The day broke, and Allen opened his eyes to find a platinum-haired beauty, with stunning blue eyes, and perfect skin as if she were made to be the ideal of every man's fantasies, she was in his arms resting with eyes closed.
Allen gazed at 2B's lovely face and used his hand to brush aside the hair that covered her beautiful features.
2B was angry about what happened at night with Cate and since it was Rebecca and Nokotan's fault, she did not let Rebecca sleep with Allen, instead she occupied the bed with her master.
2B opened her eyes. Since she didn't need to sleep, she had simply waited all night in her master's arms for him to wake up. She might seem cold, but within her chest, her new heart beat strongly as she served her beloved master.
"Good morning, 2B..." Allen said with a slight smile.
"Good morning, Master... Is there anything I can do for you?" she asked, her blue eyes locked on Allen. She didn't take the initiative to ask for anything, but in her eyes, Allen could see the gleam of devotion, a desire to do anything to be closer to him.
Normally, Allen would have ignored that gleam, but today felt different after having a deep conversation with his system.
"2B, am I your master?" Allen asked calmly.
2B was confused by such an obvious question. "Yes."
"Why did you choose that?"
"Our original purpose was to serve humanity..."
"2B" Allen interrupted, smiling slightly.
She noticed the smile in Allen's eyes and understood that this was not the answer her master expected. "...None of the YoRHa will be able to serve a human... on behalf of them... I..."
"2B..."
"..."
Slowly, her expressionless gaze disappeared, replaced by a soft look with dilated pupils with a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Because... because that's what I wanted... from the moment I met you, I decided to dedicate every day of my existence to serving you, Master."
There could not have been a more sincere statement from her, in that one sentence she expressed countless feelings and they were successfully conveyed to her master.
"2B, close your eyes," Allen ordered.
The beautiful android opened her eyes in disbelief, unable to believe that this master who so often refused to give orders was now commanding her without hesitation.
She quickly shook off her daze and obeyed. Allen leaned in, and 2B trembled as she realized what was about to happen. Perhaps everyone would expect Allen to stop, as he would have before.
She definitely had boundless devotion for him, but at no time did she say anything about love, yet Allen didn't care, he just wanted to kiss her.
Allen kissed the girl in his arms. 2B could think of nothing else; there was no sign that her master would do something like this before, and she was unprepared for it.
Her mind quickly lost focus, surrendering to the intoxicating sensation of his lips and the numbness that overtook her body. Allen opened 2B's mouth and introduced his tongue.
2B responded as best as she could, her body held possessively by Allen. This behavior did not match the master she knew.
2B was drawn to his strong arms and powerful body. She didn't understand why people referred to her master as a "kid or boy" when he was clearly a man in every right. "Perhaps it's because of his face..." She thought before that strange feeling in her heart and soul clouded her thoughts.
2B melted as her strength waned, left at the mercy of her master.
After kissing her for ten minutes, Allen let her go.
"aah... hh...." She gasped with a flushed face and embarrassed, open eyes, still in Allen's arms. "Mas...ter... why?"
It wasn't that she was complaining; on the contrary, she wanted to continue as long as Allen wished.
Allen was silent for a moment before speaking. "You can't say things like that while being so beautiful and expect me not to desire you."
"Master... you desire me?!..."
Allen looked at her as if she were foolish. It was enough just to look at 2B to know the answer: a woman incredibly beautiful in every physical aspect and with infinite devotion. Allen would be a fool not to be affected by that. In fact, it was because of her personality that he hadn't made a move on her. Other men would have taken her to bed the moment she swore loyalty to them.
"Of course Hehe...."
Her heart leaped and she was filled with happiness, at some point she had buried the possibility of that happening, for her master is a man surrounded by beautiful women at all times, there is no need for him to be attracted to an android no matter how pretty she is.
"Tsk it looks like it's late.... oh well," Allen said as he stood and began changing clothes.
Artoria – 'He's grown... again...'
Bocchi – 'W... well, it's natural. He's in a growth period...'
The girls blushed as they watched everything that had happened, and also saw Allen changing.
Compared to the Allen from before, he was now nearly three inches taller, and more robust, and his jaw was more defined.
Despite all the experiences they had gone through, few people had noticed how Allen had grown, and not just physically... perhaps because they were so used to seeing him almost every day that it didn't seem strange to them.
"2B, can you prepare breakfast for the girls? I need to see Butcher today."
2B trembled and immediately got up. "Yes, Master!~" she said with a bright look in her eyes. For her, receiving orders was a reward, but she knew that Allen didn't like to give orders, and she even felt that he was uncomfortable when she called him "Master."
But at this moment, it was different. She felt that her master was truly treating her as his personal maid, a kind of joy she hadn't experienced before.
"2B..." Allen said, and she didn't need to hear more. She took a coat from the closet and put it on Allen.
Allen turned around and kissed her before leaving. The other dolls would follow him, so he didn't say goodbye to them. As for the explanation that he must give to Annie, Kimiko, and Cate for the existence of 2B, it is something that sooner or later he must do.
...
