Cosmo who was panicking and trying to comfort me

It gave me a laugh to see him worry for me

"Cosmo i'm fine"

I said looking at Cosmo straight in the eyes

Cosmo then gave me a worried look

Surprised to see him worry so much about made me want to tease him

"Heeeey what's with that look?"

I said giving him a soft nudge and looking at him moving my brows up and down

But Cosmo did not flinch nor did he looked annoyed

He just stared at me thinking about something

I tilted my head confused on what he was thinking

"Uhm is there something wrong?"

I asked Cosmo who's face became serious

"Athy, what did you dream about?"

Cosmo asked in a serious tone

"What are you talking about?"

I asked trying to dodge the question

"You were crying in your sleep"

Cosmo said

"Psshhhh that was just a bad dream I have"

I said waving my hands trying to let him forget

"Is that so?"

Cosmo asked as he touched his chin and looked at me weirdly and came closer and closer

"W-what?"

I asked looking away

Cosmo shrugged it off and stood up

"If you say it's nothing, then it's nothing"

Cosmo said as he starts to walk away

"Hoooooo"

I sighed in relief

"Let's go I heard mom calling for us"

Cosmo said as he opened the door

I then stood up immediately and looked at Cosmo confused

"Wait wait wait, Mom?"

I asked tilting my head raising one of my eyebrows

"What? Mrs les Acres told me to call her mom"

Cosmo said calmly smiling

"Why did she let you call her that?"

I asked confused

"I don't know... I think your mother wanted to have another child who is as handsome as me"

Cosmo said as he pointed as himself as the so called brother and as "handsome" as him

I looked at him in disbelief my mouth wide open

Cosmo looked at me smiling

"Open you mouth wider and flies will come running inside of your mouth"

Cosmo said giggling to his own joke

I just stood there angry don't know what to do

"Oh nevermind, even if flies fly to your mouth they'd die by how deadly your morning breath is kekekekekeke"

Cosmo said laughing evilly

I was stunned I did not hesitate and took the slippers and threw it at him

*woosh*

But Cosmo dodged it

Cosmo turned around to look at the slipper that was thrown at him and turned back to look at me and grinned annoyingly covering his mouth

"Bleeeeeeh"

Cosmo stuck out his tongue

I got furious in the early morning I took another slipper and chased him

Cosmo ran away from me as fast as he could

"I won't stop until I hit you with my holy slipper you ugly cockroach!"

I said yelling at the top of my lungs chasing after Cosmo who was running around

Cosmo then went outside and I came running after him

"Graaaaaaaaaaaaaah"

I shouted chasing after Cosmo trying to aim my weapon(The Holy Slippers)

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaa"

Cosmo mockingly shouted and laughing happily

"What is this commotion all about?"

Mother asked confused to hear all of the noises outside

Miya then went closer to mother and said

"I heard them yelling since earlier and didn't want to interrupt since they looked like they're going through war"

Miya said happily looking at the both of us running, yelling, and screaming outside

*Giggle*

Mother giggled softly looking at us running around

"Cosmo that young boy is such a funny young man, I really want to adopt him and have another child and sibling for Athy"

Mother said smiling happily thinking about it

"Eh?! but won't the young miss hate it?"

Miya asked concerned

"Athy would hate it?"

Mother looked at Miya who was staring at her confused

Mother then turned to look at us and seeing us running around and gave a sweet smile

"I don't think my daughter would hate it, can't you see? she's having fun!"

Mother said pointing at us giggling happily

Miya looked at me and was concerned again and said

"Uhm madame are you sure she's having fun? I think the young miss is about to murder the young guest..."

Mother looked at Miya confused and giggled

"Athy is enjoying it, it may not look like it but she's having fun"

Mother nodded satisfied

Mother then turned around and walked away

"Right Miya would you please prepare our breakfast?"

Mother asked Miya sweetly and happily

"Ah yes madame!"

Miya answered back

As she was about to walk away she then looked at us for the last time

"I'm going to kill you Cosmo!"

I shouted still holding my slippers looking for the right time to throw it at him

"Ah... yes the miss is really enjoying it.."

Miya said awkwardly then turned to do her job

"Cosmooooooo!"

I shouted for the last time

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Cosmo happily laughed running away from me

After hours of shouting, screaming, and running around outside

We then came back with dirt on our faces and clothes

"Huff...Huff...Huff"

I breathed heavily

I turned to look at Cosmo who was fine despite running for hours

"You...Huff...what's your...huff...Huff...secret...huff"

I looked at Cosmo to see him smiling at me

"I won't tell you hehe"

Cosmo said smiling at me mocking me

"Oh the 2 of you are back?"

Mother said calmly sitting on the chair sipping her cup of tea smiling at the both of us

While Miya goes and prepares the food for the 2 of us

"You knew we were running around outside and you didn't even bother to call us?"

I asked confused and slightly annoyed pouting looking at Mother as I was still out of breath

Mother then gave me a calm smile and said

"I didn't want to interrupt the 2 of you"

Mother said as she sips her tea

"You are so thoughtful mom!"

