It's mostly based on their Stats and Difficulty like if a [LVL 1] Cannon Fodder that's a [Difficulty; Hard] will give [EXP +1K] unlike the usual [EXP +100] when you increase your Relationships for LVL 1 Cannon Fodders because it's easy, But. you might Obtain Targets they usually have Titles like; Celestial Beauty, A Scholar that appears once in a Millennium, Tyrant of the Sword which means their a Target and will give you more EXP and will give you extra rewards

Basically anyone who's Special and have a Title above their head is your Target! Of course this is a free system if you want to conquer the Target you can but if you don't then you can too]

That uses Strength, Defense, Focus and of course Speed. Song Jiao was scared that she might be chased by an Assassins because of Lin Lanfen and she might have to Run Far but because of her Agility she was too slow and increased Vitality by 4 since to Run Fast she also needs a big Vitality

and increased her IQ by 6 and used the rest Attribute points to Aptitude by 5, as she needed to be flexible in a lot of things and adapt quickly with talents as she quickly thought

'This Lin Lanfen must have her Aptitude at 1000 if she could easily play a Flute a Zheng and a Ruan in the span of only using it once! No wonder, since Heaven's Darling must be a Goddess at anything'
