I pressed on the information panel to look at my current stat attributes while using the thumb of my other hand to brush away all the unnecessary breadcrumbs at the corners of my mouth.

"It's time to grind but I must prepare well since it's going to get... dangerous."

I needed something stimulating to be able to use all of my bodily strength.

"I must procure the necessary materials needed to build my first Jaeger prototypes."

"And in huge bulks per see."

I dropped myself on a black leather office chair as I constantly rolled around in it with my eyes closed in thoughts.

When I opened my eyes, I already had an evil idea in my mind.

"It seems that what I am about to do will cause global mayhem."

I wanted to hack several banks to fund my research.

I could accumulate the necessary funds with time to support my research but what I didn't have was... TIME.

I required lots of money since my experiments weren't guaranteed to begin with a 100% success rate.

There would be a couple of failures and a waste of resources in the process of trying to create the prototypes.

The Jaeger Program was so expensive.

"Robbing banks is the fastest way to get rich easily but my past self would have laughed off at what I am about to do."

In my previous life, I had all the time but now, in my current situation, there is no time to jump straight into building a profitable company from scratch.

"By the way, I don't think I need to use my hands to hack those internal domains of the National banks. Don't I have a suitable AI just right for the job?" I then abruptly sprung up to my feet.

"Yelena, can you do me a little favor?" I said to the thin air.

I smiled when I saw the projection of her holographic figure starting to form.

"Sir, you are my creator. Why are you even asking for my permission?" Her usual female speech module is reminiscent of a cold battle maid.

'Tsk, tsk just like a caring maid who will always put their master's needs first.' I thought in amusement.

While feigning a fake cough, I spoke about my evil plan.

"So it was such a simple request. Sir, I thought you wanted me to hack reality but it was bypassing flimsy human security systems." I could feel the sarcasm and boundless pride oozing from her voice.

She was so complex that you might have thought she was a human instead of an AI.

Mimicking human emotions was so easy for her.

And seriously, hacking reality, huh? Where did you get such an idea, Yelena?

"Leave that to me, Sir. Just a few seconds will do."

And just like she had said, it only took her a few seconds to devastate the accounts of various major banks across America, Europe, and Asia.

Multi-Trillion-dollar private companies weren't spared, either.

And when I looked at the balance in my absolutely untraceable Swiss bank account...

"This puts a smile on my face." I couldn't stop myself from accessing the Geek quantum force.

My actions had consequences but those consequences weren't mine to suffer from but the affected banks, companies, and their affiliates.

"Rob both the rich and the poor. That's what balance entails. Thank you, Yelena."

Flash check... I was not Robinhood.

And I started working right away.

Currently, I don't have the fighting skills to fully utilize my strength efficiently.

Techniques are what made a fighter more lethal and versatile during a battle.

Brute strength would only take you so far.

Unless one had absolute strength where there was no use in resistance during a fight, battle intelligence and techniques would be very helpful during life-and-death scenarios.

I took the Full Dive Nervegear from the inventory and placed it on the table.

The VR headset from Sword Art Online looked cool.

I traced my hand along its plastic edges as numerous ideas started popping up in my head.

A 3D model of a brain seemed to be slowly rotating in my mind's eye.

All the knowledge I had on Advanced Neuroscience was put into action.

A light bulb went on in my head.

I had an ingenious idea.

"Virtual Neural memory transference."

My eyes went crazy as I hurriedly started disassembling the Nervegear after learning its make-up.

I then reassembled it into a completely different model.

At the table was an amazing light helmet with a futuristic design.

"Memory Infusion Nervegear."

This new gadget could also be operated by my AI and her help was crucial in what I was about to do.

I created it while using the fantastic ideas from the Accel World and Cyberpunk edgerunners.

Accel World's Neuro linker could enable its user to directly interact with the Virtual Reality, the Net-verse while the Chipware cybernetic technology from Cyberpunk edgerunners could help me in neural memory transference.

Before putting on the Nervegear, I took some intuitive measures.

While Yelena was managing the mass buying of the resources I needed for my upcoming project, I decided to create my own healing pod with the properties of the regeneration cradle.

It incorporated nanotechnology and could facilitate tissue regeneration.

The healing pod was there to serve as my lifesaver in case I suffered a negative eventuality.

"Yelena, the situation demands your attention," I called out to her.

"I need you to supervise my vitals and disconnect me from the Nervegear in case of a malfunction that may prove detrimental to my health," I said with a smile etched on my face.

I was confident in my abilities yet still cautious.

Project 'INFINITUS' humbled me.

As for the smile, it was caused by the dopamine rush whenever I indulged myself in anything crazy.

"Martial arts, here we go." I sat on my seat while putting on the Nerve Gear helmet.

I felt my consciousness fade away as I slept.

I found myself in another world; Virtual Reality, the Net-verse.

The virtual world was truly beautiful and I realized I was interacting with it via an avatar.

It felt real, like some sort of simulated reality.

Instead of wasting time while admiring everything, I started to take files, from videos to texts of generalized martial arts techniques. There were many types of martial arts but I only took the ones that interested me.

I took the Virtual memories of Karate, Taekwondo, Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kenjutsu, Kickboxing, and Tai Chi.

The moment I touched those strings of data, I felt foreign memories seeping deep into my Neural network and settling in my mind as if they had always been a part of me.

It felt unreal and uncomfortable but nothing bad happened.

This meant the Memory Infusion Nervegear(M.I.N) was an utter success.

When I was done with everything, I disconnected myself from the virtual world and removed the helmet from my head.

"Hahaha, my brain wasn't fried." I laughed dryly but did an internal sigh of relief nonetheless.

I stood and tried to do a front kick.

At first, my mind-body coordination seemed out of place, like I was doing something my body wasn't used to.

Luckily it didn't take long before I adapted to the martial arts movement.

From basic kata, sidekicks, roundhouse kicks, and many other moves that I had merged into my memories, I gradually became a dangerous fighter.

During my martial arts training, I had an epiphany.

My mind and body became totally synchronized, and I became one with the Martial Dao.

Haha, I know, I know, this world wasn't a cultivation-based one but I just couldn't extricate myself from kicking and punching the air until it trembled.

I was casually generating wind pressure as if it was nothing.

My clothes were all sweaty, an indication that I needed a cold bath. But the good thing is that my body fragrance remained fresh and slightly pheromonic, something that could potentially make the female species have unholy thoughts.

Yeah, women were a totally different species.

My hair was wet and some of the loose strands were sticking to my forehead.

I bet I now had that wet and sexy hair look.

"This is only the start of the grind."

I had to install a bathroom close to my workspace.
