Meeting with Daemon and Corlys

[A/N:Alicent Hightower is complex character,she was pushed into a Oldman arms by her own father.She seems to be a pawn for her father's games,while her son's are slightly annoying.I mean Aegon doesn't want the throne,but seems to pressured by Alicent,while Aemond is more bold and calculating,but both brothers are easy to anger and unforgiving.]

Eragon was now in a meeting with Lord Corlys Velaryon and Daemon,both of them sitting opposite to Eragon.

Lord Corlys spoke up"I am already having issues with Craghas and my house is suffering for it.While the King ignores my pleas."

Daemon slightly apologetic tone replied"I am sorry for what my brother did."

Corlys waved it off for now,but he will not fight the slight by Viserys.After all Velaryons have supported the Targeryen's for so long and Viserys not even taking a look at there problems is very disappointing and enraging.

Eragon spoke up"The issue with Craghas is something that must be dealt with quickly.That's why I brought you two here,Daemon can provide you the support."

Daemon was curious asked"So you are going to provide us with weapons and some of your men from what I am guessing."

Eragon nodded and replied"Yes,this matter does just effect you,this would effect North as well."

Ever since the Triarchy invaded and occupied the Stepstones. At first, their intention was to merely charge merchants for passage, which everyone gladly paid in return for protection.But now

under the leadership of the warlord named Craghas Crabfeeder, the Triarchy begins to taunt and provoke the Six Kingdoms, feeding the sailors and merchants of Westerosi ships to crabs on the shores of the Stepstones. Many ships were lost to Crabfeeder, including a few flying the Velaryon banner.

Also they are increasing the charge with time,which was not a good thing as Eragon spoke to Corlys"I am sure a warning from North and Middle-earth will make the Triarchy back up for while,which will make sure to provide you with time to get the army ready."

Daemon and Corlys agreed,since they knew the weight Middle-earth's name carried.Also Eragon remembered a certain issue and looking at Daemon said"I found the rumor mongers,who has been making rumors about you being the second coming of Maegor and stuff."

Daemon was now serious asked"Let me gues,it was Otto."

Eragon nodded and replied"Yes,he seems to have made it mission to cause trouble for you."

Daemon with frown and said"That bastard was sucking upto me like he did with Viserys,but I bluntly told him to walk away.It seems to have angered him."

Eragon hummed understanding the situation and said"You know sooner this issue with Crabfeeder is dealt with the better."

Daemon nodded,while the interesting thing is Daemon was not hungry for the Throne like original timeline.He was only doing his duty as the heir to throne for now.Daemon was even ready to step down if Viserys had son.But his relationship with his brother is slightly strained because of Otto.

While Eragon knew chances are Viserys decisions to ignore this issue will be questioned again.Just like how Daemon is called Maegor's second coming in the rumors,he is called Aenys second coming."
