward: 'Gojo's clan technique.' Despite its undeniable value, Dante wasted no time in making his decision. he declared, his voice resolute in its conviction. "Sell it!"

The automatic system to prevent errors activated, "Are you sure?"

Dante doesn't possess a single drop of cursed energy, and the probability of learning how to manipulate it turned to 0%. When he decided to seal his fate by using the Restriction.

He turned to the next object. The words, 'Reversed cursed technique,' filled the blue screen, to which Dante quickly issued his thoughts, "You already know what to do... SELL IT!"

He accepted the warning sign, skipping to the next item, and the inventory prompted a curious name. Right now, Dante wondered from where did he got the next item, "True Hate potion."

Curiosity piqued within him, and Dante's eyes narrowed as he examined the peculiar item in his inventory. Confused, he asked, "Uh...? system, why do I have this?"

In response, the System wasted no time in providing an explanation, its voice echoing in Dante's mind. "It's the reward for sealing Satorou Gojo,"

Dante's confusion only deepened at the revelation. He murmured, "But I killed him..."

The System clarified the situation with a simple explanation. "And you sealed him also."

Choosing to ignore the weird loophole, Dante decided to ask the important question, "Can I read the description of this?"

'This nefarious potion is a masterful blend of the darkest emotions, distilled into a single vial. The True Hate Potion embodies the pure essence of animosity, specifically tailored for the aspect of Aqarath. Its swirling, shadowy liquid seems to pulsate with a life of its own as if eager to unleash its contained fury. Upon use, it will refill your hate bar. *Note this won't work unless you have the upgrade: Eros and Eris in your skill tree*.'

Taking into account the ordeal it was to get this, plus that the item was specifically tailored for him, Dante inquired with slight anticipation, "What does it do?"

The System explained, "It instantly refills the hate bar if you possess the upgrade Eros and Eris to unleash it in a huge short-term power boost."

Dante's mind raced with possibilities of the antithesis of LOVE, envisioning the raw, visceral black destruction that pulsed within the insides of the potion; he mused while being slightly mesmerized and repulsed by the alluring object, "So essentially, I am weaponizing emotions? Curious... Really curious... But, bring me the next item!"

The System began describing it, "Domain expansion-"

"DANTE!!!"

Before he could delve deeper into the implications of his discovery, Dante was interrupted by a familiar voice calling out his name. Turning, he was met by the sight of a different girl, her presence as gentle as the flutter of a snow-white moth.

Just as she appeared, she jumped at him for a hug with the four of her arms, "Hello~." A smile spread across his lips as she enveloped him in a warm embrace. Dante felt a powdery texture coupled with a lot of tiny filaments that felt like small hairs, probably thanks to his enhanced perception.

As Su Yuan pulled away from the hug, her eyes sparkled with curiosity, and a myriad of questions exited her lips like cascading water. "Long time we don't see, almost a whole month, how was the world you visited? Were you in trouble? Did you find tasty food?"

Dante said while a lot of players walked beside them, "Don't worry, I'll tell y'all everything. We need to wait for the others. I don't want to re-tell the same stories over and over, tho; I could! But I won't!"

Daniel appeared, yawning with dark circles in his eyes; from the looks on his face, the last night was a tumultuous one; with stiffness, he said, "What is the matter?"

"Let's go!" Dante urged, his voice brimming with excitement as he ushered Su Yuan and Daniel. Dante, in a hurry, quickly grabbed Su Yuan and Daniel, bringing them inside the restaurant.
