Family

Arthur stood at his room and saw that it maintained very clean and organized. Having a sickly body at a young age, he spends most of his time reading or just daydreaming of small things.

He was never fond of eating good food for he was not like his mother who emphasizes having nutritious, home-made food.

Arthur's mother is the third daughter of a prominent family on another city which trades on spices and other herbs. Having said so, they also run many different restaurants even here in Sunstone city. Kathlyn herself is a certified Level 2 cook, which means she is a very damn good cook. However, she only cooks on special occasions or when she is in a very good mood.

Kathlyn decided to cook every single specialty on her arsenal. Arthur saw her busily instruct the maids to prepare the ingredients so he just directly went to his room.

He wanted to sleep for a while but there are two little persons sleeping on his bed. They are his little brothers, identical twins only younger than him by two years.

Skye and Dylan often used their brother's room as their playing area. After the maids finished cleaning here, no one would come disturb them and even their parents seldom come here.

Today, they felt very sleepy and decided to sleep here rather than to return back to their rooms. After they woke up, there was a tall kid leaning near the room window.

"Are you here to kidnap us too?" The talkative one, Dylan, calmly asked the stranger in the room.

"You are calm for kids about to be kidnapped."

"My mother told me that our older was kidnapped too but he never cried because he knows our mother and father will save him. We are the same too."

"Well, your older brother returned today and this room is mine. If you wish to play here in the future, make sure that I am here. Go on, mother is cooking and you need to tidy yourselves before going down."

The twins were instantly shocked by his words. But soon their faces gave sweet smiles and they ran towards Arthur and gave him a hug.

"Brother, welcome home. Bring us out to play sometime. We miss you so much. Father told us that he was thinking of us taking the hybrid ceremony tomorrow and a year from now send us to Invictus Academy near Flordelain Kingdom.".

"Go, I will think about it. Wait for me downstairs and we will eat together."

Skye and Dylan both giggled and excitedly run out of the room.

"Master, those two are pretty good. I didn't think that potential shields will present themselves the moment you return."

"Idiot, what are you saying Bolton? Those two are master's brothers. He would never used them that way right Master?"

"You are the idiot one Thea. Master can make those two very strong. There is nothing more safe than the power protect oneself."

"Master, Bolton has a point. You may have us to support you but you are still too weak to fully utilize us. While you grow stronger, you need someone to mask you even just a little, a misdirection. Well, for your brother's safety, I have a back-up plan for that if it is your will".

Arthur was still silent for a long time just looking outside without bothering to answer them. After a while, he decided to change clothes and head downstairs. Before he opened the doors to his room, the final verdict was given.

"Argon, kindly look for a suitable white skill seed for the both of them. Bolton and Thea will help me gather information for now. And Bolton, do not compare my brothers to mere shields, they will be my future generals."

A king will develop his subjects who in turn will fight for him.

The table is already set when he arrived at the dinner table. Sure enough, the twins were there waving excitedly for him to come over. His father, Jeremy, is happily chatting with his mom his right side.

Arthur chose to sit at the other of the table which is the center sit. Finally, they were served food by the maids who were by the extra person, but they soon realized that this was the long lost son of this family.

His mother really went all out with this meal as the food never seem to stop appearing on the table one after the other.

Jeremy and Kathlyn were very shock to see their son's appetite. He would eat elegantly like a noble but the food served to him now already exceeds twenty dishes.

"I don't think we have enough food stored for you my son. Hahahaha"

"Dear, what rubbish are you saying, just eat and we will get some more".

With his mother's teasing and his father's rebuttal, Arthur finally stopped eating quickly.

"Mother's cooking is still very delicious. It has been so long, that is why I ate so much."

After the meal, the whole family decided to bond in the garden and talked about what happened when Arthur was gone. The twins would occassionaly asked questions about what did Arthur do for four years, what he has seen and stuff like that. Arthur just smiled at them and would answer one word: training.

"Father, Dylan told me that my brothers would take the hybrid ceremony tomorrow. I have a way to help them get a better skill seeds and with your approval, I would like to help them harmonize with it."

"Do you really have a way to do it?"
