The sports festival

"Mineta, is it just me, or don't you look a bit...different?" Kaminari tells Mineta who was sitting next to him, class 1-A was in the waiting room, waiting to be called. Everyone was wearing the U.A gym uniform.

Mineta has changed a lot during the 2 weeks he had of training, growing from 3'6 to 4'8, He was going through a growth spurt and was only going to keep getting taller. The muscles on his body were a lot more noticeable, his face has changed a little making him more handsome.

The balls on his head have only gotten smaller and his hair was starting to grow, he might look a little off for now, but soon enough, he'll be one of the best-looking people. He didn't look ugly now, just the hair with the purple balls on his head looked off. Soon enough, the balls on his head will disappear.

"I think I look the same" Mineta replied, Kaminari looked at him as if he was insane, "No that's just not possible" Kaminari dumbfoundedly said.

A few seconds passed, and, Iida announced it was soon time to leave, while everyone was talking and chatting, Mineta stared at the main character Izuku Midoriya. People hate him because of the fact his what you call a crybaby, always crying, and the fact that the only time he started working toward his goal was after All might started training him. Mineta didn't care though, he has a good heart and that's what actually matters.

Unfortunately, Mineta didn't read the manga, so he didn't know how Izuku turned out or anything, but he did know that people talked about a war arc. Of course, now, he can't be sure that it'll happen but he'll have to watch out.

'Thinking about Izuku, I'll have to do something about All for one, hmm, maybe that'll work' He thought with a devilish smirk, the future just got more interesting.

"Midoriya" Shoto called out, everyone's attention switched to them, "what is it Todoroki?" Izuku responded in surprise, he wasn't expecting Shoto to talk to him.

"On an objective basis, I think I'm above you in terms of practical strength," Shoto said stating the obvious with his stoic face, "what?! ah, uh, yeah..." Izuku stuttered a little bit not knowing where Shoto was going with this.

"You've managed to get all might's eye on you. I feel no need to pry into that, but...I'm going to beat you" Shoto said, I bit of a commotion occurred, Kirishima being the manly man he was stepped in to try and help out his bro Izuku.

Then Izuku did his canon speech, while all of this was happening Mineta was thinking and staring at something more important...'Tsuyu's ass is just out of this world' Mineta thought while looking at it as if he was examining it.

Soon enough, it was time for them to leave, everyone walked into the stadium with Present Mic loudly introducing them and Mineta felt a feeling he had never felt before, excitement? Thrill? He couldn't tell, but he liked it. The number of people cheering was more than amazing.

He didn't care though, he wasn't one to care about people staring at him or judging him while doing something, it was more fun actually because he just gets to show off a little. Mineta was walking beside Tsuyu, which now, the height difference wasn't that much, only a few inches.

He noticed that Tsyu as well didn't care about the crowd, not that he was going to help her or anything...what a tsundere. Moving on, Present Mic introduce the other classes, of course, not as he did with class 1-A, after all the focus was mostly on the heroics class.

Everyone then proceeded to make lines in front of the stage Midnight was in, she said a few things and then ordered Katsuki to get up there and say something inspirational, he said the same thing, nothing big happens, everything repeats just as in the Anime.

Then a screen shows up, blah blah blah, of course, it was the obstacle race, people lined up, anyway Mineta was very prepared, he trained his endurance like crazy and before this, he drank a whole lot of water, so he was very prepared.

He had this whole obstacle race planned out, and he was sure...that the spot he was going to get was...well that's for you to find out. Mineta looked at the green buttons, his adrenaline going crazy, he was beyond excited, everyone slowly waited, sweat drops running down their cheek, and then.

"STARTTTTTTT!!!"

Everyone began sprinting as fast as they could to go through the very narrow tunnel, but Mineta had other plans, he instantly jumped in the air, high enough for people to notice, at least 8 feet, of course, he used the people around him to boost him and then...he ran above everyone, stepping on their heads as if they were nothing but stepping stones.

A few seconds passed and finally, Shoto froze the entire ground, everyone froze in their tracks, except Mineta, finally, he made it out and ran a little behind Shoto, he was now in second place and this was very surprising to Aizawa.

Of course, the other members of class 1-A didn't stop for long, Mineta slid through the ice as if he was a pro ice skater, with quite the speed, while members of class 1-a ran a little behind him, he didn't need to use his quirk for this.

Finally, Shoto and Mineta reached the..."ROBO INFERNO" Present Mic shouted, making people cheer with all their might. Shoto stood there watching the zero-pointers and Mineta caught up to him, standing some space away from him.

Shoto side glanced at Mineta but didn't give him any thought, students from further behind made their comments about the zero pointers while Present Mic was shouting, finally, Shoto did the same as in the anime, he froze the zero pointer in front of him with ease, and began running, this was the opportunity Mineta was waiting for.

