My Darling (2)

3rd PoV

It was a sunny day and the remains of the rain from the previous night brightens the streets as the sun shines upon it.

"It's almost time for you to go Alicia."

Tael says it rather quietly and tears seem to gather in Alicia's eyes as she looks up to him, while his sister Pastella and Alicia's mother silently move away with the luggage to give them privacy.

"But I'm already missing you, Tael.."

Inside the space station Alicia suddenly hugs him and he strokes her soft hair with a gentle hand.

The young man closes his eyes as he holds her to him and he takes in the sweet scent of strawberries and vanilla of her, it calms him down and he starts to tighten his grip.

The thought of her leaving him also makes his heart ache, but he reminds himself to keep calm and control the strength of his hug.

"We will meet again and you will call me, won't you?"

Tael whispers into her ear and tears that had gathered in her eyes were softly taken away by him.

He looks up to see that the time of her departure comes closer and releases his hold on her, while he strokes her hair to calm her down.

"Of course! I-I will call you when I arrive and... and you will do your best for the millitary exam next week, too!"

She steps back from him and sents him a bright smile with finger hearts and a small upwards tug of his lips made her heart beat faster.

His small smile gives her the courage to tuck on his shirt for him to bow a little down and she kisses him with a smile with her eyes closed.

After a while she releases her hold on his shirt and runs up to Stella to hug her and kissing her mother on the cheek as she takes her luggage and bidding her goodbye to them, she walks towards the gate and turns around to wave back at them the last time with a smile.

"I will become an Idol and come back!"

Her own words strengthen her determination and the hard work she put her body into as her dream gets closer with each step, she won't back down, because she has people here that support her till the end here at Terra.

Tael watches her disappear inside the gate and turns towards his sister and Alicia's mother beside him.

"We should go back home."

With a heavy nod, his sister takes his hand and reminds herself that Teal's exam is starting soon and he will also be leaving behind...

"Brother..I-I want to help you a-and also join the mil.."

"Don't worry about it and just stay here on Terra, safe from these bastards."

He stops her sentences and tugs her towards the exit, his eyes darkening at the thought of joining the military.

'I will also be leaving soon and leave Stella here, they shouldn't know that she exist, since I myself am already enough of a forbidden existance to them...'

Looking at her rather dispirited profile he tightens the grip of their joined hands and he quietly says to her, not wanting her to worry about him as she should be worried about herself.

"I don't want them to know that you exist as long as I don't have the power against them or else they would have taken you away..."

"I-I know.. it was just thought..."

Pastella trailed off and stopped walking. She looks back towards the gate and made a silent promise in her heart as her brother just watches her.

'Someday I also want to leave Terra to find my own dream in the stars..'
