another month flew by since the academy spars, Iruka informed them that the class would have one academy spar session every month.

at first, Shikari wasn't happy about that but thinking about it carefully it is beneficial for students to have taijutsu spars often, and since he has an SSS talent in taijutsu his gain from the spars is more than anyone else.

Shikari decided to rest from his hectic training plan and just focused on cooking, calligraphy, and growing his chakra pool which was a genin's level a few months ago but now it's a chunin's level.

Shikari was slightly closer to succeeding in his plan.

on a particular Friday Shikari found that he had nothing to do so he decided it was time to use his calligraphy talent to the max.

several hours later Shikari stopped not because he wanted to but because his ink had run out, so he went out to buy some more, and on the way, people greeted him like a celebrity some even complimenting him!

Shikari couldn't be happier not because of the compliments but because he met a particular copycat.

Shikari after entering the store run by tenten's father, saw a white silver-haired figure standing there talking with tenten's father.

"oh, Shikari! what brings you here? want more Ink?" tenten's father a long-bearded man standing at the tall height of 6'4 asked.

"Yes, more Ink please."

the man went to the back of the store to grab more Ink leaving Kakashi and Shikari alone for some time.

"I have heard a lot about you." started Kakashi trying to break the awkward silence.

"Oh! that's a surprise coming from you Hatake Kakashi the copy ninja!" Shikari surprised replied.

"it seems like you did your research eh?"

Shikari nodded affirmatively.

Shikari couldn't waste the opportunity so he asked: "Umm.....can I please see your famous lightning style: Chidori?"

Kakashi put his hand on his chin in a thinking position and then finally nodded.

"After you get your Ink from Hitoshi-San I'll show you it outside."

Hitoshi returned with the Ink and then gave it to Shikari for free saying it was on the house.

then came the highlight of the day.

Ox → Rabbit → Monkey.

"Raiton: Chidori!"

then came the chirping sound of a thousand birds.

Shikari grinned like a Cheshire cat seeing the system notification, another SSS talent!

he is getting really lucky with those talent collections.

after saying farewell to Kakashi, Shikari returned home and continued training in calligraphy until midnight.

the next day Shikari was feeling really happy, why?

first off he brought his latest written sentence to get graded by the teachers at the academy and those were their reactions.

"I have never in my life seen better handwriting than this!"

"Have you been training in calligraphy since you were born?!"

then came Iruka.

"Shikari I didn't know you were that good at calligraphy! you know if you wanted you could start practicing Fuinjutsu!"

"Well, I plan on doing that."

"But, I want you to keep training calligraphy until you perfect it since doing that would make accidents in fuinjutsu less frequent and less dangerous, so I advise you to keep at training calligraphy until you're eight." Iruka advised.

Shikari sighed dejectedly he wanted to start delving into fuinjutsu now but Iruka's words put a quick stop to that.

"Ok, Iruka-Sensei." Shikari accepted without trying, he knew Iruka was right he could get himself killed while training fuinjutsu.

"Good now go away I am really busy right now!" Iruka shooed him out of his office as Shikari went back to class after the lunch break ended.

when Shikari returned home he realized his progress in chakra control was stagnating so he decided to finally take a big step into chakra control.

Shikari sat on his bed in front of him many leaves.

he picked one up and brought it to his forehead directing his chakra there and...

"BOOM"

the leaf was blown in an instant, he had used too much chakra.

Shikari tried again this time using less chakra and successfully stuck it to his forehead.

"one down nine remaining!"

Shikari tried sticking more leaves on his forehead while already having a leaf stuck to it.

after more tries, Shikari was able to stick all the leaves on his forehead.

"Thanks, chakra control talent."

if sakura could stick to a tree in a few tries why couldn't he stick some leaves to his forehead?

Shikari felt delighted after completing a chakra control exercise something which he idiotically ignored.

the next day Shikari bought a Chakra paper to test his affinities something he had already done.

*flashback*

'i wonder what my chakra affinity is' and with that thought Shikari decided to buy test his chakra attribute.

after putting a small slither of chakra into the paper Shikari watched the paper carefully.

the paper split in two

a half caught on fire and turned to ash.

the other half turned to dirt and crumbled away.

Fire and earth.

*flashback end*

Shikari did the same process and this time the paper was split into three parts.

a part caught on fire and turned to ash.

another part turned to dirt and crumbled away.

the last part wrinkled with lightning.

fire, earth, and now lightning.

Shikari smiled altho he already expected that outcome he was happy to see it confirmed.

how did he expect it? well, when he collected the talent it said 'lightning release' not lightning style, one could argue they are the same thing-

'so system if I collect a water release talent or a wind release talent they also transform into water/wind style talents?' Shikari asked in his mind.

Shikari understood the system's words like a nerd in a maths class.

so in short the system collects a nature-style talent and adds to it the benefits of having a nature affinity like reduced chakra spending on the jutsus of that style and increased efficiency.

just to be sure Shikari tested his affinities again and still saw the paper wrinkling.

'guess I have to put trying lightning-style jutsus on my list of to-try things'

but for now, Shikari was satisfied with his progress.....for now.