Mineta followed Shoto, in terms of running speed, Mineta was above Shoto, especially after the research he did on how to run faster. So he was only a few feet away slowly catching up to Shoto.

'This kid...' Aizawa thought while looking at the camera in the stadium that showed Mineta, a lot of the teachers were surprised but most of them just thought it was luck, Mineta and shoto passed through the Robo inferno with relative ease. Mostly because Mineta was using Shoto.

Finally not long after they reached the second obstacle, "THE FALL" Screamed Aizawa, Mineta took a peek to see how far it went, 'It's like there's no end' He thought to himself.

He turned around and saw people catching up to him, he looked back in front of him, and Mineta grabbed a ball from his head. He grabbed 2 balls from his head and threw them onto the ropes, he repeated this process for about 1 minute.

Once he finished finishing, he started hopping from ball to ball, meanwhile, Shoto was more than halfway through this obstacle, Shoto turned around to see the people behind him but he was more than surprised to see Mineta hopping toward the end of the obstacle. He was still in first place but Mineta was gaining up on him.

"That kid in first place quirk is amazing, but the kid in second place is definitely something else!"

"I know right, he made use of the guy in the first place and kept close to him and barely has used his quirk!"

"That guy definitely has brains but then again, he has such a small body, he might only be smart!"

Pro-heroes started talking about the students, and who they have eyes on, Mineta definitely was earning quite the reputation, but some pro-heroes just couldn't go by the fact that he was using Shoto and hadn't done much himself.

Except that now they were seeing his quirk and it was definitely something useful for support, unfortunately, Mineta didn't have his eyes on being a support hero.

Eventually, Shoto reached the end, he looked back and saw Mineta only being a few feet away once again as well as Bakugo coming from the sky, he turned around and started sprinting at full speed toward the next obstacle, 'how has he managed to stick to me so close!' Shoto thought, he was more than perplexed at how Mineta is doing this good as well as the other members of class 1-A.

But they were too busy focusing on themselves, Shoto soon reached the last obstacle of the race, the minefield, he carefully and slowly went through the minefield, but Mineta, well he just stood there.

"Uhhh, it seems that second place is thinking of a great plan!... I think" Present Mic shouted, it wasn't that he was thinking of a plan, he was just waiting for the tool of his plan to come. More and more people reached the Minefield but Mineta just stood by the side waiting, this was confusing to many people now, no one had a clue what his plan was, but of course, Nezu had some ideas.

Finally, the tool he was waiting for came, Izuku Midoriya, Mineta watched as Izuku took a few seconds to examine the field and think of something, Izuku then walked a little into the field and started digging the mines together, but he was caught surprised by Mineta who was crouching next to him. Izuku didn't notice until he was almost done finishing his plan.

"Hey there Izuku, I already know what your plan is, can I join you? If you let me join I promise to get you first place" Mineta told Izuku with a smile, Izuku got nervous but the nervousness quickly went away, it wasn't time to get nervous, he thought about it for a quick second and agreed.

"Okay!" Izuku agreed, after a few more seconds of setting up the stage it was time, Mineta put two of his balls on Izuku's back and held on to it hard, and then...

*BOOMMM*

A big explosion of pink dust happened, and everyone's attention switched to it, after a few seconds people could see Izuku and Mineta flying through the sky with Mineta on Izuku's back and Izuku holding on to the piece of a zero pointer.

Izuku and Mineta flew through the minefield with incredible speed passing first and second place who were fighting, "DEKUUU!!" Shouted Bakugo, the focus Bakugo had on Shoto switched to Izuku and the same went to Shoto.

Bakugo using his quirk flew above the ground catching up to Izuku and Mineta meanwhile Todoroki ran while freezing the ground, Mineta and Izuku were losing speed, finally, as if time was slowing down, all 4 of them were on the same spot, and Izuku felt the weight of Mineta getting off his back and he heard him say, "You better thank me later"

Mineta jumped forward and did a flip, he threw 2 balls each to Bakugo and Shoto, the ball landed right in front of their foot, and right after the 2 balls landed.

*BOOOM*

Izuku once again used the landmines to boost him, thankfully he didn't hit Mineta or the other 2. Bakugo and Todoroki's movement was stopped because of the purple ball they stepped on, Mineta smirked and kept running toward the Finish line.

The crowd was going wild, all the pro-heroes and teachers couldn't believe their eyes, it was such an epic moment, the Present mic and Aizawa were saying a few things but Mineta was too focused on sprinting as fast as he could toward the finish line to care.

Izuku ran with all his might, he ran through the tunnel with Mineta following behind, and finally...

"IZUKU MIDORIYA MADE A HUGE SPLASH!"

Just like that Izuku made it to first place and not long after, Mineta ran into the stadium with him being second place. Mineta looked in front of him and he saw the number of winner's points only getting higher and higher, was Izuku truly the victor?
