The Reunion

Bardock sends Goku flying with the punch making him crash through the ground. Resulting in a trench 3 feet deep and going 25ft long before Goku flips up and lands.

Everyone gasps at that while Goku holds his now aching arm he used to block.

Bardock powers up and while his ki flies around him he yells out, "So you forgot about us after we ordered you as a toddler not to forget us!? What an ungrateful son you are!"

I walk up and tap the angry Saiyan who whips towards me and yells right in my face, "WHAT?!"

Everyone gets ready for a fight to break out before I tell him, after wiping the spittle from my face. "Would it help if I said that he cracked his skull as a child on some sharp rocks and lost most of his memory?"

Bardocks energy shuts off faster than a switch as he is stunned. While Gokus mom is now crying sadly at the news of why their son has forgotten them.

Goku looks confused at them both before they bring everyone together to hear their tale. (The renewed one from Dragonball Super Broly.)

And Goku is understandably shocked at how he has a brother. He is one of the few survivors of the Saiyan race. And how there is a great evil under the name Frieza out there taking over planets.

Goku at the end is left stunned as he sits in the chair. Chi chi is looking at her children with a mixture of emotions. She still loves them but now knows why they had tails at birth. She hugs them close accepting them and their heritage, but looks to her husband as she tries to understand how to help him come to grips with this new information.

The others are all reeling from the news.

Meanwhile Piccolo grunts at the news. And wonders if he is truly a demon. He goes up to the only one who would know at the moment.

He decides to ask, "Hey!"

Bardock turns to the green man and wonders what is up, "Yes Namekian?"

Piccolos question dies there as he asks, "I'm a what?"

Bardock sighs and breaks down what Piccolo is as well. Including what he remembers of their brief cultural history from a database he read once as a raid captain.

At the end Piccolo is contemplating something before he heads off to Kamis lookout so they can contemplate things together.

Everyone is stunned at the truth of how the earth's greatest champion. And its former greatest villain. Are both aliens.

But soon I am next to Goku. And he looks at me with those wide eyes while he is sitting.

I do what any good friend should do. I slap him on the back then bring him into a hug.

He is stunned and our friends are all gaping at me as I then say, "So you're an Alien? So what?"

Everyone is shocked while Bardock is grinning as he can see where I am going with this.

Goku tries to stammer out something but fails. And Chi chi goes, "Youre not shocked?"

I then ask, "Why should we be? I mean sure Gokus an alien! But... Does that mean he is any different than who we know him as?"

They all look at me with sudden epiphany faces as they realize that while this does explain Gokus strength. It doesn't mean he is any different than the lovable fighter we have come to know and care for.

One by one our friends join the hug. Chi chi goes first with Gohan helping to hug his daddy. While little Gine grabs his finger when he reaches for her and smiles and kisses Chi chi as she joins the hug.

Soon Tien comes next with a back pat and keeps his hand there. Chiaotzu joins by floating up and patting Gokus head. Then Yamcha and Roshi both put their comforting hands on Gokus back. Bulma joins next with a hug as Oolong and Puar both give him wide smiles.

We all turn to Bardock and Gine as Chi chi beckons the two parents of Goku over to come hug their son.

Bardock scoffs and is about to say something. But feels a sudden chill as he looks at his wife Gine.

She is giving him the scary smile that promises punishment if he doesn't join with their new extended family.

Bardock stiffly joins the hug not sure how hard to hug while Gine is glomping our friends and family together with us.

We all hug it out for a solid five minutes. Before we separate finally and reach an agreement that this changes nothing about our friendship.

In fact it clears up the giant ape form we saw a few times as Goku grew up.

We all laugh as we realize that this explains the giant appetites as Chi chi realizes why her breasts are drained of milk at every feeding with Gohan when he was younger, and with little Gine now who drinks as much as Gohan did. She laments the position she finds herself in as Gine pats her on the back and goes, "I know your pain. But only to an extent. I am the same race and I was built for that. That and our children only spend a few months in our arms before being placed in nursery pods for about another year or so until they are toddlers."

