"How do you know about him?" The president asked, raising his voice.

"Speak properly, Mr. President, or you'll end up like that guy," Max said in a calm voice, but his aura made the president sweat.

"How do you know about him?" This time, the president asked calmly.

"About who?" Max said.

"You very well know whom I am talking about" The President said.

"But I don't know," Max shrugged and replied.

The president clenched his hands, unable to do anything.

"What is the meaning of this?" Another figure in the room questioned.

"Yes, you have someone of Holy Knight equivalent hiding all this time!" Others chimed in.

"Retiring someone as powerful as the Holy Knight just because of skin tone, as expected of you people," another figure scoffed.

"Now, now, stop it. It's not his fault; he wasn't even president at that time, after all," Max smiled and halted their banter.

"And you still said you know nothing of him?" The president frowned.

"Just get to the point, shall we? What was this meeting called for?" Max smiled and asked.

The president, knowing he wouldn't get much from Max, remarked, "This meeting is about a project called 'Avengers' – a team of superheroes."

"Those in favor of Holy Knight joining it, raise their hands," the president spoke, and everyone raised their hand.

"That's it, I guess," Max said, and the meeting concluded.

"Whom were you talking about?" Fury asked as the meeting ended.

"Didn't I say, I can read minds? I read his, and he was thinking of someone named 'Blue Marvel.' That's all I know," Max replied.

While inwardly thinking, 'Of course, I know about him; after all, that guy can go against Sentry.'

Fury nodded, and then he let Max leave. As Max exited the room, Fury sat down and looked at the Skrull's dead body.

Making up his mind, he said, "Call him back."

Maria nodded and ran outside, finding Max leisurely walking in the hallways.

"Excuse me, Mr. Knight, we would like to talk about something."

Max turned back and returned to the room.

"What is it, Fury?" Max asked entering inside.

"I want to ask about him," Fury said, pointing at the dead Skrull.

"What do you want to ask?" Max said.

"Why did you kill him?" Fury asked.

"He was plotting to take over this SHIELD," Max replied.

Fury nodded, "We located Mr. Stark, but his exact location is still unknown. Can you help us?"

"I can't," Max shook his head.

"Why?" Fury asked.

"Even if I explain, you wouldn't understand. But simply, Tony will be a changed man when he returns. From a playboy to, well, a hero. I guess that's the word," Max said.

Fury looked at Max, studying him, and then said, "Okay, I believe you. But if anything happens to him, it's your fault."

"Don't worry, I know what am I doing," Max smiled and said.

"By the way, I want that Cube called Tesseract," Max said.

"This can't happen," Fury shook his head and replied.

"Well, I know you will decline. Then how about that Obelisk?" Max nodded and then said.

"What do you need it for?" Fury asked.

"It's alien technology, right? What else other than to study it?" Max replied.

"And what will we get?" Fury said, while thinking, 'We can't get anything from it anyway, but still I can't lose it without any compensation.'

"She is your most trusted aid, right? I will make her a Super," Max pointed at Maria Hill and said.

Fury's expression changed for a moment, but then it returned to normal. Still, Max caught it. Fury asked, "Is it true?"

"Yes, I will give her a small part of my power," Max nodded and made up bullshit.

"Okay, it's a deal," Fury said and then instructed Maria to bring the Obelisk.

Maria nodded and went out. Fury asked, "It won't affect you, right?"

"Hmm, if I use it more than two or three times, then it will. Otherwise, no," Max replied.

Fury nodded, and then both fell silent.

Soon, Maria returned with a case, and then she opened it and presented it to Max.

Max nodded, seeing this, and waved his hand, storing it in the inventory. Fury's eyes widened, while Maria reached for her gun, but Fury stopped her.

"Have some faith in me?" Max rolled his eyes at Maria.

"Anyway, what power would you like?" Max snapped his fingers, and then three projections appeared, showcasing Marko from One Piece – he appeared and then transformed into a blue flaming bird.

"This power would allow you to transform into a Phoenix, with healing capabilities and superhuman-level strength, agility, endurance, and all related stuff," Max said as he introduced Marko's abilities. He extracted it back in the One Piece world while offering him Infinite Tower access plus rejuvenating his dad, Whitebeard, which he happily accepted.

On the second projection, Kaido appeared. "As you see, this power will allow you to transform into an Eastern Dragon along with other superhuman benefits."

And on the last projection, it was Catarina Devon, a Nine-Tailed Fox devil fruit user, which he got from the Underwater Prison. "This power is perfect for a spy, changing into others, creating illusions, and controlling flames. So, what's your choice?" Max asked after introducing the three powers.

Fury and Maria looked at these projections calmly, but inside, they were screaming madly. Fury thought, 'Just how much power does he have?' while Maria thought, 'I thought he was joking or he would just give me super strength and speed, but what is this?'

"Can you please make a choice faster?" Max said, as it's already half an hour.

"I will choose the Phoenix one," Maria said, and Fury raised his brows , then said, "If you are choosing it for my sake, then don't worry about me."

"I am still choosing Phoenix," Maria replied.

Max nodded, and then a pineapple appeared in his hand with a flaming effect.

"Eat it, and you will receive Phoenix powers," tossing the fruit to Maria, Max said.

Maria nodded but just as she was going to eat it...

"I think it's better to check it first," an agent appeared and said.

Max flicked his finger, and the guy got embedded in the wall.

"There are a lot of rats in your organization, Fury," Max said.

"Can you check others too?" Fury said, and other agents felt a chill running down their spines.

Max smiled and then snapped his finger, and six out of the remaining eight agents fell lifelessly on the ground. "I have already checked them all," Max said.

"Eat it, before it gets lost," Fury nodded and then said to Maria.

Maria nodded and then bit the pineapple; slowly, she ate the whole pineapple.

After eating it, she momentarily closed her eyes and then raised her left hand. A blue flame materialized in her hand.