Allen took a taxi this time to meet with Butcher.
"Good day, sir. Where to?" asked the taxi driver. Allen looked young, but it was amazing how a change in attitude could make people perceive you differently.
"Brooklyn."
...
On the way, Allen reviewed the statistics of his system, especially what he had gathered in this world.
[Host, I've already explained the changes in the system. We are now generating fragments of non-canonical events.]
'That's good...'
Allen looked at the numbers on his screens. He had collected three hundred thirty fragments in this world.
Thirty were from the day Allen arrived, at the start of everything, with Robin's (temporary) death, his conflict with A-Train, and his friendship with Hughie.
Ten more fragments were from visiting the supers' meeting place and attacking them.
Another ten were for meeting Butcher, Frenchie, and MM, and ten more for Translucent, regardless of the outcome of their encounter.
Fifty fragments were from intervening in the Starlight tragedy and everything that happened in the Vought Tower the first time. Additionally, ten extra fragments were for his brief conflict with Homelander.
Fifty more fragments were for saving the plane and changing many destinies. Ten more for ruining Vought's reputation. Ten more for meeting Kimiko. Ten for Jack The Jupiter, and ten for A-Train and everything Allen influenced, including the race. Ten more for the Ezekiel event.
Finally, one hundred fragments were for the Death Squad, which involved the fates of Stan Edgar, Sister Sage, Cate Dunlap, Mindstorm, and the death of Black Noir.
And of course, there were also passive system fragments from the mutant spider, and the fragments created daily by the system, totaling twenty.
Subtracting the used for special collars for Annie, Kimiko, and Cate, plus what was spent arriving in this world and reviving Robin, in total there are three hundred fifty-five fragments.
'That's good news, right, System?'
[Yes, this world has many critical events and allowed us to gather so many fragments in a short time.]
Allen was surprised to learn that he could now obtain fragments from non-canonical events, such as his fight with Jack The Jupiter.
Before the system did not distinguish whether the actions were good or bad, nor whether they had favorable outcomes for Allen or anyone else. Now with the system's evolution, new rules had emerged:
– The more characters with special destinies involved and the more relevance and impact the event, incident, problem, etc, has for the world, the more fragments can be obtained.
Allen understood this but was also aware of reality. While it meant he wasn't obligated to follow canonical events, Allen found it much more comfortable to do so since it allowed him to know where and when he could obtain fragments.
Allen looked out the window at the towering skyscrapers of New York.
Allen had become stronger, but he didn't underestimate Vought. Allen couldn't afford to be arrogant and think he was invincible. At least in this world, he needed to be careful, as he had already proven that someone like Mindstorm could injure him, even if only a little.
...
Allen walked down a typical, discreet street that was somewhat dirty, and a few people glanced at him. Allen wasn't particularly eye-catching, dressed as an ordinary person, but even with the disguise, it was hard to hide his allure.
He ignored the stares and entered a modest, unremarkable restaurant; a classic spot frequented by singles who didn't want to waste time making their own coffee but also didn't want to spend too much money.
The aroma of pastries and morning coffee was so pleasant that it made one overlook a couple of spoons visible in the corner beneath a table.
Allen, wearing a brown trench coat, drew the attention of both the waitress and the cook. He smiled and walked to the back table where Butcher was waiting.
"We should meet somewhere else; they know us here," Allen said, sounding a bit weary.
"Nah, it's just unusual to see a well-dressed kid in this place."
Allen frowned and rested his elbow on the table. "Huh?! For your information, my clothes are second-hand."
Butcher grunted. "Tsk, then it must be your face..."
"If I didn't know you were a heartless bastard, I'd think you were jealous," Allen teased.
"The only thing I envy is that you can punch Homelander with your fists," Butcher said with a sadistic smile, something he often did when the topic of Homelander came up.
Allen didn't respond and sat silently until the waitress arrived to take his order. He only wanted a coffee.
Butcher continued eating waffles. The waitress, a middle-aged woman, brought Allen his cappuccino and a heart-shaped tart and then winked at him.
"Here you go, darling. Enjoy Aunt Merry's love~"
"Hey, can't you see he just got out of diapers!" Butcher growled, earning a deadly look from the woman. She left unsatisfied while Allen tried to stifle his laughter.
"It looks like we won't be able to meet here anymore, Butcher," Allen chuckled. "That woman will spit in your next meal."
"You don't understand women," Butcher smiled. "Merry will use toilet water to make my next coffee, kid."
Rebecca – 'He's right, but telling Allen that he doesn't understand women is like telling an ogre he doesn't know about swamps HAHAHA'
Allen sipped his coffee and watched Butcher finish his breakfast. Butcher appeared calm, but his body was constantly on high alert as if he always felt someone or something was pursuing him. His gaze was perpetually suspicious of everyone. His hatred seemed controlled but still existed like a vengeful snake waiting to strike.
Butcher's life was a tortured one, destined for a tragic end or bloody revenge.
Allen didn't feel right interrupting Butcher's way of life, because he knew that if someone did to him what Homelander did to Butcher, this world would have ceased to exist by now.