Cosmo said happily clapping his hands together then sat on the chair across mother

I who stood still shocked by what's happening

"Did you really let him call you Mom, Mother?"

I asked pointing at Cosmo who was happily eating his breakfast comfortably like his own house

"Well I did say to call whatever he wanted to call me"

Mother said happily

"I-"

As I was about to say anything I gave up and just sat beside Cosmo silently...

"...."

Mother looked at the both of us and smiled at us happily

After eating our breakfast we then got ready to go and visit Claude

The both of us waited for the carriage and hopped on it sitting in there with Cosmo talking non stop

*sigh*

I gave a heavy sigh

Cosmo talking non stop is more torture to hear mother nag me

But Mother never nagged at me.... She nagged at me just a little I guess...

I talked to myself inside of my mind trying to forget Cosmo who was full of energy still talking

Looking outside through the carriage window my resting on my palm silently looking at the scenery

Saying riding the carriage in 20 minuets is not really comforting

It actually took us 1 hour since walking to Claude's house takes 2 hours

I just told Cosmo that walking would be 1 hour and riding on a carriage would take us 20 minuets to let him agree and visit Claude first....

But then we ended up going to town first and forgot to visit Claude

After 1 hour we finally arrived at Claude's house

As we git down our carriage I was amazed and mesmerized by how beautiful and big the manor was

This is the first time I visited Claude's house

I thought to myself

I tried visiting since I was a kid but Claude would change the subject or stop me from visiting

I haven't seen Claude for the past few days

I wrote him letters but I didn't get any replies from him

So I visited without notice, not that I wanted to visit without notice

Visiting without notice is very much rude but he won't answer my letters

"It can't be helped.."

I mumbled

The both of us then walked towards the gate and rang the bell

*Riiiing*

After ringing the bell

An old man who seems to be the Butler opened the door and went outside coming to the both of us

He looked surprised as he wasn't expecting any visitors today

It was understandable since I didn't let them know in advance

The Butler then walked faster and arrived smiling at us gently

"May I know the names of the young miss and this gentleman?"

The butler asked nicely

"Uhm I'm Athanasia Zen les Acrez"

I pointed at myself smiling

I then turned to look at Cosmo and introduced him

"And this is my friend Cosmo Allen Vintiem"

Cosmo then smiled at the butler who seemed nervous

"We're Claude's friends and we would like to see him if we may?"

I said smiling gently at the butler

"The Young Master?"

The Butler asked

I then nodded my head happily

But the butler became even more nervous

And was thinking twice about to say something or not

He then decided to say something he looked at the both of us smiling nervously as he nervously fixed his glasses

"I really am sorry about this but the young master is-"

The Butler was trying to say something when all of a sudden

"Benjamin!"

And old woman called out for the Butler who seems to be the Head maid

"Linda?!"

The Butler exclaimed

"Come here!'

The Head maid said

The butler went near her as the Head Maid whispered something in the Butler's ear

"*Whisper whisper*"

The head maid whispered

The Butler's expression went fro. nervous to shock real quick

What are they talking about?

I asked wondering to myself

"The madame told you?"

The butler turned to look at the head maid

The head maid then nervously and slowly nodded her head

"But the young Master ***'* **** **"

The butler said

But I couldn't hear anything after that

"The young master?.... Claude?"

I mumbled

I turned to look at Cosmo who was beside me

Cosmo who was standing next to me in a serious face observing the 2 of them

I then turned to look at the Butler and Head maid again who seems to be talking or arguing about something

"It's the madame's orders, *** *** **** *****"

The head maid pointed at the window where there seems to be a lady standing

"Who is that?"

I mumbled again squinting my eyes trying to make my vision clear but she was too far away

The butlers face then became worried and nervous

The Butler and Head maid looked at me and Cosmo

"Uhm please come in..."

The Butler said as he opened the gate

Me and Cosmo looked at each other and nodded our head

The both of us started walking in

Looking around I noticed how big Claude's manor is

This is where he lives

"So beautiful"

I mumbled...

The Butler ope ed the Main door to see the servants walking around working

"That's a lot of people"

Cosmo said as he nudge my side

I then nodded my head softly looking around the working people it was suffocating

I think I was more used to being me, Mother, Miya In the manor

I thought to myself

The Butler then opened the door and showed us to the guest room

"Please take a sit"

The butler pointed at the sofa

The both of us then sat in silence as the Butler walked away and closed the door softly

"...."

"Hey!"

Cosmo called for me

"Their manor is so big!"

Cosmo said whispering happily

I nodded happily

"To think Claude won't let us come here"

I mumbled to myself

When the sudden realization struck me

Wait...

Claude was abused by his mother when he was little

Then that means-

As I thought about that

The door to the guest room opened slowly

Both me and Cosmo turned to look and there she was

Claude's mother

"Emillian Carszanta de Leon"

Without realizing I said her name out loud

Claude's mother was shocked as I said her name out loud

When I realized I said it out loud I then quickly covered my mouth and looked at Claude's mother nervously

Shaking....

"It seems you already know my name, but let me introduce my name still"

Claude's mother then touched her chest pointing to herself and smiled warmly

"My name is Emillian Carszanta de Leon"
