KLAUS POV

After that brief meeting with Sarin he went to the central quarter of the castle. Grey was here in this castle and he knew the exact location. He closed the library door behind him and walked to the farthest end of the library. Some people were around but most of them were cleaners so they didn't ask questions, plus he was dressed in elegant attire so he looked like one of the Generals.

Sensing no heartbeat around him, he pulled out some books from a shelf then the shelf automatically opened. Stepping in, it closed quickly but with no noise which made him smile.

Some downwards staircase then he landed in the lower Chambers of the castle. The place where only very few people-him his father, Karl, Enisa and Grey-knew about.

Grey was in the last chamber so he just went directly there.

"Grey?"

"Yes my dear love" he taunted with a smile.

Klaus rolled his eyes with a click but continued, "Tell me why you called me here"

"Your Princess is in absolute danger" Grey said pulling a map from under the table.

"Aella you fool" he said amusedly, "What sort of danger?"

"Jurrian who seems to be a frequent visitor of the Library was here last night with some generals"

"And?" Grey laid the map on the table and pointed to Northern Dalotopia territory.

"They are planning to attack so they can get Aella, they plan to use the mortal lands to do this which will take some time but they'll be here soon for her mostly"

"Her father must have found out through those traitorous snakes"

Grey nodded. After her powerful outburst, Klaus didn't expect anything less. Terrence, Aella's father, would do his absolute worst to make sure he found Aella. She could be a weapon he could mould for himself to control and conquer over other nations but Klaus couldn't allow that.

"What about Jurrian and The House?" Klaus asked surveying the map and putting marks at some points on the maps.

"Jurrian will never find these chambers and I make sure of that that's why he wants Sarin and keeps coming here" Grey smiled triumphantly knowing there was no was he could be outsmarted by his step-brother, Jurrian.

Klaus knew why Sarin was on such high demand, she could shift souls and gather information from all of the souls. Historical information which could cause alot of trouble or save alot of lives. Information that could bring Jurrian here, to these chambers which was very dangerous.

" As for The Imperial house, I'll go back tomorrow your sister is getting married in three days so remember to appear since you're walking her down the aisle if your father doesn't show up" Klaus didn't even know she was getting married until now, Enisa never mentioned it when he was there which was three weeks ago.

"He will show up I don't even need to tell him to" Klaus smiled deviously knowing his father 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 show up. He made a promise and he would keep it.

"So where are you hiding?" Grey knew nothing about Noona, only Enisa and Karl knew and he wasn't ready to spill the beans yet and ruin the peace of the Island.

But that didn't mean he wouldn't eventually tell him.

"I don't keep things from you but for now I will, I need my gold" he needed to buy Aella a dress for the wedding. Her fear of Cunningham people was still there but she would accompany him no matter what plus The Bandits left and even if they were there he would be happy to make them go crazy just like last time.

"You know where your money is and take this, it came from the North and it's for Aella" Grey said dismissively pointing to a letter on the table which he took. It wasn't in perfect shape and he had every urge to rip it open but he didn't.

For her sake he put in his breast pocket.

He winnowed back to the Cabin. The serpent from that night of the outburst sat in the living room of the cabin. Noona had refused to 'take care' of him. Yet.

Aella was staring at him, scared obviously. She hadn't gotten over it. He was tied up and she was still scared. She looked at him and beamed a smile, she had just left the bed. Her eyes raking all over his body. She didn't know but even she, caused him to react in some embarrassing manners like the increase in pulse rate which never happened with anyone else.

"Where have you been?" she asked adding some more porridge in her bowl.

"Town" was his short answer. Noona was putting steaming hot porridge in a can meant to for a cat to eat from and he already guessed her intentions.

She walked to her prisoner and removed the gag from his mouth. He still has scales on his arms and feet. His eyes were slitted yellow. Aella had told them that there were two attackers that night, him and the serpent he threatened back then at the tomb. He regretted not killing him back then but promised to show him hell the next time they met.

"Now be a good snake and drink this before it's cold" her tone was still warm but the look in her eyes was deadly. It looked at the porridge horrifically.

He turned to look at Aella whose beautiful grey eyes were wide as saucers, it's funny since Aella looked like some part of her pitied it but the other didn't. He heard the snake hiss in pain. Noona's ways of torture were slow but painful.

Aella looked away as it drank all of the hot scalding fluid down it's throat. It would never feel the taste of anything after this.

"Let's go out?" he asked Aella walking towards her. He still had to give him the letter he was given, but not yet. Not now.

She nodded quickly and walked out. Her body had more strength than before and the colour of her skin had returned from the light blue.

"Want to swim?" he took her to the waterfall. He had no idea why he was so allured by her in the water and wanted to see that each time she was in it. She had some certain kind of glow that he was yet to comprehend.

"Yeah but I need to learn something from this swimming lesson" she said removing her coat leaving her with only her dress. Not the normal one from Dalotopia.

Her night dress that only reached on her thighs. He grinned, "I see you're in the mood for fun, huh?"

She followed his line of sight right back at her, her ears and cheeks coloured pink. She had been oblivious to it.
