Don’t Say Anything

Luthiel glanced at her, and on seeing her lying shivering on the cold floor, he quickly rushed towards her and pulled her into his arms.

"Hey! You okay?" He asked, and Yennefer slowly raised her head to look at him.

"How did you find-"

"Don't say anything." He hushed her up and carefully lifted her into his arms.

He allowed the heat energy within him to circulate through his whole upper body and start to warm her up.

"How do I get out of here?" He turned to Damian, and Damian walked towards him.

"There is a portal between the human world and this world, so if you free me now, I can... take you both out."

He explained, and a slight breath of annoyance exited Luthiel's nose.

He looked down at Yennefer, and without saying a word, he gently caressed her face, instantly putting her to sleep.

"Wait, she doesn't know who you are?" Damian, who was confused as to why he would knock Yennefer out, inquired, and he glared at him.

"None of your business." He slowly laid Yennefer down on the floor and grabbed Damian by the hand.

He gazed at the spell-bound chain around his wrist, and with a deep breath escaping his nose, he gripped onto it.

He slowly shut his eyes, and a few seconds later, the chain began to shake furiously, causing Damian's arms to turn completely red in pain.

"This is really hurting me!" He groaned, realizing how unbearable the pain was becoming, but Luthiel, who didn't have the time to respond, gripped the chain even more tightly, and in less than thirty seconds, the chain burst apart into smithereens, sending both him and Damian crashing onto the cold floor.

A slight growl of pain fled Damian's throat, and he sat up on the ground.

He stood up on his feet and walked towards Luthiel to help him up, but Luthiel, who didn't like to be touched, slapped his hand away and stood up on his own.

"Haish! Are you still like this? You are an adult, and a powerful one at that. No one is going take you, so relax."

He smiled at him, and triggered heavily by this, Luthiel immediately gripped him by the collar of his clothing and bellowed at him in rage.

"This is your last warning! Know your place and don't you ever again...CROSS THAT LINE!" He warned, and Damian gulped before slowly nodding his head.

"Okay. But I have to say, you have gotten way stronger than the last time I saw you. I don't understand why you have yet to carry out your plan."

He said, and Luthiel harshly let go of his collar before walking towards Yennefer.

"Take us out of here!" He ordered, and Damian grabbed his hand and dismissed them in the blink of an eye.

They returned back into the dusty room, and almost immediately, Luthiel proceeded to make his way out.

"Am sure you know how to return everything back to normal; otherwise, you will lose your freedom again."

He said, and before Damian could respond to his words, he strolled out of the room and proceeded up the two flights of stairs to return back to Yennefer's room.

He pushed the door open and stepped out, then ambled towards the bed.

He gently laid Yennefer down on the bed and covered her with the sheet.

Damian strode out of the door and shut it again, making it invisible just like it was before.

"This is meant to be near this wall, right?" He asked with his finger pointed at the sword rack, and Luthiel slightly nodded his head at him.

He pushed the rack back onto the wall and proceeded to follow Luthiel out of the chamber, but Luthiel turned around and frowned at him.

"You stay back here and look after her till she is awake. Also, you should keep yourself from being seen. I am sure you know the kind of trouble you will be in if you are seen."

He cautioned and walked out of the chamber.

Damian stared at his disappearing back, and with a deep breath exiting his nose, he turned around to look at Yennefer, who was lying on the bed.

"Time to babysit a grown woman." He smiled to himself and strolled to sit down on the chair beside her bed.
