"You, spare my life?"
Gort was beyond shocked to see the skeleton he had thought of killing previously had now spared him. But he didn't doubt it. The power he had just displayed left no doubts that if Aethereom wanted to kill him, he easily could. He didn't even have the guts to refer to him by any other name at this moment.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Gort yelled out as he disappeared into the forest at an incredible speed. It seemed that running for his life had enabled him to exceed his limits.
"I hope you are sure…" Aethereom whispered to himself. "Sometimes sparing a life can be a terrible evil and taking one a kindness to the world."
After pausing a moment, Aethereom spoke again.
"So be it."
