2 Chapter 2

Michael gasped at the sight of Felix's office. Not only was the office heavenly it was classy. He had never been to an office this beautiful in his entire life and he had been to a lot of offices.

The office was all white with golden furniture's. A huge parlour with a massive library by the side.

What made the office more unique was the paintings around it. The whole office was covered in paintings.

Another thing that called for his attention is the big keyboard that rested by the side of the office. He played too and he knew Felix did. The guy performed in orchestras. He was a singer, painter, everything.

He heard someone clear his throat and he immediately cleared his throat coming back to his senses.

He was very embarrassed now, how could he let himself be carried away, He thought fighting the urge to not die from shame.

He walked up to Felix almost gasping again. Felix was tall maybe 6ft 4 or something and huge. The suit he wore did nothing to hide his bulging muscles and his eyes were so golden it was unbelievable his chiseled jaw gave him a cold look.

His  presence was drowning. Michael actually felt scared. Taking in a deep breath Michael stretched his hands forward. "Michael Bill." He said as a way of introduction.

Felix gave him a once over ignoring his hands. Michael had never felt as humiliated as he did then. He felt useless. But he couldn't back away now. Not when he had finally come this far.

Felix sat down taking control of everything. "There is no need for an introduction. No need for pleasantries mic__ Mr Michael what do you want?" He asked coldly.

Michael felt so small and humiliated. They were right after all Felix Montenegro is a heartless monster. He thought not sitting for fear of what Felix might think if he sat down.

He wished there was another way to help his company. If there was, he never would have come to ask for help from Felix. He never should have! He thought bitterly.

The man might as well have been a monster. Michael sighed.

The way Felix stared at Michael, so charismatic with a blank expression Michael felt he would squirm under his gaze.

For the past seven years after college Felix had taken control of his life. He wanted so much to be away from his families shadow and he had strived for it. He had strived so hard for what he had now Learning over five different, languages indulging in over 20 different kind of business.

He had been ruthless and cold. Daring and strong. He wanted no one to control him anymore he wanted so much to be independent it was slaving. He wanted to be his own man not like the boy he was when they had taken him away from Michael.

He had missed Michael all these years. For all those years he suffered and strived Michael had been in his mind, dream and even in the air he breathed. He had been the only user of his heart.

He had done all this for Michael, he had built all this for him. He had lived for him and worked for him. He knew he couldn't do anything about his love for him until he was independent.

And although he had been a few years past the thought of Michael still always sends an overwhelming fear of rejection down his spine.

He had decided to go after him when he had gotten a call from his company scheduling an important meeting with him. His secretary had almost called off the meeting being that he never spoke to such small companies.

But then his private investor had told him about Michaels company bankruptcy and he had asked his secretary to schedule a meeting with him. You should have seen her face. The surprise on her face was hilarious.

He knew Michael would not be able to recognize him again although in his heart there was the hope that he would, but he had changed so much from the fat shy boy Michael knew him as. He did not expect Michael to recognize him none of his classmates would if they saw him now.

He could not explain the joy he felt when he was informed of Michael's presence. He had asked the secretary to call of all his meetings afterwards and she had done just that. Again with shock.

Felix never cancelled his meetings her boss had no social life as a Matter of fact he barely even had friends. She needed to be sure of what she heard.

"Sir are you sure about this? Are you sick?" She asked cocking an eyebrow surprise evident in her demeanor.

"I'm not sick Bertha you asked that I rest and now I want to. Isn't that good?" He asked smiling. Oh my God she almost gasped today was full of surprises Bertha thought. Her boss hardly ever smiled. And even when he did smile his smile was always intimidating. The kind of smile that sent fear down your spine, the kind you prefer a frown to.

"It's all good Sir." She cooed, still very shocked with all that was happening.

Something was fishy but she couldn't place her hands on what it was.

With that said she called in the handsome man standing in the waiting room she was very happy to see her boss smile. She was like a mother to him and she loved him like the son she never had.

Everyone thought him cold and ruthless which he could sometimes be but she knew that wasn't all he was.

Her boss was a good man deep inside only that pain and the world had given him a mask he wore effortlessly real only those who looked close enough could actually see his real face. She wished him all the happiness in the world and more so, that he found love. No matter who it was with.
