Chapter 3

Felix was tensed and each breath he took was a struggle. He held unto his Inhaler tightly because he couldn't trust himself around Michael.

He was scared that if he came face to face with Michael that his heart would give way and his lungs would seize to continue to take in air. He may as well pass out and completely embarrass himself.

He stood up to get blood into his head because sitting down was doing him no good at all. If it was anything it was making him even more tensed and scared.

When Michael was ushered in, his breath stopped, literally. He has waited for Michael for so long that it had become an emotion.

A mixture of fear, pleasure, love and addiction swelled around him. And he was more than afraid.

Michael looked just as amazing as he had dreamt of clad in a black suit which looked exactly like the picture his private eye had sent to him.

How could a man look so pure and innocent Felix thought gasping. He staggered but caught himself on time, luckily Michael didn't see him shake as he was engrossed in admiring his room.

God the look of admiration on his face was so beautiful Michael wanted him to look at him like that. Not at his office, at him.

Felix knowing that it would almost be impossible for Michael to ever look at him like that started to feeling an overwhelming sense of loss, he had to clear his throat to stop himself from being overwhelmed by sadness.

He regretted it immediately Michael turned to face him embarrassed. "Shit I need my inhaler." He mumbled feeling his heart constrict in his chest. He was not asthmatic but needed an inhaler because of Michael.

Almost everyday he dreamt of him and woke up with an overwhelming sense of loss he stopped breathing. Sometimes he wished to die because without Michael by his side he did not see any reason to live.

A mixture of feelings and thoughts clouded his mind as Michael walked further into the room and towards him.

Fear, love, lust, anger. They were but a little of what he was feeling.

He had to suppress a moan with great haste when he started to feel the strain in his pants. The strain had become almost painfully unbearable.

When Michael stretched his hands he almost lost his mind. He had imagined this day, dreamt of it, longed for it, for years, but now it has beckoned on him he didn't know how to handle it.

He almost chuckled at the thought. If his business partners were to see him now they will bet their life savings that he had been charmed and he had been charmed indeed, by Michael.

He looked at Michael admiring him then quickly went to take a sit to avoid Michael seeing the bulge in His pants.

"How much do you want?" Felix asked coldly his head buried in the computer screen in front of him. He couldn't look at the hurt on Michael's face without doing something stupid like kneel and beg for his forgiveness.

Michael looked hurt and the Michael he knew would always rant when he was hurt and that's exactly what he did. "I know this is not a bank and you may have supported other small businesses like mine but I promise I am totally trustworthy and I will pay back as soon as possibly....." Michael started speaking.

Felix interrupted him with a waive.

"Do not make promises Mr Michael the question was very Simple I presume. I've heard of your smartness do not make me think otherwise. When I ask a question you give me a direct answer. Got it?" he asked coldly.

His heart was beating faster than normal. He needed Michael to leave, he couldn't think straight. He couldn't breath normally. He needed his inhaler.

Michael almost turned around to leave but he didn't want to be a pussy. This is for my father he kept repeating to himself. "A million dollars. But I'll accept less I promise to use your money wisely and return as at when due. I pro__" Michael knew he was blabbing again when Felix gave him a stern look.

"You may leave now. I have other meetings." Felix said after three seconds of strained silence and Michael did just that.

He didn't even say if he would give me the money or not, Michael thought as he was leaving the office but he just decided to settle for the worse.

With the way Felix had spoken to him if was quite obvious what his answer was. He was not going to grant him his request and that was for sure.

Michael immediately felt a strange hatred for the man he had once admired.

"He has no heart, see how he condensated and humilated me just because I came to ask for his help." Michael murmured to himself with a deep frown.
