7 Chapter 05 WAR!
I open my eyes, and what greets me is pure chaos. Screams and sounds in all directions, and a cold and despairing feeling saturates the environment with unpleasantness, the smell of flesh and dirt invades the air
"SOLDIER! What are you doing there? You want to get shot?" a voice cuts through the chaos, snapping me back to reality
Huh? Dante was confused, barely having a grip on reality
This pony's eyes are filled with urgency and concern without asking anything more, he grabs my foreleg and pulls me with him
???: "Hey, what's wrong with you? Why are you stunned like that?"
"Shit..., explain it later on, we have to move, we're in the artillery's sights", my mind is trying to comprehend what it's happening
"Artillery????" I stammer, glancing at my uniform, resembling those used in WW2, with some crystalline "decorations" that set them apart from the original. My rifle is the most different, looking like a fusion between magic and science
"Artillery on the way, Formation A-14!" As he screams, a multicolored barrier begins to cover most of the trench where I stand.
*BOOM*
"Reporting damage scale, medium! We lost our last unicorn! The unicorn who summoned the barrier was shot in the head by a Sniper"
"MEDIC! I NEED A MEDIC!"
"MY EYES!!!"
Shouts of all types could be heard, the smell of gunpowder and blood filled the air, and lifeless bodies surrounded me
"EVERYONE IN POSITION! According to the Air recon, it is possible that the changelings are charging towards us with tanks,"
A voice on the radio starts speaking, "We have naval superiority, disputing air superiority. We will try to bombard the area from the coast, I repeat..."
What is happening? Why am I here? Shouldn't I be in with the Gorgo-
A slap on my face brings me back to the world "Hey girl, get bloody going"
A voice, which I recognize it's Applejack

Applejack: "Look, girl, you'll die if you don't bloody move,"
The only thing that comes from my mouth is, "sorry?…"
She sighed, then grabbed me, Her strength surprised me "Girl, just point your gun there and shoot. That's all you need"
"Ok..." I tried to take out my weapon, but I couldn't
Applejack: "So, you're a constricted soldier, huh? If someone like you is here then, we are running out of pony-power," I could see the concern on her face
Applejack: "Don't worry, this gal will help you"
Our radio starts to speak "Hold onto, Project love will be there as soon as possible"
What??? What does that mean?
Applejack: "Girl,just aim, Shoot a few bullets at the trench, get cover, reload, and repeat don't forget to swap your position"
I do as she says

"Your aim is terrible, But don't worry" Applejack remarks then a bullet lands close to me, knocking my helmet off
"Wait you, you are actually a unicorn?!" Applejack was surprised by this
"Uh, yes?"
Applejack: "Then why bloody hell are yo-" her voice is cut off by the radio "ACCORDING to our information, a chemical attack is coming with a push from the east, We lack unicorns, PREPARE for the final stand'"
Most of the ponies start moving, while a small amount start to retreat
I could see a big smile on Applejack's face, she started to reach for her waist and equipped her gas mask. "Hey, girl, I need you to be prepared to donate"
"Donate?" Dante wondered what doe she meant by that???
Applejack is perplexed by the actions of the higher-ups "Wow, they really just took a civilian and gave them a weapon even if you are a unicorn it doesn't make sense"
"Look, girl, this place is gonna be reduced to ashes pretty soon Those guys are gonna kamikaze themselves, and you are a unicorn"
"What does it have to do with me being a unicorn?"
"REALLY? For celestia sakes"
Applejack is really surprised about this unicorn it's the first time that she has met someone like her, and she can't be a changeling no spy is that stupid "you are one of the only ones who can use heavy weaponry"
My face went blank

