The very first time I laid eyes on her ethereal figure, I was utterly dazed. I couldn't believe what was happening. 

How long did I gaze upon her? An hour? Two hours? Or perhaps the entire night while I was dreaming…

That was the only time I didn't wake up in a breathless panic state from that nightmare. Instead, my mind was left blissfully blank… I felt strangely refreshed.

Even though her face remained veiled from my sight, I felt an odd sense of joy. Right, for a while, I couldn't even concentrate on my work at all. All I could think was about her. 

I yearned to see her again in my dreams… 

However, much to my dismay, that dream never graced me again. As time went on, my memories of her became more and more hazy. To be honest, they were never truly vivid to begin with.
