Chapter 67. Helping Matt

"H-How!?" Asked Banner as he checked his hands and feet, the first things that change during his Hulkfication

Bruce finally calmed down as he looked at the person in front of him seriously, nothing else mattered than the fact that he was able to stop the Hulkification.

Seeing that Bruce was finally in the right mindset, Jack put down his wand and extended a hand towards Bruce, and said

"You can get to know about me later from various sources, but what I want to offer you is a safe place, a place where you can be yourself and never worry about going all Hulk" Jack said

"WOULDN'T it be better if there was no Hulk in the first place, and there is no place where I can be myself without worrying about going Hulk every two to three minutes" Bruce said, feeling hurt even thinking about hiding from the world.

Bruce had spent his whole life hiding from the world, to not hurt anyone and to not get hurt as well, the whole world was after him, after the monster inside him. Bruce believed that as long as Hulk was alive, he wouldn't be free.

Jack knew it was pointless to annoy the doctor anymore so he decided to wait and see, he definitely wouldn't let Bruce destroy Harlem. Even if it meant going against the military, Abomination, or the Hulk.

Jack took out a Bracelet from his pouch and handed it to Bruce who looked all confused as he looked at the Bracelet

"It's a special Bracelet, it will try and always keep you calm no matter what, maybe this will better help you achieve your goal when you decide you need my help, just crush those beads and I will come over in an instant," Jack said as he disappeared from view, leaving behind a confused doctor with a magical bracelet in his hands.

Bruce decided to wear the bracelet and look up the information on this guy that just appeared, although he didn't hope to find any info, it would hurt to look. Bruce also decided to go and meet his girlfriend.

Jack kept tailing the doctor for a while before he had to leave to solve a few crimes. If he had the time, he would have kept tailing the doctor but unfortunately, time waited for no one as Jack got a call on his phone.

It was from the Daredevil. Jack was really surprised when he first saw the devil as according to the series, his story began after the first Avengers movie.

putting those thoughts aside, Jack quickly changed into Midoriya(Blitz) and headed for Daredevils location, along the way he changed into Cedric and used apparation to shorten the distance and reached Daredevils location faster.

It was raining and the streets were dark, Jack looked closely and noticed a lone man walking, he seemed to be hurt and had a mask on his face

"Looks like you are really hurt, who did you so good," asked Jack as he held up Matt who was about to fall down

"Yeah, they had knives," Matt told as he tried to stop the bleeding

"That's why I said to get a new costume" Jack answered back as he led Matt to the side and sat him down

"Yeah! like yours is so much better" Matt scoffed before he spat out blood

"Hey! this baby can take on most cold weapons and small firearms really well alright" Jack quipped as he took out a potion from the magic pouch

Matt took one look at the thing and asked

"Is that the miracle drug"

"Hmm"

"You know, the one your friend sells on his website," said Matt as Jack helped him drink it up.

"Yeah, the very same, though it's better to bring you in for a bit of healing and realignment, you are banged up pretty good" Jack too Matt who shook his head

"No...I need to save the kid first"

"What kid?!" Jack asked

"It's the Russians, their men are running a human traffic ring..aghh" Before Matt could explain more, he began to feel hurt, Jack didn't waste any more time and directly transported him to his tech lair.

And changed into Cedric, gave Matt a few spell shots to help him heal better, in moments Matt was as good as new. though he was still extremely tired and didn't have the energy to stand up straight, the spell did that to people.

"So what was it about some kid being kidnapped by the Russians" Jack who went out and came back as Midoriya asked again.

Sometimes it felt really weird for him to take care of so many of his characters, but he was getting used to it

"Hah...thanks," Matt said as he checked his body, all the wounds were gone and he didn't feel hurt as much.it felt magical, perhaps that's why they were called magical or miracle drugs by people, and the best thing was, they were cheap and affordable considering their range of usability.

Matt began explaining everything from the beginning, by the end of it, Jack was as angry as the hulk, the Russians had a special place in his heart ever since that day back in the beginning, those bastards needed to be taught a lesson.

"You rest, I will take them on, let them on know I still haven't forgotten about them, besides there is a favor I need to ask of you," Jack said as he tried to put Matt back to bed,

Matt held Jack by the shoulders as he got back up

"No, I am going with you, besides Hell kitchen is my area of expertise" Matt got up and began to walk ahead of Jack who couldn't help but sigh

"Alright, let's go then" soon enough the both of them got out of the place and made their way back to Hell's Kitchen in search of the boy.

After a while, they went back to the scene, and Matt told Jack about listening to a familiar presence.
