Ji Nixia

"Oh my gosh! that's the heir to the Johannes family, Mark Johannes!" A young girl from a wealthy family exclaimed.

"Wow... he's acquainted with the Ji family?! Ji Fei must have saved the world countless times to get such a young man!"

"He's just eighteen years old and he's already established two jewelry company under his name!"

"Really?! I heard that he's Ji Fei's childhood sweetheart!"

"Let's not conclude but she's lucky"

Ji Fei blushed deeply at this comments and praises as she walked with her mother towards him. She hid shyly behind her mother,her voice meek.

"Brother... Mark"

His smile even went deeper as his teeth shone brightly making him even more handsome. He loved the way she addressed him.

"Madam Ji... Master Ji..." He greeted her parents both and they smiled jovially answering with pat's on his back. He finally turned to face Ji Fei.

"Little Fei fei, happy birthday." He extended the beautiful car keys to her and she collected it , their hands brushing and she blushed deeper.

"Silly child! why don't you show this young man around while we attend to the other guests! come on now... don't be shy!" Her mother pushed her forward to take him somewhere else.

The people around started to laugh and smile along with the parents.

"Hahaha! look at how she's suddenly become like a small bunny when she sees him! I'll say that she is in love!"

"The strong and gentle Ji Fei has caved in! What a nice thing to be young."

"Hah! didn't you notice that Young master Mark's eyes never left her the whole time! He's the one in love!"

"Yeah! he planned the birthday suprise for her with her mother!... that sly boy! Using her favourite colour to earn her brownie points!"

"So he's the one who caved in!"

"No...they were both mutual!"

In a nice Bamboo garden, She sat down with Mark as they fed the little koi fishes with fish feed and bread. The fish would occasionally turn up to the surface to eat them and swim back down.

"Brother Mark...I have something to tell you..." Ji Fei said nervously. She tugged at her gown.

"Alright... I'm listening." He smiled softly at her and her heart skipped a beat.

"I...i- I'm..." She stuttered as her words caught up her throat.

Mark laughed softly and tenderly pulled her towards him and his lips landed on hers. She froze in shock and pleasant surprise, her heart skipping beats.

"Me too... I'm in love with you..." He hugged her and she leaned on him in a blissful happiness.

What she didn't notice was his gaze on a certain somebody who indifferently went back into the kitchen to continue cleaning. The person did not even know that he was here neither did she care about him...

His chest felt suffocated as he watched the girl walking away. He did all these so that he will know if Ji Nixia would be jealous. She really didn't care.

He shifted his attention to her sister, Ji Fei and they chatting about various things that they both have in common. His mind wandering.

She was walking down the hallway after cleaning the courtyard when two hefty men pounced on her and tie her up with a rope and stuffing her mouth with a piece of thick clothe.

*Mfft! *mff!

She panicked and struggled frantically.

"Take care of this little wench for me and make sure that you post it the media..." Came a very chilly voice of a woman.

She stopped struggling and looked up at the person in hatred and anger. Angela... Her stepmother! The current madam Ji.

"I told you to stay away from that young master Mark you ugly thing... but you wouldn't listen...I guess you have to disappoint your father." She bent down over to talk to her face.

"Take her away from here..." She ordered and they carried her through the back into a black van.

She was in a daze as she didn't expect this woman to go this far to make her life miserable. There was only one possible explanation. She wanted her dead.

One of the men in the car was smoking a cigarette and fiddling with the lighter. His eyes were studying this girl with an unkept hair.

Her skin was really great and smooth. She had a great body and her lips...

He brushed it with his hands and leaned towards her while blowing the smoke on her face. She coughed and turned away from him and he laughed. He can't wait.

Inside the hotel,they managed to get her inside the room and locked the door. She was helplessly lying on the bed as they had forcefully fed her some sort of drugs.

She bite her lip, tasting the blood while forcing herself to stay awake. She quickly folded her legs and forced her arms to the front.

She reached into her shirt front to remove a tiny razor blade she usually keep for emergencies and started to quickly cut the ropes on her legs and arms.

She was free and she carried an ATM card one the floor close to a pile of empty bottles and papers. She leaned on the door to hear if anyone was around and the place was definitely silent.

She picked the lock with the card and the door opened and she peeked outside to see no one near. They probably thought that she wouldn't escape.

Her vision started to blur as she tried to reach the end of the hallway and she saw them coming to the room they had kept her not to far away.

She quickly hide behind the corner and leaned on a door panting heavily. But to her shock, the door opened and she fell inside.

She quickly looked around and there was a lump on the bed so she decided to lock the door and rush into the bathroom as her body heated up.

She closed the bathroom door and turned around only to see a pair of strikingly darkened eyes looking at her and she gasped.

He was breathing heavily and leaning on the wall. He was in so much pain that he closed his eyes. She licked her bloody lips and that was her worst mistake because he suddenly pulled her when he saw her doing that and she screamed.
