AELLA

Her strength was much better as she walked out of the bed. She didn't have the strength to dress up and take a shower though she had had a midnight bath with the help of Klaus. He had been the most awesome person in her life.

She pulled on the fluffy coat Klaus had given her and walked downstairs. The vision was a bit blurry as she scanned the room for Klaus but he wasn't around.

"Cosgrove, you're awake" Noona had been helpful for the past two days. She appreciated her help so much since this was the only family she had left.

"Yes"

"Have a sit and drink this for some additional strength"

"Thankyou" she sat on the high chair looking at Noona cook some foul looking looking liquid- porridge.

"What is that Noona?" she asked curiously. Noona placed more good porridge for her to add for herself if she wasn't satisfied then got back to her disgusting business.

"Oh this-" she chuckled looking past her so she turned to look behind her. Her heart came to an abrupt stop, fear crept up to her stomach making it churn. "Don't worry about it Cosgrove, he is my new cook tester or whatever they're called but I'll take care of him in time"

She didn't want to look at him, tied to a chair with a cloth gag.

Her heart beat spiraled out of control in fear.

"Don't worry love, he's just here for today you won't see him again " Noona took a can on the floor and started pouring the hot liquid in it.

She looked away only to meet with green beautiful ones. She smiled at him. He wore all black attire. A black long coat, black pants and black shirt.

He was ℎ𝑒𝑟 own, King of Darkness and she adored it.

"Where have you been?" she hadn't felt the warmth of the sheets when she woke up but it was midday so he must've left early.a

"Town"

Noona fed the serpent the foul porridge. She couldn't stay here any longer or she could vomit the good porridge she had just taken.

"Let's go out?" she didn't need to be asked twice. She walked out and towards the waterfall.

"Want to swim?" he asked. He had an obsession with swimming nowadays. She didn't say it though, she 𝑑𝑖𝑑 enjoy swimming too.

"Yeah but I want to learn something from this swimming lesson" She wanted to know how she affected the water each time she entered in it. Unconsciously she removed the fluffy coat and placed it on the stone after neatly folding it.

"I see you're in the mood for fun, huh?" initially she didn't understand what he was talking about until she looked at herself. She had completely forgotten.

Her body warmed up in many ways she couldn't care to explain. Offering a shy smile she dipped herself in water avoiding to look at his searing gaze boring holes all over her body.

Of course she slept in it every night and he cuddled her in it but he had never seen it clearly since she always hid under the covers but now in broad daylight, it was different.

His sly grin never left his face and she desperately wished she could slap it off.

"You're cute when you're shy, I should make you blush everytime" he said sinking in the water, swimming towards her she swam away.

If he touched her she burst in flames.

"You're not really helping Klaus"

He laughed, "You said something about learning in Swimming lesson"

"Yes, I want to know what happens when I enter in water it turns more blue"

"Noona will tell about all that later in the evening but for now you need to learn how to hold your breath under water"

She frowned, "Why are you soo into teaching about swimming?"

"Because you'll need it, Northern Dalotopia is just a water land everything is built on water that's why and in one way or another we'll be going there" he explained.

"I don't want to go there though" she was still scared especially of the unknown and her father.

"I'll be there with you, always" she smiled in acceptance.

"Lets get on with this" she said changing the topic of discussion.

.

"Would you prefer a cat or dog for a pet?"

"Neither, I would kill one of them accidentally before the end of the day"

She laughed, "I would love a pet cat"

"Obviously you would"

"Once I settle down I'll make sure to have one" she said dreamily imagining when she would have no problems so she could just do nothing and it wasn't inevitable.

" By settling you mean getting married or what?" She looked at him silently for a while unable to answer that one.

"I think so - am not sure" his gaze on her didn't falter but she didn't falter either. She had never thought about marriage but eventually she 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 get married. To him. Maybe.

"Do you see me in your future Klaus?" she blurted out.

"Do you want me to?" he threw everything right back at her.

"No Klaus, I asked first so reply"

"Yes, yes I see you in my everything so don't you even for a minute think of marrying somebody else but me" his tone carried finality and authority.

She smiled, "I don't want to get married I want to be alone forever"

He smirked sweeping a glance over her wet form sitting at the edge of the pool. "You might have to rethink that or-" he finally smiled. "I'll lock you up in a tower and it'll just be the two of us"

She laughed, "Just like in books, I think I would love that since each day in that tower I'll be dreaming for a prince charming to save me from your clutches" he swam closer and touched her bare feet under the pool.

"The only prince charming you're getting is me and no other"

Klaus, as her prince charming. She would love that. He had saved her once and clearly would do it again and given the chance she could do the same. He leaned up closer and kissed her passionately pushing all her doubts and fears at the bottom of the sea.
