Happy being four again

Hu Lihua noticed that Samuel had grown considerably distanced with her , which upset her a bit . So she pouted and asked him in an offended and upset tone , "What's up with you , Samuel ? Do you not like the fact that I'm back in the country ?"

Samuel could only sigh defeatedly towards his stubborn childhood friend and so he turned to her and held her hands as he led her to the car parking . Hu Lihua was getting more and more confused as to what he was up to and so she as curious .

"Where are we going , Samuel ? "

Samuel ignored her question as he kept dragging her forward and then he stopped in front of a particularly beautiful blue car . It was the latest model of the car and only his family had the first edition of it in the whole country and in the world , only ten people had such a car .

He went to the car key base and pulled up the key of the blue lavish car as he tossed the key in the air towards Hu Lihua .

Hu Lihua caught it just right as she grinned towards her childhood best friend .

Samuel gave her a small smile and said ," Here , take your love . I know you love cars a lot and especially the ones of blue colour so here it is . Now , what do you have in mind about this ?"

Hu Lihua sprinted on her feet and jumped excitedly here and there until she came in front of Samuel and held his hands affectionately and thanked him with a kiss on his cheek .

Samuel suddenly took a step away before she could kiss him on the cheek .

Coughing awkwardly ,Samuel spoke up , "It's okay . I guess the car was bought just for you . See it's shining a lot more in the light with you around , go and have a test drive with it if you want to tour the city . "

Hu Lihua was stunned and slightly disappointed for a second because of Samuel's retreat from her kiss , but she forgot about it soon when he complemented her . She beamed with a happy smirk on her face , as she sat on the driver seat of the blue lavish and beautiful fancy car . She scrolled down the window shield as she peered at the Samuel standing in the parking lot .

"Hey handsome , would you mind joining me for a ride ?"

"Yes ."

"Awwww..my poor heart , come on naaa...…."

When he saw that's soon Hu Lihua would start whining and would eat up his exhausted brain soon , he swiftly made himself comfortable in the backseat .

Hu Lihua complained ," Hey , I'm not your driver .Come sit at the front ."

Samuel was left with no option as he made his way to the front seat beside her .

He knew how much of an adventure lover was Hu Lihua was , just like himself .

But he didn't understand why he felt the need to distance himself form his own childhood friend like this . And he had almost no control over it . He wished to actually be distanced , more appropriately in a physical way .

But after rummaging his brain while being on an adventure ride with Hu Lihua , he finally figured out the reason of his physical distancing .He pointed it out to be the love of his life , even though she was not there , he had already thought of finding her and apologising to her . He couldn't feel anything towards other women , with what he felt towards his love . He wanted to be committed only to her and only her and for that , he was determined to be physically distant form other women .

Hu Lihua and Samuel Chen had caught up with Su Yan and Shen Yu .

''Yoo…. You have grown up to be a beautiful young lady , xiao lihua ." Shen Yu said joyfully after being reunited as fours back again like this .

"Don't flatter me , Mr . Shen . You have not changed a bit . You're as funny as you were before ."

"No need to be so formal with your childhood buddies , xiao Lihua ."

"It was just a joke for god's sake Su Yan ."

Everyone laughed at the friendly banter that they had started . After talking about work , private life and girlfriend - boyfriend stuff, it was finally time to bid goodbye for the moment .

Hu Lihua was taken in a bear hug by the two as Samuel watched them from the side-lines .

AFTER RETURNING BACK HOME

Hu Lihua soon left with her parents to her new mansion in the Green fields area of the city and finally , Samuel was able to heave a sigh relief .

But his relief was soon water washed , when his father called him to his room for a dad - son private talk .

Samuel sat across his father on the leather sofa as he waited for his dad to start the conversation . By the looks of it , he was already getting a hunch that it would be a bad news for him .

"Samuel , you do know , right that Hu Lihua is your childhood friend ?"

Samuel just nodded his head in approval .

"Do you remember her , when she and you used to play hide and seek and we elders would call you to take care of her . You would always take care of her like none else and …"

Samuel didn't like to be moved in circles so he cut in between as he pointed his father to get straight to the point .

Father Chen felt a bit embarrassed over the fact that he was stopped by his own son in moving around the sentences . So he took a breath in and out as if steeling himself for the worst case scenario and then with a serious face on , he said

"You and Lihua have been childhood friends and more than that , you have been childhood sweethearts . I hope you would have figured out by now that she likes you , more appropriately she loves you and I guess it's time for you to marry soon and give me and your mom grandchildren .And even what's more is that it would bring benefits to our family business and the company . You see, you have been declining all the blind dates that I have set up for you but I think maybe xiao lihua is the best candidate for you . what do you think ?"

[ Hey guys, I think it might be a bit confusing for some readers to see that the childhood friend , Hu Lihua doesn't seem to be mature or maybe kind of a bit flirtatious kind of girl . The fact is just that she likes Samuel a lot and hence she acts like that , she is otherwise very serious girl with great stubborn attitude .
