12 Bunny Masked Couple

Davi woke up in the middle of the night. She was half asleep as she moved out of the bed and walked towards the toilet.

After a moment, she walked back towards the bed. The light was on and as soon as she saw the man on her bed, curiosity suddenly enveloped her consciousness. She slowly walked over and quietly climbed on the bed. She sat carefully, with her lips pressed as tightly as ever. Well, she really, really wanted to look at his face. Her heart was beating wildly, as if the world would explode at any second. She just wanted to take a quick and harmless peek at his face. It was as if, at this very moment, the temptation was much greater than life itself.

'My god! Is this how Eve felt when she ate the forbidden fruit?'

Davi could only shake her head softly. 'Well... I could just tell him that I accidentally saw him,' she whispered to herself.

She took a quiet deep breath. One. Two. Three. Then with a loud, accelerating heartbeat, she slowly turned her head; eyes closed.

For a long moment, Davi kept her eyes closed as she faced towards the sleeping figure next to her. She felt like an actress engulfed in an intense, thrilling scene. Very, very slowly, she opened her eyes while tightly squeezing the pillow in her arms.

She subconsciously held her breath, not daring to make a single sound and blinking nonstop for a long while. Her shoulders dropped instantly as if her emotional energy just dropped to 0% in no time. She hugged her pillow like a weakened kitten.

'That was lethal,' she whispered, before she stared back at the man again.

The man's upper face was actually covered with a black sleeping mask. The mask was a bit bigger than the normal ones, hiding his forehead and only showing his sexy lips and the tip of his nose.

'So this is what he meant when he said accidents wouldn't happen, huh.'

Weakened, Davi lay down again, facing the man beside her. She could see his neck, his sexy Adam's apple, his perfect jawline, his lips, his jet black hair. It was only their second night together, but Davi felt no danger coming from him. Sei was just lying there, motionless, and Davi couldn't help but watch the non-human creature beside her.

"Can't sleep?"

Davi was instantly startled. She didn't expect that Sei would be awake. God, when did he wake up? Did he feel me staring at him for a long time now?

"Uhh… no, no. I'm turning off the light now, good night." Davi spoke as fast as she could. She was in an instant panic, feeling like a thief who was caught red handed.

The weather was bright as a couple, both dressed in plain black t-shirts paired with tattered jeans, were sitting inside a low-key, black Toyota Camry.

A few hours ago, Davi was unsure and nervous when she had asked him to wear the simple common attire she bought for him. However, Sei was surprisingly obedient and he took the clothes without saying anything. Davi obviously felt relieved and was then stunned soon after. It was because Sei, dressed in such clothes, was a sight that something Davi just couldn't help but praise. She couldn't believe that he still looked so elegant and eye-catching even just wearing plain, normal clothes. His long legs were hugged tightly by the jeans, revealing their strong, muscular shape, making him look like the perfect boyfriend material.

"To make you not look weird, I bought these." Davi broke the silence as she smiled at him brightly.

Sei's line of sight fell onto her hands which were holding a pair of... couple masks? She then took the smaller one and wrapped it around her face. Sei was almost fine with it, however, the masks were just a bit strange. They were childishly designed like a bunny. It even had a pair of ears towering above the eyes.

He stared at the girl for a moment and seeing her wearing the strange mask made him take the mask she was holding out to him. Davi smiled at him dazzlingly once again.

"We're here boss," the driver said as the car stopped. Sei looked outside the car's window then his brows slowly knitted quietly.

Meanwhile, Zaki was just patiently waiting, sitting lazily on a park bench. He suddenly stood up the moment he saw the doors to the black car start to open. Davi, who was wearing a funny bunny mask, made Zaki's eyes sparkle. She, wearing a loose black t-shirt and jeans with a bunny mask, was just too cute that people around them also turned their heads to look at her.

However, what appeared in the next moment almost made Zaki choke to death!

"Cough, cough, cough… holy sh*t!" Zaki couldn't believe his eyes. In that moment, he saw Sei come out of the car wearing the same common clothes and… the same funny bunny mask! He was completely bewildered! He never thought that this day would ever come, not even in his wildest dreams. He couldn't believe that he finally saw that frozen stone Sei, wear something funny for the first time in his life!

"All hail Davi, your highness. You really are the best!" he whispered to himself while his gaze remained locked onto the bunny masked couple, looking like delinquent, lovey-dovey young lovers, just meters away from him.
