Instead of eating the food set by Lucy, I ate some fresh fruits and got ready to go to the hospital.
I didn't trust Lucy anymore and I knew that Lucy would use Gerard's absence as an opportunity to strike.
I got ready and was about to leave my room but stopped in my steps. I walked to the curtain and held it for a while.
I wanted to open it but in the end, I didn't and just walked away. I figured that something strange happens whenever the curtains were opened and although I didn't know why, I guessed it was because I was already used to living with Gerard's lifestyle.
I sighed and walked out of the room and walked to a different room where Lucy was ironing the clothes.
"I'll be out for a bit. I have some important things to take care of but don't worry, I'll be back before my curfew." I assured and she nodded with a smile.
If I didn't know her skims, I would have thought that she was an angel with an innocent soul.
