Chapter 18 - Cythe's POV

After the conflict at the cafeteria

Cythe and Josefina decided to leave

*Stomp stomp*

"Eeh w-wait Cythe" Josefina said

But Cythe doesn't seem to care he's busy glaring at something or someone

~The night he saw Athy~

I can't seem to sleep

He toss and turns he still can't fall asleep

At that time when Athy disappeared

I panicked and looked everywhere until i saw a light flashing

Other's don't seem to notice

But i have a feeling i should go there

Once i arrived to where that light was

There i saw Athy talking with someone

"Look if i'm here then where is Athy?" Athy said while glaring at her

What do they mean where's Athy?

I quickly glanced over and saw the woman in robe is smiling cheerfully

I have never seen her in my life and yet she's somewhat familiar

The woman in robe kept swaying her skirt and answered

"What are you talking about?"

The woman in robe answered

Athy seems ticked off

Annoyed by her answer

"What are you talking about?! You just said i'm not Athy i'm Athena!"

Athena?!

What are they talking about?

But the woman in robe still refuses to answer Athy's question

Athena and Athy?

"What do you think? You're in her body where do you think she is?"

This is making me confuse what

"How can I get back to my body?"

She's a completely different person

I glanced back again

And the woman in robe spun around

She looked at me but i won't look away

What are you plotting?

I glared at her

But she smirked and said

"I'll tell you when we see each other again"

I looked away and thought to myself

What if someday she'll finally leave

What will i do if she did?

Not even thinking twice

My body moved on it's own

And quickly rushed to Athy' side and hugged her

She's here yet not at the same time

I hugged her shivering at the thought

That one day just like mom... She'll vanish

What will I do if...

"Claude?" Athy whispered

As i turned to look to where Athy was looking at

That peanut brain looking at us intensely

Wanting to kill me.... i see

Do you think i'll quiver away?

With you out of the picture i alone can protect Athy

*woosh*

Athy ran towards Claude calming him down

I just stood there

Claude's face has went back to normal

Talking to Athy as if nothing had happened

He looked at me and smirked and acted like a puppy again

I glared back at him

And finally this is the time i realized

When something is mine

It's mine

I clenched my fist and shook my head

What am i even talking about?

Athy's not an object, and yet everytime it's about her

Snatching her is the best option I see fit

After that incident i took a break and didn't come to see Athy these past few days

To think all those information that had piled in my head

would let me think this deeply

And it's about the girl i'm most wary of on topnof that

"How can I go back"

I don't like hearing those

And to add it up that peanut brain can't seem to keep his hands

I thought and thought of solutions to think of what i can do

But nothing

It's like my memory has been wiped out

"Urgghhh!!" I groaned

I touched my forehead because of the pain

It's like pricking my head with millions of needle

This sucks

I didn't know when this started

I forgot...

it's like i'm missing something very important

After days and days

I finally decided to visit Athy

She must be worried sick

I greeted Mrs. Les Acrez

And she offered me tea

So i sat there and waited for Athy to come

I noticed someone moving at the corner of my eye

So i glanced and saw Athy with fuming face

Hehe.... How cute

I chuckled

And just as expected she nagged me none stop

All this nagging is giving me a headache

When finally peanut brain arrived

Acting as if nothing had happened

Smiling cheerfully

He's sick

I glared at him and thought of solutions on how.... I would take care of things

Year's went by and now we're 16 and these past years

Athy worked hard to help her mother financially

Athy doesn't know but while she's busy fixing her reputation

I secretly helped her

Not only me but also that peanut brain

The school has announced to take a rest in our dorm or feel free to look around

As i was about to walk away i noticed Athy standing there

Thinking while scrunching her nose again

I tapped her shoulder and she turned around and surprised that i was still here

But i need to ask her something

"Who-"

She looked at me waiting for what i was asking

What if i asked her she'll be in trouble and won't talk to me after that?

"Nevermind" i said

Athy seems to notice that i don't want to talk about it

So she offered to come with her to explore the school

And I agreed, we then walked around school talking with each other

The sun is about to set so i quickly went back to my dorm

....

I finally arrived

I sat down and read a book right beside the window

But i noticed something moving

I turned to look and it was Claude

"Where is he going at this time of hour?"

I closed my book and quickly followed him

I have a bad feeling about this

It was a long walk and i struggled to follow

*shulk shukl! Chuck! Shulk! Stab!"

I see blood running down

....

This-

*sigh* i sighed deeply

And went to follow the bloods trace

And there i saw

Claude on top of someone's body and repeatedly stabbing them

"Hey!" I yelled

Claude stopped and turned around

"Oh? Hey fish face!" He smiled and with blood all over his face

"Why'd you follow me when you know this was about to happen?"

I looked at him quietly

He stood up and said

"You've gone quiet, what? Cat got your tongue?"

He went close to me and said in a deep and insane voice

"I followed you that's because i know this was about to happen"

I said unsatisfied by the way he took care of things

He took out his bloody knife and wiped it with towel

"You look unsatisfied?" He grinned

"Because of you we lost someone to prove that someone is trying to harm Athy"

i said angrily

"Without taking any information from him we won't know who is behind this!"

I continued to reason him

"Oh really? I take care of things differently unlike you"

He said while pointing his knife at me, clearly showing how dissatisfied he is by me

I just stared back angrily

Where'd he even get that?

"If you hadn't killed him we would have evidences by now Claude" I said

He looked at me and his face became even more grim

"Fish face, the only person who could call my name is Athy not you not anyone"

He said angrily

his pupils went insanely small

"I would have done the same thing to you if Athy didn't calm me down that time fish face"

He said while looking at me still wiping the blood off on his knife

"We were thinking the same thing" i smiled in an eery face

The both of us looked at each other intensely

He walked away and whispered

"If only Athy wouldn't be sad, i would have killed you right here, right now"

While glaring at me

"What a coincidence, i was thinking the same thing" i answered in a grin

He then walked away and threw the knife on the ground

"Aren't you going to clean up your mess peanut brain?" I asked

He stopped and looked back

"No need you have your guards there, why not put them in good use?"

After that he walked away

"He noticed..."

Not surprising

I raised my hands and the Black S

Showed up

They were knelt down

And commanded them to clean up that peanut brain's mess and to also take his knife away

They nodded and started right away

I can't risk it, nit right now

I talked to myself

I was on my to the dorm but again i saw Athy

Outside of her dorm like talking to someone

And it's a guy

He looked at me and then Athy

Then the man behind her vanished

I went near her and called her name

Athy frantically looked my way

"W-what are tou doing here Cythe?" she asked me nervously

I looked at her to observe he movements

she's hiding something from me

".....I told you professor told me to look around campus" I said calmly

of course that was a lie

and yet Athy did not notice

what is she trying so hard to hide?

what are you hiding Athy?

It was clear she was lying but i brushed it off and went back

"oh! yes, silly me i forgot!" she said

I unconsciously frowned

"Who-"

But Athy interrupted me giving all kinds of excuse

she noticed i've gone quiet

so she looked up to me and noticed something from my expression

so I quickly changed my expression

"Then goodnight Athy..." I said then went back to my dorm

*Back to Present*

I stopped and turned to look at Josefina

"What should i do from now on?" I asked

She looked at me and smiled

"Let's start tomorrow" she said while smiling
