Chapter 191 Sin and the Serpent III

It's been two days since the Avengers meeting and I have to say, we don't have any clue. I have asked the ancient One about it and asked for her to get her shit together and give me a location but to her, the timeline must stay intact,

I'm can't convince her so I started cleaning the area and looking at all the red dots to see who they are.

I scouted the whole of New York and found no one from Hydra or The Serpent himself, I didn't tell Spidey about this, someone should keep an eye, maybe I might have missed something.

I did tell the other avengers and Fury about this. This will help shield use their resources in the right direction.

I did find some old friends though, sigh, it's the fuckin HAND, they are back, I had my clone tail them so that I can act if they come up with something vicious,

I am currently flying around the globe looking at all the places that have a red dot and they are a lot,

Like, as the dots that belong to HAND, some other organizations that want general death and destruction,

I didn't pay them mind for now as we had a God to deal with.

After seven more days, I finally saw some improvements, Fury reported how they came across the dead bodies of their agents.

And guess where I found the Hydra base, In Egypt

Specifically disguised, as it was located right Under a pyramid, Thank God I had the map or I would have not found it,

I was not able to find any entrance whatsoever, I opened a portal and walked into the avenger's tower, Tony was working on something when he saw me coming

"Hey! Buddy, how is the search coming along, find anything yet," he asked me

Giving me a glass and pouring me a drink, more like his handy robot did so, I nodded at that

"Huh! really, then what are we waiting for, let's go"

He told me, I stopped him, and he looked at me with confusion

"We need the whole team on this, we are all a team you know," I told him as a matter of fact, even though I had half a mind to go ahead and beat the shit out of this god, but it's better to be safe than sorry

We called for a meeting, I gave the info to Maria and Fury who pulled up a projection

"This fits the description, the area you were in is under a civil war and death and destruction are imminent, I think it's safe to say we found our guy," He told me

"And the nail in the coffin is, we still don't know on what basis the civil war is going" Maria started

"Hmm! so...do we stop the war or deal with Hydra," Asked Bruce as he rubbed his beard.

He looked like he hadn't washed for weeks, just what the hell were these two working on.

"We do both" Said Tony

Everyone looked at him

"What! don't tell me you think otherwise, of we don't have the area under our control, them Hydra will be the one pulling the carpet from under our feet," Tony said our piece and crossed his arms in front of his chest

"But if we go in and spook them, then it will be too late and Hydra might escape," Black Widow said

"Not mentioning if Hydra will leave or not, how do we get the civil war to start anyway," Hawkeye said as he looked at me.

"That can be arranged, these two people," Fury said as he pointed at the screen as two people came up

"They are the main reason that the civil war is ongoing, if we take them out, we can get everything under control," He said

After a bit of debate it was decided that we will be infiltrating Egypt, Fairy told us to kit worry about the world council on this one as he had our backs.

Black widow and Hawkeye are supposed to be infiltrating the place, while me, Cap and Tony will be going to the Hydra base.

Spidey was elected to stay in New York, he is not officially part of the Avengers, so he wasn't getting a vote on that, Wolverin on the other hand was invited by Fury and has decided to join the avenger, I congratulated the guy.

"Alright, we begin the operation tonight, Prepare yourself." Fury said and left.

Tony in the meantime called us all to the tower lobby and once I git their I saw a small briefcase, inside it was rings, with the symbol of each being us.

I looked at them curiously

Sinthea Schmidt POV:

"You said he wouldn't find us!?" I yelled, the man, no , the God had lied to us,I couldn't help but grit my teeth as I looked at his devilish grin, he was playing us all along

I sacrificed so much, this is one of the last few bases that's left,

But today,I saw him,I saw him and I felt the fear , fear that I didn't know I had, he was flying just a bit more and he would have discovered us,

"I guess he is more of a genius then I thought" Loki said dismissively as he looked at Sinthea,before he turns his head and looked at the giant status of a serpent,

In the pyramid, there was a hydra base underground, This place was obviously discovered by Loki, who told Sinthea about it, as they both had a common enemy, That damned magician.

"Loki!? don't play games with me, tell me how to unseal the god" I yelled as I looked at the smug bastard,once I have the serpent under me,I will have his head.

Unfortunately for me,I was looking at a projection, and he had been playing us all along.

While I was thinking about how we were doomed to fail, Loki suddenly looked up before he smiled again.it sent chills down my spine

"Haha! it seems you don't have long, he will be coming tonight, and don't think about escaping, there is only a 1 percent chance of you escaping once he has seen you...or felt your life force for that matter" Loki said and I could help but rub my temple

"I will help you this once, give me the briefcase" he said and I immediately handed it to him.

We needed to unseal the serpent.

He took our a vial of blood, it belonged to One Wanda Maximoff

"ah! such power in the hands of a mere mortal" he said

What was he talking about, rather than her,I think that brother of hers was more stronger.

He did something and the blood started floating and changing, until it tuned into a weird red energy , the same color as her powers.

"Now Human! prepare yourself, as you are about to see the rise of a god, one that is known to spread fear and chaos"

The energy floated and was absorbed into the statue, nothing happened for a moment, and just when I was about to mock the god, he disappeared with a savage grin on his face