Allen took out a small, red, square case.
"So soon?" Butcher asked, surprised.
"Yes..." Allen replied without changing his expression.
Butcher looked around to make sure no one was watching, then opened the case. Inside were four vials containing a blue liquid—Compound V.
"It doesn't look any different... still the same blue crap," Butcher said, closing the case and putting it away.
Allen raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Did you expect it to change color or something?"
Butcher shrugged and raised his hands. "Relax, kid. It's just amazing that a day after getting this, you have an improved version of the Compound V formula."
"I wouldn't say improved, but it is stable," Allen said seriously.
"The fact that it won't kill me is already an improvement," Butcher smiled this time without looking like a psychopath. He was genuinely pleased. Allen could see that Butcher imagined himself fighting Homelander right then.
"Wait, nothing comes for free," Allen crossed his arms with a stern look. "This variant of Compound V sacrifices part of the V factor to ensure its safety."
"How much difference is there?"
"You won't be able to shoot rays from your hands, fly, or talk to insects. However, the super strength and super endurance that are basic to all supers will be there."
Butcher touched the case in his pocket. "Sounds fair..."
"Also, don't be mistaken. Having the ferocity and endurance of a super won't put you on Homelander's level, or any of the new Supes from The Seven."
"New members?"
Allen looked out the window. "It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Right now, The Seven and Vought are in trouble, but remember Vought has over two hundred supes?"
"That's true... and with the previous results, the next new members of The Seven won't be recruited based on their smiles..."
"Exactly, Butcher. That's why I gave you this. Use it on MM, Frenchie, and Hughie. It has no side effects and won't make them invincible, but it will keep them from getting killed if I'm not around."
"You're gonna make me cry," Butcher said sarcastically but unexpectedly looked at Allen with gratitude. "Thanks, kid..."
Allen's eyes widened, not expecting the heartless bastard to thank him.
Allen sighed. He had his concerns and wasn't sure if this was the right decision, but there was an undeniable fact that worried him: Kimiko.
In the series, unlike the comics, Kimiko was the muscle of the team. Without her, they would have been dead long ago. Without that, they were just a quartet of suicidal guys fighting against superhumans.
Allen was worried that taking Kimiko away from The Boys would cause their deaths.
In the original timeline, it was different. All members of The Boys, including Hughie, took Compound V. They didn't have special superpowers, but they did have super strength and endurance.
It might seem modest, but the bloodthirsty Butcher and the experienced fighter MM managed to defeat many supers with just that.
Allen looked at Butcher, who carried a metal crowbar under his trench coat. One of the things that annoyed him was that such an iconic weapon was a joke in the TV series—who would use that now to fight a super?!
But in the original timeline, that crowbar was soaked with the blood of many superheroes, including Black Noir himself.
Allen had his doubts. Perhaps he had unleashed a rabid dog; he would need to keep an eye on Butcher to ensure he didn't turn into a mad killer.
Allen had to make that decision because this world was unique, and he didn't know what might happen.
This can be easily explained:
– The world following The Boys comics is World 1.
– The world following The Boys TV series is World 2.
– The world following the animated adaptation, Diabolical, featuring characters like Acero and Great Wonder, would be The Boys World 3.
The problem is that this world is none of those and seems to have influences from all three, especially from World 2, making it a blend of the three, The Boys World 4.
Allen couldn't guarantee that his knowledge and the Chat were sufficient to identify what could or could not happen. There was the case of Stan Edgar, who turned out to be a terrifying villain to a level Allen couldn't predict.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to massacre the students of Godolkin... you've shown me that supers are like people—there's disgusting trash that deserves to be impaled, like Homelander and... well, you, and your harmless blonde girl, and your crazy Asian girl who only kills horrible people."
Allen had a bead of sweat on his forehead and wasn't sure whether to be relieved or not by Butcher's words.
Allen looked at Butcher, knowing two versions of him: one was a complete bastard who remained so until the end, and the other tried to be a better person, though he didn't succeed in the end.
What decides that is "Becca Butcher" and what happened to her.
This world apparently is the TV series version, yet there existed a comic version of Black Noir, which made Allen wonder if Butcher's wife was alive and had Homelander's child or if she died horribly.
Allen observed Butcher, but since he didn't mention anything about his wife, Allen wouldn't bring it up. He couldn't explain how he knew such personal details about Butcher's past, nor could he claim Becca was alive just to be wrong.
Allen looked out the window and took a deep breath. In the end, giving Compound V to The Boys was a decision that could be a disaster or a blessing.
But there was no other option.
"Goodbye, kid" Butcher left the place leaving the bill unpaid, but Allen didn't care and watched Butcher leave.
Vought wouldn't sit idly by, waiting to be destroyed. Allen was certain they wouldn't hold back and would bring out their best weapons. This was also an opportunity to see how much they were hiding in the mountain of secrets that was Vought International.

A/N: Sometimes it's confusing to explain some things but it's not all my fault, the writers of The Boys do what they want in each adaptation and sometimes it doesn't even seem like the same story ;(
