Chapter 15: Escort

Kabel POV

We went back together and saw Estann . He looked at me coldly. I got off the horse and helped Ariadna then suddenly Estann grabbed me by the colar, he looked so angry. But, I didn't even flinched or winked, instead I coldy looked back at him and scoffed .

"Stop it! Estann let him go!"

Ariadna shouted. She got teary eyed , Estann clicked his tongue out of disappointment and immediately apologized to her.

"I'm sorry, I let my jealousy get the better of me."

"Tell me, what is your problem"

"Do not worry, I decided I won't be a nuisance to you from here on out"

He immediately left and Ariadna was trying to chase after him but I stopped her. He needs his own space right now. It is also my fault. Ariadna tried to let go of my grip.

"Let go Kabel, this is not like you "

"Don't chase after him. He needs his own privacy or somethin"

Ariadna looked at Estann who was walking away. I let go of her hand and looked at me angrily. She walked away, leaving me without saying a word. Then suddenly a swift shadow passed by me, It was a man with black hair and has big built.

"Ariadna! My Lady!"

He chased after Ariadna and stopped her. He pulled her into his arms and hugged her, after all that she calmed down and smiled while hugging him. It was later I realized that it was her guardian, Erden. I knew from the start her heart belonged to another. I can only watch them and feel jealous and laugh at it at the same time. Suddenly, Uncle Vard butted in and stood beside me.

"Ain't that one so romantic? step up your game child"

He chuckled and walked away. I wasn't planning on forcing her but this time around I will make it.