In the command station
Commander: How many unicorns"
"None reported alive, sir"
Commander: "We wont be able to hold on, tell them to cancel project lov-"
"HEY! I've got another unicorn here" screams Applejack to the commander
"Wait I Ne-"
Commander: "Quick, put your hooves here!"
Ugh what did Applejack get me into? I did what he said, the moment my hoove touched the weird artifact, I could feel it, draining me to the ground
Applejack: "Wow girl that's a lot of magic you barely used it" Even in her gas mask I could see her smile
My body starts to shake, and I feel like I will fall at any moment
Applejack: "Are you okay, girl?"
"Yeah, just tir- woah!" Applejack grabs me and puts me on her back how ironic, a pony riding a pony, wait that sounds bad
Applejack: "Sir, my FRIEND and I ask permission to retreat"
The commander thinks about it for a few seconds. 2 ponies may not be a big difference but they are short of soldiers
Commander: "Before I let you go, Eat this," he gave Applejack a rare fruit that seemed to be artificially created because of the heart shape
Applejack ate it with no problem and even seemed to enjoy it
Applejack: "I'm not a changeling Sir"
Commander: "Permission granted"
Applejack: "Thank you, sir."
Applejack exits the place with me in her back
"Hey, is it easy to retire from the front?"
Applejack: "What? Of course not, they let us go because you're a unicorn
"What's with being a unicorn?"
Applejack seemed perplexed by my question, then she answered me "haven't you heard it, 100 ponies are worth 1 unicorn"
I didn't say much after that
After ten minutes of AJ running at full speed, we arrive at a location where an airship awaits us, Inside, I see more ponies, most of them in need of medical attention. They all appear to be earth ponies, some of them throw me glances as if they don't want me here
"Uh…" Did I do something wrong?
"Don't worry, it's normal. Just ignore them, By the way, I never introduced myself. My name is Applejack
Both of us go to our seats, and the sound of the engine starts filling the space around us
"Nice to meet you too, I am Rarity," Dante used the name of this body because It would make the most sense
Applejack: "Rarity huh, I would have loved to know you if this war didn't happened. You seem like a good unicorn, unlike those fuckers who believe they're at the top and behave like lil bitches"
Who would see it coming? Equestria has racism now That's something I didn't knew
" I've been wondering this for a while Why did you help me?"
Applejack: "I-I wanted to use you as a ticket to get out, and you seemed familiar"
Wow, at least she is honest I'll just ignore the first part
"Familiar? Like if we've met before?"
Applejack:"Yes, are you from Ponyville?"
"Yes I am, I made dresses and clothes," Dante might not know too much about MLP, but he knew a few things about the characters
Applejack "Oh, wait, now I remember. You had a shop,"
"Yes…" Fuck, Please don't ask me more things I barely know about rarity
"We kept chatting about other things." After not revealing much about my past I think Applejack misunderstood it, but thanks to that, it saved me a lot of problems
Applejack is quite lovely, and we became friends after a few hours of chatting, our talks were mainly her telling me about stuff and things about her life
After telling her some of my concerns, she puts her hand on my back, trying to offer reassurance, "Don't worry, Rarity the war is almost over, after this war ends you know, ¿would you like to know my family? We make the best Apple-"
A sudden, deafening explosion in the distance interrupts our conversation
Everyone rushed to the window to see what caused it
An enormous explosion of unprecedented scale forms a heart-shaped cloud visible from hundreds of miles away
Was that a nuclear explosion?
"That technophile did it" says Applejack with a tinge of bitterness in her tone
"Do you know who made that?"
"You are from Ponyville right, do you remember Twilight the purple unicorn who came to learn about I think it was friendship?"
"Yes...?"
"It was only rumors so not many believed it, They said that Twilight was trying to create one of the most powerful weapons in Ponykind, but she failed so many times that no one actually expected something of her except Celestia, She kept going and finally presented the weapon finished a few weeks ago"
Dante Yawns "that sounds interesting but perhaps we can talk about it later on"
Applejack: "You seem tired, sugarcube"
"Yes... I am physically and mentally exhausted, this place really drained me of everything Now, if you don't mind me I'm going to embrace the realm of dreams...

AUTHORS NOTE:
What is the reason of this chapter? I "honestly" forgot that MLP is a "kids show" from the perspective of the majority, like if not because of a comment i would have completly forgotten about it
also trying things i learned in videos :3 i still feel everything hollow compared to how i imagine it, but it's hard to describe it, if it takes too much perhaps it would be tedious, in a fight describing every little action takes away the "action"
anyways if u liked this more, tell me and i'll rewrite the first chapters so they look more like this (i'll do it most probably but i'm questioning how much should i change and no the plot is going to be the same i'll just add MORE DETAILS MORE DESCRIPTIONS AND MOAR)
(Reason? this type of writing use too much the word "I" and you know, using I many times it's wrong?)
(also i didn't want to search for every word that's why applejack talks... normally)
