Meanwhile, Seth was in front of his parent grave kneeling before it and praying over it telling them he has met someone who might change him.

"I don't know why I feel this mother but I think your prayers while you were still alive worked. But she would soon be gone and I wish I won't feel such grieve. I hope so" he talk to them, prayed and then headed to his apartment.

The next day, Seth came to the restaurant the moment Rebecca noticed him walking to the kitchen without greeting anyone, she rushed to him. "Seth, where were you yesterday, Jamie your friend came over to look for you. Whats wrong?"

"What, did you see any changes?"

"I'm always seeing changes" he smiled. "Of course you are, ain't i a---"

"Don't say It" she cut him shut, "why won't you at least look over your shoulder and see how many people want you. Seth, can't you at least let the past go and face your future, we are family"

"Rebecca, you won't get what it is being alone. I have nothing to worry about, but when I have people around, I won't want to loose anyone. I guess this is my last" he said bringing out a tray from the cupboard and tying his apron.

"What do you mean?"

He smiled and just then Michael entered and drop him an ordered. Glared at Rebecca and walked way. "See" he shrugged.

"Wait, you don't mean?"

"Yes, I do......I only did this to find a better place but why is it that who so ever I care end up living. I don't wanna loose you so its better I quite" he said and hurried to set the order and walked out of her.

She fisted her hand into a tight bum. "I won't let you Seth, even if you'd end up hating me" she mutters.

At the hospital, April was seated on the bed writing in her diary while her mother makes her breakfast.

She stopped and thought of something before turning to her mother. "Mum?" She called.

"Yes sweetheart?"

"Before I die___"

"Oh please would you stop saying that?" Her mother plead in irritation and hit the cup by mistake.

"Allow me to go see the fireworks tonight. Someone would be with me. So i would be fine. Its goning to be tonight please" she pleaded.

"Promise me you won't run away" her mother ask as she stood and passed her, her breakfast.

"I promise mum" she grin and hugged her mother softly and tight that her mother had to sniff her tears in.

April contacted Seth that morning and asked him to come over tonight, they'd be watching the fireworks together and so he agreed to come taking her out.

"Did your mother agree?" He asked.

"Yes, she took permission for me and you have to return me." She said and he nodded.

That night he came to the hospital and found her already Ready wearing her pajamas. "Are you ready? He asked and she nodded running to him.

"I can't wait" she ran out. "Hey slow down you haven't recover yet you know" he warns but she only waved at him. He had to follow her down to the river side behind the hospital where they could see it clearly at that spot.

"So how are you doing at your work place" she asked when he finally arrived beside her staring over at the ocean "I quite." He says as she froze, eyes wide open in shock. "You what? Why?" She turned to look at him.

"Because, I don't want you hurt"

She gasped. "What does that have to do with me? Why because of me? I'm gonna leave soon and you'd be here looking for job. Can't you at least stay" she said little upset, her cheeks turns red trying to hide her tears. He didn't want her upset but she seems.

"And that's why I want to spend time with you, nothing to distract me. Stay by your side always because..." He paused about to complete his sentence the fireworks began.

Her faces lifted and was filled with happiness that instant. She tried to put his words behind her as she looked at him with a grin excited that it has already started. Seth could only watch her with a smile curled up his lips.

"Its so beautiful Seth" she says

"Yes it is" he replied staring at the sky with her. Now is his chance to tell her that he loves her and promised she would be fine.

"April" he felt his throat go sour when he called her name and she turned eyes wide open in shook. He held her hand in his tightly not willing to go.

"I want to tell you something" he said and she nodded. He moved closer and placed a light and tender kiss on her lips then moved away leaving her amazed. She never expected that.

"What was that for?" She asked.

"I love you!" He confessed and just then they were silent. April's eyes shoot out as the cold breeze blew them and fireworks explode. "I love you so much and that's why I quite my part time work to stay with you more. You have changed me entirely to a different person and that's why I would run a kidney test if it matches with yours. I would volunteer. If it will cost me my death" he said and in hearing his last word she quickly removed her hands from his and looked over at the river.

"Oh Seth" she called out with shaking voice.

"Yes, i don't care about anything in this world. I'm not worth it" he said again moving closer to her. His words hit her that she turned to him in anger.

"Shut up Seth" she shouted and he froze. "Just shut it" she whispers tears rushing down her checks.

"You don't understand, We would both die, if you give me a kidney i won't survive with one because the both have been affected and its spread rapidly. I might survive with a transplant. Mum and dad could have given me, i have an acute kidney failure" she whispered at the end of her sentence sniffing in trying to stop the tears. He stop dead staring at her with no answer knowing those with acute kidney failure leads to death.

She walks towards him and placed her hand on his checks. "And I want you to be the one reading my diary. So please don't die" she plea in tears.

He hates to see the tears in her eyes, especially when its caused by him. He didn't say a thing as he embrace her warmly. "Fine. If you say so" he smiled and stepped back wiping her tears away with his palm. Looking at eachother eye balls to eye balls, The fireworks exploded as they both looked up at the sky with a smile holding hands.

"The sky is bright with the stars. I would love to watch it with you some other time. Would you come again?" She asked taking a step towards him.

"I will, I promise" he says as she smiles and continued to watch the fireworks.

It was over an hour ago which he assisted and returned her back to her room with promise to come over the next day.

He left heading home and took a quick shower, he was so relieved that she accepted his love not like the way he thought it would be. She's scared now just as he is about her life span. He was just coming out from the bathroom tied in his robe cleaning his wet hair as a strong and mighty tunder and lighten strike and just immediately rain starts to fall heavily. He paused and stared through his window as the rain falls.

Meanwhile April who seats on her bed writing in her book as the rain falls distracting taking her mind there.

She drifted to when she was little. How much she loves to play under the rain but now she just have to stop most things not because she's 20 or grown but because she can't do it again.

A drop of tears fell on her book unknownly she quickly wiped it away and got off from the bed and walks to the window placed her hand on it.

Seth on the other side walks to it with the thought of how April is doing and placed his hand imagining her being there so it then looks like they were both facing eachother but the window was their border.

Just then the lighten strikes as they both left the window sliding to the cold tiles and resting their backs on the wall as she pulled her legs to her chest crying not wanting to say goodbye while he just raise his head and stare at the celling.

He fell over and laid down on the cool tiled floor while she managed to stand and walk to the toilet to wash her face and returned. But her tears couldn't stop falling as she stood by the door looking left at the window.

'Why does it have to hurt?'
