6 Bastet the cat and recuit

After finishing making his 'throne room', he left his base and went for a little walk to the city. As he went out of the base, he created a portal in front of him and walked in.

Somewhere in the city of New York at night, Kevin appeared in a dark alley way. Seeing that no one was here, he decide to change and with a snap of a finger his clothes changed. He was now wearing a light brown trench coat with a sunglasses.

After making his clothes, he walked out of the alleyway and see a riot going around the streets with signs for those super power user to get out of their city like 'Get out!!' or 'Exile them!!'

"Human never change, they always fear when someone or something is different. No it's more like they fear what they can't control."

Watching them marching kind of reminded him of the past, when he saw the French Révolution. As he walked minding his own business, he heard someone calling him.

"Hey you over here, what you doing?"

Kevin turned around and a wild delinquent appeared before him. But he saw that this young teen is different, because he has super power. His power is that he can turn of his arm into a blade.

"What do you want?"

Kevin say nonetheless. This delinquent approached him and raise his arm at him then his arm turn into a blade.

"How about you give all that money you have in exchange your life."

"You making a big mistake young one, how about you-"

"Shut up!!"

He raise his arm blade near the neck of Kevin, he was not impressed, in fact he look bored and unexpressed by this delinquent.

"Huh, you don't look scare about my power? Do you want to die? I can kill you right now. So give me your money or die."

His blade was now in Kevin neck, Kevin didn't care a single bit and just use index finger to lower the blade out of his throat, while pointing his finger to the riot on the street.

"How about we go into an alley, it will make less obvious to the outside."

Seeing there were people everywhere, the delinquent decide it will better to go alley and retract his blade arm, while telling him to go first. After they were deep in a alleyway, he now pointed his blade at him.

"Now give your money or die here."

Kevin turn his head at him with a bore face, the delinquent see his annoying face strike him down. But before he could him, Kevin caught the blade with his left hand while his right hand grabbed the face of the delinquent.

Shocked about what just happened, the boys try to use other methods to get out of this situation by kicking him with his leg and other methods, but failed miserably as the grip of Kevin growth tightens around his head.

"You really thinks that having super power will make you strong? Maybe I should teach what real power really means."

Kevin gripped grew stronger as the blood came out of the eyes of the delinquent. The pain was so unbearable that he couldn't do anything, until Kevin used a little more of his strength to crush his head entirely as blood spattered everywhere.

The blood and brain matter scatter everywhere on the floor, wall and dumpster. All except Kevin who use a force field to protect his clothes. After killing him, he released his grip and the body drop on the ground death.

Before he could leave, he heard a sound coming from the dumpster. Hearings that someone has maybe heard him, he approached the dumpster and open it. Only to found a cute little white cat, the cat didn't seem scare and Kevin took the cat into his arms.

"Well… well… well, I didn't thinks that a little fur ball wasn't going to be scared of me. Do you like me little one?"

"Meow."

" I see, it been a while since I haven't raise a animal. But don't worry, I'll take care of you."

It maybe seemed like he just talked to a cat even if they couldn't understand. But they are literally having a conversation like having a chat with another human. Because of Kevin other ability of communicating with animal and sensing their feelings.

The cat hopped down on the ground and walked further in the alley, he wanted to show Kevin something. So he followed the cat in the deepest part of the alley until they arrived at their destination. What Kevin saw made him a little surprise, the were hundred of cat all feelings weak or dead with scratches on their body with blood coming out of them.

Kevin soon release what the cat want to show, this little puff ball beat and kill his owns kind, this cat was different like it want to be strong. Intriguing by this, Kevin took the cat and hold in with his arm.

"So you want more power?"

"Meow meow!"

"Very well, so what should I call you? Are you boy or a girl?"

"Meow."

"Oh you are a girl, very well. How about 'Bastet' the name of the cat goddess of Egypt, do you like it?"

"Meow!"

"Seem you like it very much, very come little one."

With a waved of his hand, Kevin open a portal of front him. But before he go, he looked at what was in his arm and saw that the cat wasn't afraid. She seemed very calm and didn't run away afraid of the portal. The both of them went in portal and disappeared in the alley, as the stench of blood fill the alleyway.

The both of them appear in what appeared to be room. Kevin drop slowly the cat on the ground and watch the cat explore her little room with no furniture in the room.

"This will be your little room, do you like it?"

"Meow."

"Good, but remember I'm now your master, you have to listen every commands I have to say got it?"

"Meow meow!"

"Good, welcome to your new house Bastet."

"Meow."

In the next few weeks, Kevin began to recruit those super power user, if they don't attack him first. At first the base was was just him and the cat, but began to grow slowly as he teaches them how to use their power and use them later on for his game of hero and villain.

As for the cat, she doesn't have the blood of Kevin. So he experimented the cat so that it can contain the power. The cat slowly change as her fur change to beige and the tail turn black with rose symbol of Egyptian on it. It's eyes turned rose and with symbol of the eye of Horus on it and it forehead has the symbol of Ankh on it. Even the ear has symbol, those symbol been Scarab.

Kevin took good care of the cat, as he saw that this cat might be special for the future. The cat acted just like a cat to the outside, but deep down, she will kill anyone that is weak. For her is the strong live and the weak die.

That is why she followed Kevin, she saw him has someone far beyond human and animal like her could comprehend. And she made the right choice to follow him.
