The dream.
As Marissa walked away with the books in her hands Sasha stood there with a million thoughts busting her brain she stood there quite but anxiously she was puzzled as to why her mother is suddenly so strict and angry and why she won't let her read the books. Sasha was tensed
"what is it that aunt Zoe had written in that book," she thought to herself continuing with
"Well whatever it is mommy obviously doesn't want me to read it" and she continued to unpack her stuff.
Soon later as the room was all clean she made her bed and lay on her bed she kept thinking to herself that "Why can't I read the books I just wanna know how aunt Zoe was. One gets curious after all, all mom talks about is aunty"
as the night went by Sasha couldn't sleep the thoughts about her aunt like was she a bad person? was she a good person? where is she now? kept her awake. Soon it was 2 in the morning and Sasha thought to herself "Should I try and find the book tomorrow morning? I'll just be really stealth and find the book and hide it with me".
This thought made her excited and she was all ready to find it and as this thought continued in her head she fell asleep and had a dream, a dream which she shouldn't have had...
In the morning...
*Birds chirping*
Sasha woke up to the sound of the curtains moving, "Good morning my little angel" Marissa says to Sasha and then walks towards her and kisses her forehead, and says "Now why don't you get up and wash your face change and come down or else you'll be late to your first day of school",
Sasha grunts "Ugh but we just shifted mommy can I go from tomorrow?".
"No, I already talked to your school and they said it will be better for you to attend from the first day. Now get up lazy daughter of mine and come downstairs fast." Marissa then walks downstairs and starts to prepare breakfast.
"But I wanted to go looking for the books, UGH" Sasha mutters to herself, "I guess ill just try to find the book after school", she then gets up and goes to get freshen up and goes downstairs.
As Sasha sits down to eat her breakfast her mom brings her a warm plate of pancakes with whipped cream on top with some chocolate syrup, looking at that Sasha forgets everything and starts eating her delicious breakfast but as she takes her second bite she remembers the dream and goes "Mommy you know I had a weird dream last night", "What was it about honey?" Marissa replies sipping her coffee.
"It was about a woman with brown hair just the same colour as your coffee, She was wearing a very big and beautiful blue ballgown and she was dancing with a guy but I didn't get to see their faces but I did hear something like 'Your answer lies in the forest of white with a black sky about what goes from Z to E' or was it Z to A? I don't remember clearly."
*CRASH*
the mug of coffee falls from Marissa's hands, Sasha gets surprised by the sudden loud noise and looks at her mother and gets worried as Marissa's face is pale with shock and her hands trembling. "MOMMY ARE YOU OKAY?" asks Sasha, "I-I- Yeah I am totally fine the mug slipped from my hands that's all and why don't you finish your pancakes fast we also have to get to school or you'll be very late" replies Marissa with a tremble in her voice and eyes. As Sasha sees her mother she realizes she shouldn't have said anything and continues to eat her breakfast and packs her school bag.
Soon then they both get in their car and drive to school.
Marissa parks the car and gets out and waits for Sasha to get out but she doesn't. "Honey come out," says Marissa but Sasha doesn't reply. Marissa realizes that Sasha is scared to get out so she walks toward the opposite door and opens the door for Sasha and bends down "Sweety I know you are scared and it's fine it's your first day. You gotta go inside and make a lot of friends don't worry" and gives Sasha a smile "That's not what I am worried about mommy. I just wanna make sure you are alright. you dropped the mug and got all scared" Sasha replies and then gets out of the car.
*TRINGGGGGG* the school bell rang.
