141. Premonition

'That feeling is getting stronger.' King frowned while looking at the sky. He has been getting a premonition for a couple years now.

It's been a month since his date with Rogue and Ororo. He has been going about his normal life but the premonition is getting stronger and stronger.

'Let it just come.' King shrugged his shoulders and didn't care about whatever it was.

It's not like anything can best him in this universe. He is already strong enough for anything that comes his way with him having Omniscience and all.

"You guys finally finished with training huh." King looked at the Fantastic Four in front of him.

All of them learned to better control their powers and not go berserk from them. It was quite the rapid progress.

"Yeah." Johnny flexed his muscles and flamed up to show him.

"That's good progress Johnny." King nodded his head in appreciation.

"Yeah, just like a flaming chicken." Ben snickered and said.

"At least not like certain someone. Who looks like an ugly kid when he transforms." Johnny snapped back.

"You wanna go?" Ben said while transforming.

"Who's afraid of whom." Johnny said and flared up as well.

"Control yourselves." Susan attached forcefields to her hands and punched both of them on the head.

"Ouch, Ow." Both of them yelled while holding their head.

"You guys." Reed just shook his head with a smile and looked at King just smiling while looking at them.

"So, what happened to your friend Victor?" King finally remembered something and asked.

"I don't know. I haven't met the guy in a while." Reed just shrugged his shoulder and said.

"Fair enough." King shrugged and a car came to receive all of them.

"Well let's get you guys back to the Baxter Building." King said and boarded the car along with everyone.

"King." Susan boarded last and sat down next to him.

"Hmm." King looked at her looked at her nervous expression.

He finally saw her changes. She had her hair in a ponytail and she was also wearing a skirt along with a white top that just accentuated her figure.

"You look really good in that outfit. You hairstyle also suits you really good." King didn't shy away from praise either and praised sincerely.

"Thank you." Susan smiled beautifully at his praise. She spent hours today just choosing what to wear.

She was finally going to see him after a full month. So she couldn't contain her excitement and finally decided that this looked better.

"Let's go then." The car started driving and everyone looked happy to finally leave this torture house and finally go back to their home and their normal lives.

"You guys seem happy." King asked while looking at their smiles.

"I'm really glad man. That place was pure torture." Johnny said and whined loudly.

"That's why you're still so weak." King just gave a casual jab at his happiness.

"Pfft." Ben just laughed out loud on the side.

Reed also snickered but tried to control his laughter. Susan just deadpanned at their antics.

The car slowly got to their destination and everyone disembarked immediately. They couldn't take the sugary atmosphere between King and Susan.

"I want a girlfriend as well." Johnny whined again after he got out of the car.

"Yeah, when every guy dies in the world." Ben just jabbed at him and made his way into the building ahead of everyone.

"You!" Johnny had nothing to say apart from that. He just couldn't think of anything.

"Wanna go for lunch?" King asked Susan.

"Yeah." Susan also looked at the three men and thought it was better to just leave with King.

"Let's go then." King walked forward and came to a very simple diner. It was just a couple streets away from the building.

It was a fast food shop that you could find anywhere but it was unusually busy. There were people coming and going. It was affecting the business of the surrounding shops.

"Boss, whip me two Sausage cobs with Bacon please." King yelled and took a seat in the diner.

"Oh, King, how are ya?" The boss looked up because he heard a familiar voice in his ear.

"Very good man. Make sure to prepare the food good." King gave the boss a thumbs up and said.

"Coming right up." The boss laughed and started making the food with gusto.

"You know him?" Susan quirked an eyebrow and asked.

"Yeah, his five year old daughter was in need of treatment. He was about to resort to burglary but he met me. I just took his daughter to the King hospitals and now she is a lovely little angel."

King nodded his head and explained.

"How nice." Susan nodded her head with a smile and looked at the happy shop owner.

He had a big smile on his face and looked like he was enjoying his work with no worry in the world about anything.

"He is a good guy." King nodded his head and also smiled while remembering.

'Shit.' King suddenly felt that his premonition started ringing again.

'It's a strong one.' King felt the power coning towards Midgard.

It wasn't something he couldn't handle but he always likes to hold back because he wants to enjoy his life.

Otherwise, the life will be way too boring if he just solves everything with a flick of his finger. He just wants a leisure life.

'That's why I told Zeus and others to keep an eye on the world. I don't want to disturb my lovely wives after all.' King smiled and just focused on his lunch with Susan.

He wasn't going to ruin this little date. The threat was still a bit far away and it would take at least about an hour to get here.

"So, do you want to try your hands on first practical experience?" King looked at Susan and asked without giving any context behind it.

"What do you mean?" Susan was puzzled and asked.

"You'll see in about an hour's time." King just smiled at her mysteriously and focused on the food that finally came to their seats.
