Alex landed close to the only remaining tent after getting off of Ikeris' back, he walked into the tent and searched it, he later sighed in disappointment and disgust.

"They took everything, except for my change of clothes, such selfish people, I bet they didn't even bother searching for me

Sigh!

I can't blame them though, since they don't like me, only after what they can get from me" Alex grumbled after he discovered that the students had thoroughly ransacked his tent and swept it clean of everything valuable.

[So what now? what do you plan on doing?] Zero inquired.

"We are heading home first after I change out of these messy clothes," Alex said while looking at his tattered uniform.

Alex searched through the bag that he had brought with him for the camp and easily found a new pair to change into.

Blacktop, black jeans shorts with blue stripes, and a pair of boots,<camping outfit> he thought inwardly.

Alex climbed onto ikeris back and they once again took off to the sky.

It was already daytime by now, the sun was slowly peeking out from behind the clear clouds as small Rays of sunlight fell upon the earth, a gentle breeze that made Alex's air fluster gently.

After reaching a considerable height in the air. Alex curiously looked all around him, but an endless sea of trees was what greeted his eyes. Alex was made to believe that they had gone deep into whichever forest they were currently in.

No sign of civilization like what he had gained from his new memories, it almost looked like he was in some random forest in his old world.

"Did they have to come so far just for some useless camping trip?" Alex looked down from Ikeris' back and was sure that they were already over three thousand meters high in the air but he still couldn't find a trace of humans.

He was about to ask Ikeris to go higher when...

[Use detection already] zero said impatiently, causing Alex to realize that he did have the sound element.

"What's the range I can cover?" Alex asked, embarrassed.

[Five hundred kilometers I guess?] Zero said, unsure of her answer.

"Oh, I guess it's nearly impossible for a sound mage to get lost then, isn't it so?"Alex thought, after all, he could cover such distance with just a core spell, what a cheat.

[It's not only sound mages that have a hearing perception, but other's can also, just that sound mages have a larger range covered, but also not to your extent since you created your own system, I guess a normal sound mage could cover three to five kilometers, so mages can get lost] zero corrected her ecstatic host.

"Oh ok," Alex closed his eyes and cast the spell instantly. Another insta cast spell, without needing to complete any elemental moon, it seems like they auto-connected themselves which made Alex wonder if it was normal.

DETECTION!!

Almost immediately after Alex started to hear noises that perfectly fitted the ones registered in his memories as cars, the roaring engines, honking of cars, screeching tires, and occasionally radio playing sounds.

"Ikeris turned left and keep going, we will reach the city soon"

Flap...flap.... swoosh!!

Ikeris bolted in the direction Alex pointed out at full speed, the speed was so strong that the wind harshly brushed Alex's face as they dashed through the sky.

[Remember to stop somewhere a bit further away from wherever you are heading, so no one sees this giant bird in the air unless you want to cause a commotion in the city] zero somehow got used to calling ikeris names like 'big bird' 'giant bird' that she seemed to have forgotten that ikeris was a royal eagle. Well, Alex wasn't planning on stopping her though.

"Got it" was all Alex replied and continued to enjoy its ride on Ikeris soft back.

He laid flat on Ikeris' back facing the sky as the clouds ran past his vision. Now that he thought about it, it was daytime already, this planet turned out to only have one sun, unlike his old planet with three suns.

Ikeris flew for some minutes and Alex could finally see a very tall building from the distance, although it was still very far away, Alex was satisfied that they were finally close.

There was an Expressway just some tens of meters in front of the building with various cars speeding along it.

Alex had earlier told ikeris to lower its flying altitude to avoid any possibility of getting spotted as this eagle was just too enormous and eye-catching.

Alex finally stopped ikeris about five hundred meters away from the road, inside a random bush just a few hour's walk away from it.

Alex once again opened the very familiar white portal for Ikeris to go back which he closed immediately after the eagle went through, he had decided to walk the rest of his journey.

"Since it's just a few hundred meters, why don't I try out my speed system then, what do you think zero?" 

[Mm, I think you could]

" How do I activate it?"Alex asked as he stood still while looking around him.

He suddenly spotted some wolves slowly making their way toward him. They looked different from the types of wolves Alex knew from his old planet but he didn't run away from them. What could some animals on a weak planet do to him anyways?

[It's already activated, you just have to boost yourself with your immortal essence, and VOILA!!] 

"Ok then, it sounds simpler than I thought" while still conversing with zero, one of the wolves dashed towards Alex in a crazed manner, bearing its sharp teeth at Alex's.

Alex just looked at the suicidal wolf with no change in his expression. He even had the urge to tell the wolf that he had seen creatures more ferocious than it.

Alex lazily lifted his hands and pointed a finger in the incoming Wolf's direction.

Water bullets!

Alex cast a water spell with his finger still pointing at the wolf, small water droplets quickly gathered in front of Alex's fingertip, taking the shape of a small bullet, which was made purely of water.

Alex flicked his finger, sending the water bullet to welcome the wolf that was soon to be escorted to the underworld.

All these actions happened within the frame of two seconds, the wolf didn't even have the chance to munch on its launch before the water bullet met at Midway.

The water bullet pierced through its head and its head shattered into fragments of Bones, flesh, and blood mist, the force of the impact sent the body flying till it collided with a tree that was peacefully standing some meters away.

The rest of the pack quickly ran away in fear after they saw Alex kill one of their own in mere seconds.

"Well that sure was something, it's more powerful than I had imagined it to be"Alex didn't know if it was just him or if all other water mages could do the same thing, he should probably think about that later.

Alex also did not bother with the fleeing wolves, he wasn't here to hunt after all.
