4 Chapter 4 - Who's Daughter?

The girl decided to not say anything, deciding that if they thought she didn't understand them, she could use that to her advantage to gain information over time.

Maybe it would even help her avoid getting into any trouble right off the bat.

The magical world of Harry Potter was very dangerous after all, she needed to be ready for anything that may prove to be dangerous to her.

And if she really is the daughter of Nagini that would mean she was directly involved with the main story and cast even if she didn't want to be.

Nagini was after all Voldemort's servant, and had connections with the Death Eaters.

Which made her the enemy of all the normal wizards and witches of the world, which would make her directly implicated by this connection.

She might even become a target of Dumbledore's plan, and somehow become an enemy of the golden trio's due to how foolishly naive they are.

With this thought in mind, she couldn't help but sigh to herself— in her mind because she didn't want them to hear her.

While she was lost in thought it seemed the three people next to her thought she was in a daze, confused— so the old man spoke once more in order to draw her attention.

"Vix, I hope you don't mind me calling you that. I know you mightn't understand me but I need you to know that you're a very, very, important person to us." Now that caught the attention of the girl, as she turned to face the man— still pretending to not understand what was going on.

"You see, you are something we thought wouldn't be possible— something no one believed would happen. You are the daughter of the greatest Dark Lord in history, Voldemort." While her face didn't show it— inside of her mind she was literally freaking out.

If being the daughter of Nagini, the servant of Voldemort was bad, then what would that make being the daughter of Voldemort himself?

A catastrophe.

How would she possibly survive now that she was the daughter of the Dark Lord? The insane Dark Lord that wanted to kill all muggle-borns and take over the place.

'Holy shit.' Was all she could think in her mind at this information— how did she not realize that before?

'Wait is that what they mean by half breed? I'm half Maledictus and half Wizard. That's so weird— here I thought that Voldy would never have love.' Her thoughts wandered from the subject at hand as she started to think about how weird it was for Voldemort to have a child with Nagini.

She didn't particularly like Voldemort, nor did she really hate him. From what she could remember from the movies he was just a foolish bigot that wanted power.

But he failed because he went about trying to get it in the most foolish way ever.

Worse of all he failed because of a kid that was less than half his age, less than half as powerful as he was, and barely passed school.

He literally died to the power of friendship.

But that doesn't change the fact that he was, is, the most powerful Dark Lord in history.

Being his daughter would put me at the center of attention for a lot of things.

A lot.

"Don't worry, we don't plan to hold you accountable for the actions of your father, however, we need to keep you under supervision for reasons." Said the female of the group this time— as if I would understand her if I was normal.

'That's a relief.' She sarcastically thought to herself because she knew that was utter bullshit.

They probably want to monitor in case Voldemort did anything to her when she was born. Or if he would come to find her whenever he returned.

If he returned.

Or maybe they had other reasons for monitoring her— either way, they wanted to limit her.

It was basically a prison for her without the bars— for now at least.

"I won't take a lot of your time because I know you must be tired. What I want to say is that now that you're awake we intend to run some tests on you. Don't worry it won't hurt you in any way."

Said the old man once more— causing her to raise an eyebrow this time for her to see.

She did that purposefully, she wanted them to think she was slowly starting to learn what they were saying— or at least understand the intention behind the tone they used.

She couldn't stay this way forever after all— she had plans she wanted to do.

And those plans would require her to attend the school all wizards and witches in the UK want to attend, Hogwarts.

And in order to attend such a school, she would at least need to show them that she was able to understand and speak on the same level as someone her age.

Even if she would have to pull a little bullshit magic and wishful thinking to get them to not be suspicious of how she was able to learn so fast.

As for the part about them monitoring her at all times— and not wanting to let her out of their sight.

Well, where would be better than the most fortified place in the country?

Where the greatest Light Wizard lives and teaches.

She was sure she could figure something out with time— that was all she needed to do anything— time.

So with the old man giving the girl a friendly smile, telling her goodbye, he left.

Along with the two other people he came with.

Leaving her alone in the room— but she was sure they were other people watching her at all times. So she had to act properly at all times.
