Vikram informed her about his initial thoughts of clearing the building, then accidental discovery of cannibalistic bears, and how he followed them into the portal, then, finding the lab. He simply omitted any thing about the bear controlling device, slave collar and the smasher guns. Instead, Vikram gave her the grade textbooks he had recovered from the lab.
