Chapter 192 Sin and the Serpent IV

Jack looked at the rings curiously, specifically the blank one that had no design or anything.

"Yeah, this one, here take it." Tony said as he gave Jack the ring.

Jack looked at it once more and then wore it, Tony was grinning from ear to ear.

"What is this supposed to do? Tony." Jack asked.

"Not now, wait till everyone is here." Said Tony with his hands as well.

Bit by bit, everyone came into the lobby and finally, once everyone gathered, Tony clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.

"All right folks, since you all have been wondering, let's me tell you what is all this." Tony said as he pointed at the ring that everyone had worn.

"This is my latest invention, I have finally been able to put in together the nanotechnology, since not everyone here is a science geek, let me give a demonstration."

Tony then put his hand forward, and touched the top of the ring, a small hum sounded and slowly, nano bots invisible to the naked eyes started gathering on him until they covered his whole body.

Now Tony was in his Iron Man suit, ready to blast and burn his enemies.

"Isn't it cool, I figured I would give you all your outfits in nanobot forms so that if you need to quickly get ready in an emergency, you just need to wear your ring and you are done?" Tony said.

Hawkeyes stood up first,

"Alright lemme try." he said.

he was currently in his normal clothes, as soon as he said that and touched the ring, bots started to swarm his body and in no time he was dressed in what Jack could only call, perfection, that would easily handle blasts and cuts, plus the arrows were replenishable, though Jack didn't understand how that was possible.

Were the bots capable the reproduction and so they don't run out or what.

"You should have gone with energy arrows, that way he won't run out or encounter problems."

"Yeah I could, but I don't want my reactor in the hands of shield." Tony said as a matter of fact.

"Thanks, Tonny, appreciate it" Hawkeye thanked Tony as he sat down.

Everyone tried on their suit, and once they were done, they left to do their own preparations.

Jack went back to the lair and told the others that he won't be available for a while and that they should make sure the city doesn't but to the ground while he was gone.

The night came a little later than usual, and Thor finally arrived, Jack went ahead and debriefed him on what was going on.

"Alright, my friend! let's fight this God of fear and come out on top" Yelled Thor as he drank.

"It's time for a battle, so I suggest we don't drink."

said Phil over the comms.

they were currently flying over the Egyptian territory.

"Don't worry, son of Coul, I am an Asgardian and can hold my own." Thor assured Phil, who just shrugged his head and moved on.

"We can move in once Natasha and Hawkeye are done with their mission, oh! that was fast." Coulson said mid sentence.

It seems like the mission was a success, they had taken care of the two main causes of the civil war in Cairo.

"Now where is Serpent, I don't see him anywhere," Said Thor as he looked at the ground below."

"See that pyramid, under that is the Hydra base, since I am not able to locate the entrance, we will make our own, Serpent will be waiting for us inside, I guess." Jack said as he wasn't sure about it.

Sinthea POV.

We made a big mistake, a mistake that couldn't be fixed, I watched as the stature broke and a man fell off of his head.

"Gaaah!" he yelled.

His body was bent in weird ways, but in a snap, he was back to new, I looked at the serpent or the man, but Loki was nowhere to be seen.

"Welcome to Earth, ughhh!"

Before I could begin to speak, I felt overwhelming fear cloud me as I was suspended in the air, The old man, no!, the serpent, the God of fear was grabbing me by the neck as he looked me in the eyes and said.

"I guess you are the mongrel that released me."

I shuddered, his very voice brought chills down my spine.

"Hehe! worry not, for I shall reward you handsomely for your efforts."

The God said as he plunged his hands into my chest,

"aughh!" I shouted, not in pain, as it didn't hurt, but I felt like I would rather die, as my every fibre of being was being rewritten I was being turned, I looked around me to see what the heck was everyone doing, only to see that everyone was dead, or sleeping.

"Now rise, turn and become my soldier, for you are..."

"Skadi." said Sinthea.

as she stopped spasming on the ground and gave a bow.

"Welcome back master." Skadi said as she looked at her master, The real and true heir of Asgard.

"Dear Skadi, tell me everything to know about the present Midgard.

Serpent POV:

I had finally been freed, but it seems it was out of desperation, rather then loyalty, the woman in front of me freed me as she coveted my power. Haha! and power she will get.

I killed everyone with a gaze, as they were all evils nd tainted souls, but just as they died, their looks of fear and regret gave me enough power to bring forth Skadi, one of my loyal subordinates.

I knew that Odin will be sending someone to kill me or seal me again, as he himself was now weak, and I could feel his weakness, it was only a matter of time until he died or disappeared, but that didn't mean the current me could beat him.

I needed fear and all the negative emotions I could get to become strong again and return to my pinnacle.

But it seems we will be ambushed, a hero by the name of...he has many names

Miracle, Blitz, Mr. magician and all Might.

From the footage I have seen, he is going to be my biggest obstacle, but obstacles are meant to be crossed, broken and surpassed

I need to gather my loyal subordinates first and cultivate horror and fear in the Hearts of Midgardian.

" Skadi."

"Yes! My lord."

"Rigg the place with explosives, we are leaving."

I said to my subordinate as I opened a portal and went through, it was time I brought fear, again.

"Yes! My lord."
