Chapter - 4 Family and it's Postion

HOKAGE OFFICE

"Team 7 reports Lord Hokage.".

"Ahh, Mazama here to report about your mission and to get your pay ".

Because of the 3rd great ninja war and due to Konoha's losses in personnel and increase in the number of orphans, all the teams are to report their mission completion directly to the HOKAGE, as it helps in motivating the youth to work hard and creates a link between the genins and chunins to the HOKAGE and through which to the village a link of belonging, value, and love, as the HOKAGE always tries to implement these thoughts while talking to them as a subtle type of manipulation for the betterment of the village and reducing the chances of ninjas defecting the village. This is the so-called "will of fire" of Hiruzen. No matter what shit you have been through because of the village or how much it has wronged you or even killed your family, you still want to protect it and, in doing so, give away your life for the village.

"Hmm.... Let me check. The C-Rank mission's pay was 300,000 RYO for guarding the village head from the assassination attempt. The mission was completed perfectly without any injuries as well. " Good job, team 7!" While saying this, Hiruzen hands them the pay, which is divided 55% to the Jonin leader and the rest to the team of Genins.

"Thank you for the praise, Lord Hokage; we shall take our leave now". Hiruzen motions for them to leave, sits down on his chair, lights the pipe after refilling it with tobacco, and reminisces about his old age and his abating power (reducing).

MC POV ---------

I was sleeping when someone suddenly moved me, succeeding in making me cry. I was startled by the movement and seeing an unfamiliar man holding me, and what else do you expect from a baby if not to cry? Hitting him with my soft hands, then no thank you.

Afterward, I heard the sound of someone hitting someone else, and then I saw my mother, who takes me in her arms and gently rocks me while reprimanding the man, which now I know is my father Mazama. Well, he doesn't look that bad—above average, I will say—and my mother is a beauty, so with that, I will also look quite handsome, which is a plus in my book.

"But honey, I was just eager to hold him and didn't want him to cry; it's not my fault".

"It doesn't matter to me what your intention was; you made my baby cry the first thing you did after coming home, for which you get the punishment of doing the dishes for the week," says my mother with an angry look.

"I accept the punishment, so now can I hold him, honey, please?".

"Here you go, and you better not make him cry again because if he does, you are sleeping on the sofa tonight without any food, and we will talk later about your absence while I was giving birth to him". My father nervously nods and takes me from my mother. You can see from his eyes that he is happy holding me, and I don't want to ruin the moment, but I have to pee, and this body can't control much, so sorry dad.

"Uwaa uwaaa uwaa uwaa uwaa uwaa uwaa" (it was supposed to be number 1, why did I do number 2 as well?)

My father's face becomes pale, and he hesitantly looks towards my mother, who, for a change, is not angry. Seeing this, my father lets out his breath and says "Ahh, honey, he has spoiled his diaper and needs a change".

"I know, honey, and why are you asking me to go and change the diapers for him? The new ones are in the cupboard," says my mother with a grin, which challenges anyone to speak up to her.

"Yes, honey, as you say, c'mon little guy, we need to change the big mess".

Hey, it's not my fault; don't need to joke about the embarrassing stuff (but all that could be heard was "gugu gagei").

------------------- After 6 months ----------------

After this long time, I was able to learn about my surroundings and meet some of the main cast. The thing is, my father, Mazama, is being groomed by the Hokage as his next successor. I was so surprised to hear this when my mother and father were discussing it. It turns out my father is a big shot comparable to the 4th HOKAGE, and he even had a nickname during the war, "The Variable."

As in whatever region during the war he was sent, against all the odds he prevailed, and even the worst odds became favourable for the village whenever he was involved. He was even going to be the 4th HOKAGE but was rejected because the elders stated that 2 consecutive HOKAGE from the same clan may arise prejudice and slander the HOKAGE of nepotism; hence, Minato had become the HOKAGE because of that, and this is also the reason why the 3rd is still the HOKAGE after Minato's death and no one new was chosen. My mother is one of the Senju clan members, but because her standing in the clan is low and she only has half Senju blood, she is not considered a member of the clan. She has the power of a mid-tier Jonin.

From the main cast, I have met the INO-SHIKA-CHO team, as their clans are under the Sarutobi clan, and they have given their full support to the Hokage. And I have come to hear a very interesting piece of news that involves me.