Chi chi gets more information and begins to bond with her new mother in law over stories of when Goku was younger and how the saiyans raised their children. While Chi chi explains earths child raising culture.

Meanwhile Gohan is enjoying snuggling with his new grandma as Gine happily chats with her daughter in law and cuddles with her grandson in her lap.

Bardock is exchanging combat stories with the other fighters and bonding with his son over the food they are serving.

As we all get back into full party mode we suddenly feel and see Piccolo come back.

He has Kami and Popo with him. They are all serious faced as we stand a few paces away from each other.

Soon we see Kami nudge Piccolo forward.

Piccolo grunts and then sighs, "Listen. After much deliberation and discussions. Along with what I know now. I am sorry for trying to take over the world. The truth is... I have come to see you as comrades. Only comrades!! Don't be getting any funny ideas! So I will be looking forward to the future years together as your ally from now on! But only as an ally!"

Everyone cheers and Goku offers piccolo a toast of water to share to solidify their new found alliance. Piccolo shakes his hand and nods with a neutral face.

Being the troll I am I decide to add my two cents.

"Aw love you too big green!"

Piccolos glare would have killed me if I was my old 200 and lower power level self. But he decided to be more vocal, "Shut! The Fuck! Up!"

I laugh as he unknowingly referenced his tfs counter part. And I chuckle realizing I basically became his version of Nail. Always goading him with quips.

Worth it.

I simply chuckle with everyone else as he grumbles and begins to make plans with everyone to train harder in the coming year for the next threat.

Bardock hears this and promises to be ready to be revived once we find dragonballs strong enough to bring him and Gine back, despite how long they have been dead. They wanted to help defend the home their son and family have made for themselves.

We all promise to check the Namekian dragonballs if we get the chance.

Which given my knowledge. We will definitely have the chance to do so.

We all relax and enjoy the rest of the party before we go to Gokus house as a group.

Chi chi and Gine have hit it off like old friends. Thanks to us being near Gohan all his young life, Gine quickly became his best and favorite Grandma. And Goku, Bardock and I were all talking training techniques and how to fight more efficiently.

We made sure to gather at the house after flying there. Bulma said leave the clean up to her and her bots.

Which to me translated to Yamcha and the bots. But eh... He needs to earn his room at capsule corp.

Especially since they aren't dating at this point. She wanted more attention and Yamcha was not the right guy to be asking for that. So they broke up.

They are still friends.

But she is mostly just putting up with him simply to defend the earth and to improve her technology she is developing to help us train harder for future threats. It works for now.

Until Vegeta... Meh one bridge at a time.

We land and get cozy. It is getting late but I realize a great opportunity is here. I uncapsule the Senzu bean bag which still has 40 beans left and grin at Goku.

I then speak to Bardock.

"Hey Bardock."

He turns to me after hugging and kissing Gine before she followed Chi chi to the childrens rooms to put them to bed and talk with Chi chi more.

"Yeah small one? Wait... Krillin! That was it sorry!"

I wave him off knowing his memory from repeated concussions on missions isn't the best anymore as I ask him, "How about teaching your son and I some of your moves before bed? Make it a solid three way spar?"

Bardock thinks it over as he checks how much longer he and Gine have. They only have 16 hours left and half of them would be used by sleeping. He grins in an excited Saiyan way before saying, "You're on Krillin! Son! Let's see how well you measure up to your old man!"

Goku grins in an excited way as well. We go tell the wives where we are going before they tell us to be careful.

With a kiss of Goku to Chi chi. And a kiss from Bardock to Gine. I lament that I will need to wait another 6 years before I can finally see 18 and woo her to becoming my wife.

But I'm a patient man. And Roshi has a lot of material at his place if I get too pent up. And I have confirmed... 18 and any other wives I might woo while I'm here will be very happy with me. I am indeed... A grower.

Bardock and Goku follow me to my mountain top where I used to train before moving in with Chi chi and Goku two years ago.

We all take up stances and prepare.
