After the day I knelt to him, for some days Jonathan has been silent. He did not call, he did not visit the company, and if I needed to talk to him concerning the project, it was his assistant, Zeke, whom I always talked to.
I stared at my reflections in the mirror as I cleaned my face with a face wiper. As I was done cleaning my face, I applied a lotion on my face and some oil, then shut my eyes, raising my face so the treatment could dry my face.
Still, in that position, I heard a soft knock on my room door. "Come in," the door opened and I heard two footsteps approaching me.
I opened my eyes to see Marion and Stella. "Mom," Marion gave me a warm hug and was about to kiss my cheeks when I made him halt.
"There's some things on my face so you can't kiss my cheeks," I explained, and he smiled. He took my hand and kissed the back of my palm.
